I typically dont get good service wherever I go it seems these days. At first it seemed like it was going to be the same but it turned out to be a great haircut with Katelyn and experience overall. I would definitely come back and its nice to have them there on my way home from work. The hot towel made it all worthwhile!

Recently moved to Tustin and was looking around for a new place to get a haircut. I noticed that Floyds had tons of great reviews so I decided to book online and give it a try. I am super glad I did. Both the front desk attendant and my stylist were very professional and friendly. The shop was very clean and they played good music to go along with the cool music art on the walls, which was nice! Loved the cut I received and will happily be returning in the future. Thank you.

Was willing to take me in for a last minute hair cut and at a great price. The cuts are super well done and if your not satisfied they help you until you are. And if you pay a bit extra they do a quick vibration massage on you.

My first choice is always Floyd in tustinEveryone friendly and nice except ALONZO LI would not recommend him to anyoneI had a great experience with others in this nice barbershop but my first time with him was not good at all, hes kinda hitting me with his tools I did not say nothing maybe today was not his day or whatever, the only thing I can do is a review and no tip for him today I learn today that I should make an appointment before I get there cause when I walk in next time I dont want to feel the sameMan you lost one customer hope you learn how to treat everyone nice.

Great experience. Angie was super personable and gave me an awesome short womens cut, even though I had no idea what I wanted. I like hair stylists who can take a creative/artistic approach since Im always so indecisive! 10/10 will definitely return.

Angela with her Billy Ash look most superb. I gave her a few directions she studied her options and she went all school scissors all the way in, she only used clips where necessary.She even used foam to shaved my neck, nobody in that location did it before..Ill come back to work with her.

I just got a haircut that was basically lazy . It’s not leveled and all in balanced . When I left I noticed the hairstylist did not do my sideburns and went back in asked her to shorten it but all she did was run the machine over my sideburn vertically only . I paid $30 and did not even get the hot lather neck shave. They normally are good so I think they where having an off day .

Angie did a great job, as always! She always does exactly what I ask and is so knowledgeable about hair types, styles, and what I need done. She is a great conversationalist - the only time I dont dread the small-talk is when I go get my bangs chopped by Angie. My hair feels great. I didnt wait long at all. I got exactly what I asked for.

Angie is really good at what she does. I get my side shave design once a month and couldnt be happier with her work and the atmosphere is Bomb too. Theyre always really busy so its best to call ahead to make an appointment. If you walk in and try to be seen you may end up waiting for 45 minutes or longer. Theres not that much parking the parking lot is kind of small. But as long as you call ahead show up 10 minutes before your appointment you should be good to go.

So far, Ive had a haircut done great and fantastic. Each cut was done with a high level of professionalism and was exactly what I had asked for. In fact, the whole staff, from my experiences, is very laid back, friendly, and helpful. The location is very central, and theres a reason it can take a while to get an appointment- these guys and gals are good-really good.great job guys!

Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. For the price you pay you definitely get the bang for your buck. They are open by appointment only at this time and are taking precautions to keep their team and guests as safe as possible, including requiring masks, temperature checks, and outdoor waiting area.

Great place to get your hair hooked up. Make sure to make appointment! Walk ins are usually not recommended as you most likely will have to wait several hours for it. Lastly, I wish their merch was more affordable.

Could not be happier with my experience at Floyds in Tustin. Was referred by two friends and they suggested Marcy specifically. So I went online and made an appointment. The website has all the stylists schedules posted, which made everything incredibly easy. Came in and was seen immediately. Marcy was personable, professional and very attentive. She listened to exactly what I wanted, completely understood me and executed probably the best haircut Ive had in more than 5 years. I cannot wait to go back, this place is fantastic.

Good quality haircuts, came here for a couple years but after a couple months they got lazy and wouldnt do the neck shave that comes with the cut. I was also charged a different style and higher priced haircut my last time there, while Ive been getting the same one for the past 2 years. Good cuts but bad business practices.

Up until a year ago, Ive always gone to a cash only low budget hole in the wall barber with a messy shop and bad breath. Since I started going to Floyds and getting a truly professional cut and style, I have gotten promoted at work, gotten a 10k/yr raise, and now I get way more Social time with my wife at home. If you want to be a bigger stronger man, you should get your hairs cut here.

Not good and over priced

Great place to get a haircut. You really cant go wrong at Floyds. Everyone who has cut my hair here has been extremely talented and I have never been dissatisfied. The theming of the shop and open air setup is unique and gives this place a great vibe.

