If I could give a ZERO I would. The lady that’s always there is RUDE if you ask her to use a pen or anything. I’ve been going there pretty often without a mask on and it’s been fine! All of a sudden I come after 4 and it’s so busy I’m still waiting in line at 5pm (closing time). THEN she looks at me when I’m almost up there to her and tells me rudely that I have to come back when I have a mask on! There were several other people without masks on behind me but she pointed me out twice to make me leave! TERRIBLE customer service and discrimination. I will not be back!

The whole Tuscaloosa post office is fraudulent. They are stealing packages. They are opening them up and putting in the mailbox. I have been experiencing this since December. I have lost so much money because Amazon refuses to use another Carrier! There is no real person to talk to, There is nothing being done about this issue. They need to screen these employees better than this. This would never happen in Washington DC. I just chalk it to people who never had anything life so they talk from others! The while post office needs to be under investigation in Tuscaloosa

Would never go here again if I had the choice. As the others have said, be prepared to wait in line 45 minutes minimum. They regularly have 15+ people in line and only one person at the counter. I have to wait to pick up mail too big for a company P.O. Box, on company time. It’s beyond frustrating.

Worst post office ever. I thought Tuscaloosa was a major city but every time Im here there is one, sometimes two people working. Its the weekend and only one person working. Also last two days (that Im aware of) the internet is down, so no credit transactions and no tracking info available..

They cannot deliver a package to my apartment to save their lives. They never bother bringing it inside to the office so I can get it later, but instead leave me re-delivery slips and every time I fill one out by hand or online, it never gets re-delivered. If I could give them less than 1, I would.

Be prepared to wait at least a week for mail to arrive at your location, if it ever does. It took 2 weeks for mail to be delivered to me from a town about an hour away. Please avoid this post office at all costs!

The worst place ever. Never receivey packages and when I do recieve them theyre broken or have been delivered to the wrong house. Your staff cant do their jobs to save their lives. Worst post office ever. never have more than 2 people working. doesn’t try and is not concerned about packages at all. usps said my package said my was waiting for me at the facility and the lady went to the back and lied to me and said it was out for delivery when i see that it was not.

My rating is a negative star! I’ve had several packages missing. They messed up my PO Box payment and locked my box and it had been paid up to six months! I had to go in and show my payment receipt and find my mail!!!! Now they have miss placed several of my packages and they show they have been delivered to my box. I have several months left on my PO office box and I’m afraid to receive mail because they’re taking the packages!!!!

My package has been sitting in this post office for the last ten days. I got confirmation by ups that it had been transferred to the post office (usps) for delivery, and have attempted to get in touch with to office to no avail. The woman I spoke to at UPS literally told me good luck, getting my package. My latest expected delivery date was December 2nd, and the ordering company cant get in touch with them either. No idea what to do, as Im missing several packages that I ordered for the holidays for my family. Now I need to sort through all tracking numbers and see how many others they potentially lost or dropped the ball on. Also has anyone found a way to actually contact them, without getting put on hold, then hung up on. I would rate 0 stars if I could; messenger pigeons might be a more efficient use of government funding and resources.

If you can avoid this waste of space United States postal service do it at all costs I have now had three different packages with my address and unit number on them sent back because the person they have delivering the packages cannot read the unit number after the address. a fourth package I actually managed to get to the post office before they returned it where I pointed out that in the address it had the unit number on it after the manager got smart with me saying it wasnt on there. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

I have had a post office box with the U.S. post Office since 1982 and have maintained the same box number since then. Originally it was at Alberta station and then combined moved to the Skyland branch in the last year to 2 years the service has steadily declined. This is a business box and I have had over 20 checks not get delivered from various sources. I have also had registered mail that I had never received a notice on or that I came to pick up and could not be found. The most recent 1 was from the Department of Justice involving investigation at a nursing facility I work with. I have also received packages that were 3 to 4-month-old apparently had been sitting at the post office all that time. by my box is full my mail is placed in a male tub for me to pick up but recently when I have gone and ask for the male I have been told that no one was available in the back to give it to me and they would not go from the front desk to get it for me though I may awaited in line for 25 minutes to get to the desk. Another point they told me to Bang on the door out by the boxes and I did but no one ever came to help me. On 1 occasion someone came to the door but said they were allowed to do that or give me my mail. I have tried calling both the branch supervisor and the postmaster with no response. I have also asked to speak to the branch manager while in the post office and they called him any never came out to talk to me.