So far I have been here twice. First time me and my bro got haircuts at the same time. The wait was about 10 minutes and the haircut was about 20-30 minutes for ME. My bro was another 40 minutes on top of that! He doesnt have a complicated hairstyle so I have no idea why that took so long, but the cut was great though. Second time I walked in I was told the wait would be 30 minutes so I instead make an appointment for 6pm the same day. So I returned at 6 and checked in, they seem confused about my appointment but tell me someone will be with me shortly. This person then begins to cut a customers hair, when another barber asks me about my appointment they tell me it not until 8pm! Why am I sitting around being told to be here at 6?! Still got a good haircut but it literally took all day! Overall good hair cuts, but needs better communication. Its not hard to just tell me to return at 8 is it?

I walked in for a hair cut in a Sunday around the time they opened. I was greeted well asked my name and asked if I had an appointment I told him no. This is when I was told they couldnt help me for 5 hours. Me being me I looked around and asked why theres no one waiting . He told me everyone was busy. Ok. But no one is waiting. Then he told me that they mainly do appointments. He seemed pretty pleased with himself so I told him I would not be back ever. I must admit this is partly my fault I didnt want to wait the hour it takes circle city for a cut. Who by far the best REAL barbershop in orang.

Awesome staff and excellent haircut! I got the exact haircut i asked for and the conversation was great to pass the time. The best part is that i didnt get the impression the stylist was trying to rush the session, quality before quantity is the feeling i left with.

The first time I went to this place I got a great haircut and she took her time to make sure it was good. Just last week I went to get a hair cut and the guy did a horrible job. He just seemed like he was rushing to get me out the door. After he was done cutting my hair he left my hair super wet so I couldnt see how bad the cut was. I notice it looked a bit choppy and not blended correctly. I pointed it out and he attempted to fix it. Again he left my hair wet and I had enough so I left. The more I looked at my cut when I got home I realized how uneven it was from one side to the other and he didnt even cut some areas of my hair. Anyway I think this is my last time going there. This place costs almost double the price of other shops and it feels like a crapshoot getting a cut there.

Marcy. I was a walk in and not knowing what to expect since Ive never been here. You see Ive been getting my haircut by the same stylist for close to 20 years. I was going out of town and my stylist was booked so last minute I dropped by Floyds. I waited about 20 mins (best to make an appointment) and Marcy introduced herself. She was kind and professional. She listened and talked about what type of cut I wanted. She did a fantastic job and I truly appreciate her. In fact, Im back at Floyds right now waiting to get another cut by Marcy. I have to apologize to my stylist of 20 years since Ive found a new one. Thank you Marcy!

Im very basic with my cuts. Buzz on the sides and trim up top. Im not picky and dont care who cuts my hair. Everytime I call in to make an appointment they tell me the walk-in is 45min, so I add my name to the list. When I drive to the shop and check in, its still a 45min wait... I dont want to spend 1.5-2 hours of my day at the barbershop... Thats why I call in. [UPDATE] Now they no longer care to do walk-ins. I dont care to jump through their hoops for a haircut. Going to Sports Clips across the street now.

An excellent place to get a haircut. Monica and Sydney are two of the best hairdressers Ive ever come across. The staff truly seem to care for their customers and do there job in a way that makes you want to come back. Grab a cut, a hot towel and enjoy the really cool mural art!

Called to get placed on the wait list. Sarah D called my name in the time frame I was given over the phone. Showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did a great job. Took her time and my hair looks fantastic.I’m used to Supercuts or Fantastic Sam’s prices, so this is pricier than I’m used to but it was well worth it. Thanks Sarah D, I’ll be back.

Highly recommend making an an appointment ahead of time. As I sat waiting there were 3 individuals who came in after me who had an appointment, and were helped immediately so that is definitely the way to go. I was also apparently coming in as shifts were ending, so that probably prolonged the wait a bit. Walk-ins will probably wait an average time as anywhere else, but having an appointment will get you the quickest service.The cut was decent, but I asked for a close 1 on the sides, and it is definitely more of a long 2. I would have asked the barber to get it closer once I had seen, but again the cut itself was fine so I will just get it cut again sooner than expected. Lack of public access to the restroom is another bummer with a longer wait time, and was part of why I jetted out of there with a longer haircut than desired. Pleasant conversation and interaction with the barber.To the owner - If I may suggest either some darker tint on the windows, or some type of blinds. The gentleman next to me was getting a shave, and was just getting blasted by the sun. It was fine for me as I was mostly facing away from the the sun, but this poor guy was getting a sunburn in the shop and the barbers and receptionist were actively trying to hold up clipboards etc to keep the sun from customers eyes.

Best place to get a cut in OC by a landslide! I am a last minute kind of scheduler and they always seem to accommodate.

Salon for guys. If your idea of a barber shop is a small place with a few chairs, male barbers, this is not that. That being said, they cater to men.The hair cuts I have had, have been both good and just OK. Depends on who is doing the cutting. Best way to get a cut that you like is to give clear directions.Reasonably priced. More expensive than some, but less than others.

The staff is knowledgeable. Very helpful with new styles . I call it my home now. Straight razor the back of your neck no worries. Everybody loves a fresh shave.

Make an appointment before going. Been here twice now and both times I have gotten great cuts. Price is a bit higher than my old barber shop which was $15 for normal cut. There are beautiful women barbers/stylist everywhere here and since its a younger staff no more razor cuts from shaky hands.

Received the worst haircut/beard trim here. Stylist seemed stoned. After 45 minutes of doing the exact opposite of what I had requested, I said I had to leave. She did not finish my cut & my beard was completely lopsided.Every time I made an appointment, I am not in a chair for at least another 15-20 minutes after that time. Why even make one. Used to be my local spot but Ive had enough...

Im a Floyds fan, but not this one. Dont go unless you can get the barber you want. As a walk-in, I got a dude with a hat, may have been Adrian but not sure, he never introduced himself, no name on the receipt. After asking me the compulsory questions of what I wanted, he never spoke until it was over. I dont like a lot of chit-chat with a cut, but it was super uncomfortable. Im not trying to be mean, but this guy needs to find another line of work where he doesnt need people skills. Worst of all, he didnt seem to know how to cut my very simple haircut. He used the electric trimmer for almost everything. Didnt touch or ask about my sideburns. I waited a week to do this review because I was not happy to spend $25 plus a small tip on such an unpleasant experience and didnt want to blast him. This is my cooled down review. Sorry, but it was bad.

I really like Floyds and always have, but this last experience is kind of making me wish I had gone somewhere else. I made an appointment for later that day and when I came in, waited about 10 minutes for someone to be available - which is fine but I wouldve just rather walked in at that point. When it came to my hairdresser, I dont remember her name but she had blonde curly hair and tattoos. We talked about what I wanted, which was taking about an inch off of my hair. Im not sure if she was new, but she simply just started cutting my hair without sectioning it off, and it took her only about 10 minutes. I have really thick hair and most hairdressers have to make sure they do it by layers or else it ends up being uneven. When she was finished I payed and went outside, only to find a chunk of hair in the front that she had missed originally, I went inside and got it fixed but when I suggested maybe taking another half inch off she said I shouldnt.Next day I come into work and am asked if I cut my own hair. I guess I didnt really see it that well, but its completely uneven. It looks as if I NEED a haircut, not that I just recieved one.Im not sure, maybe the hairdresser didnt want to waste her time on my hair, but for paying almost 40 dollars it doesnt feel worth it to go here. Especially because I have to go in tomorrow to have them fix it for me. Just a lot of extra work for something I really hoped was done correctly.

I had never been to Floyd’s before, I usually go to cheaper places like super cuts... but oh my gosh I feel like I have been cheated my whole life for not going to Floyd’s lol. Literally the best barber shop I’ve been to and best barber I’ve had ever.I also went back later that same day because I wanted to make a slight adjustment and Joey, the man, fixed me up FOR FREE and gave me some advice for next time I get my haircut. Overall sensational quality. AND again, I’m not one to spend a lot of money on a haircut, but it’s actually so worth it. You come out of it feeling like you went to the spa for 30 minutes after they put the hot towel on your face and you use the shoulder massager.20/10 review 5 stars no doubt.Ask for Nicholl or Joey.Great customer service at the front desk as well.

It was a nice place with good ambience and anyone would definitely love it. Their choice if music and the way they do si completely organized. Most of them are professionals and they take their time to understand about how you want your style. I think they should also be in a position ti suggest some style that suits a person or else it is not worth going there. My barber was a bit confused but finally he managed to do something. Prices are ok but lookout if you are going for the first time.

Came to this place 2 separate times and received horrible service, the first time I came in for a trim and it seemed like the barber was in a hurry because I was a walk in and he did a good job but never trimmed the mustache area which I was disappointed with. The second time I made an appointment for a hair/beard trim and ear/nose waxing. This time was a complete disaster!! First off the girl that did my service cut my haircut and beard trim did a completely inept job. My beard was lopsided in several places - near the corners by the ears, the chin and under the nose and check bone line. Never mind missing several area on my head that we’re totally missed while giving me a buzz cut!! Then during the waxing portion of the appointment, she had to call in others to help her set up the wax sticks correctly- this was my first time getting waxed, so I wasn’t alarmed... I later learned how bad she was when I told my girlfriend about the experience!

I usually hace an enjoyable experience at Floyds but not this time. I was a walkin so I didnt mind the wait but the stylist Alison was about as unfriendly and cold as possible. No greeting or hello...no personal interaction at all...no goodbye or anything after. Not a very good experience. Ill go back but Ill make a. appointment so I can pick a other stylist.