Don’t know if it’s this post office or USPS in General but I had a package leave North Carolina on Dec 4th and arrive in Atlanta on the 5th. It arrived in Birmingham on the 6th and according to the tracking information, left that day in route to the final destination (Tuscaloosa). It’s now the 14th and I still don’t have it. They need to make the USPS part of the military and assign soldiers to perform its duties. I’ll bet we get things straightened out then.

Claimed to have delivered a package to my son; within 4 hours, same package was ready for pick-up at the Skyland P.O. Never has a package that has truly been delivered been ready for pick-up in that time frame (same day) at a post office. Four days later (after Labor Day holiday), this same post office claims the package is not there (and that it must be at the 35401 facility) even though tracking says it is and that it is available for pick-up at the 35405 P.O. Never seen such incompetency!

Watched the driver drive up to my mail box look and drive away, later usps said my package wasnt delivered due to my mailbox being inaccessible. Again watch her look and drive off. Plus I have to video on my security camera. Will be sending to corporate. Had to delay a project due to her. Cost me 1000s from one part.

Past three deliveries I was supposed to get from this post office were either lost or stolen from this post office.Order 1: A shipment from Amazon from a third party seller, claimed as lost by the USPS and received a refund from Amazon. Never delivered.Order 2: An order from a third party Ebay seller that was only misaddressed by a letter (my address has an East at the end of it and the person who was sending it accidently forgot to put it there.) Instead of leaving the box for me to pickup, the item was returned to send by USPS.Order 3: An order from Amazon again, a small package. Had a roommate go over to figure out hat happened to order 2, and they saw order 3 IN THE CLERKS HANDS but because it was addressed to me. The next day I showed up before closing time to pick it up and the person in charge was extremely reluctant to help (closing time, I get it) and while I was polite and calm about it asking what was happening to my package, the clerk was unhelpful and only after asking to please help did they do it. Order 3 was labeled as with USPS carrier meaning that the package was en route to delivery. Later that night, the package was deemed lost.Point being: this post office is incompetent and has continued to lose packages over the past month. Tread carefully.

I am unfortunately living in Kansas and needing help since I no longer live in Tuscaloosa. I called the number provided and it rang for a good 2 mins. When I called again it was like someone answered and took the phone off of the line so it’s just beeping now. So frustrating when someone could answer to help with a small question that I have

I just went to this PO to buy stamps. Ten persons were in line ahead of me and when no one was attending I asked where were the desk workers. I was told they left at 3:00 to have lunch and said they would be back at 4:00. After a few more minutes of waiting I left with most of the other customers.Terrible supervision! I needed to drop a package off. I already had postage and a label on it. I literally just needed to sit it on their counter because they wont let you stick it in the box in the lobby if its over 13 ounces. I came in right at closing which was the quickest I could get there. A lady that looked like the manager barely looked at me and said closed Then shut and locked the door in my face. Other people were in line being helped so I loudly explained through the door I just needed to sit it on the counter. I figured she would let me do that since I didnt need to pay for anything or talk to someone behind the counter. Instead of replying, she turned her back to me! I understand that it was right at closing but she could have been way nicer about the situation.

Delivery drivers cannot read or they refuse to read delivery instructions. Refused to try and bring the package back to the house. They also refuse to answer the phone when you call the office and will let it ring for around 10 minutes untill the system hangs up the phone

No one answers the phone there. So after calling many times and eventually my call just gets dropped, I went in to ask which side of the street they want my new mailbox on. Miss Candace said she would have to check with the carrier and get back to me. When asked she said that would be later that day. She never called me back. And they wont answer the phone. I guess I will have to go stand in line for another 30 minutes and try again to get an answer.

The worst place ever!!!! They are currently marking packages as delivered that have not been delivered, which is completely against protocols. They frequently deliver packages to the WRONG address. They NEVER answer the phone, I called 30 times with no answer! Packages are constantly “lost” or “unable to locate at this time” I can’t wait to move and no longer have this facility as my mail carrier. Completely incompetent!!!!

The mail use to arrive at 11am., then 12 pm, now 5pm. Do not get all your mail or you get someone else. I had register letter, they did not come to the door or blow the horn. Just left a notice. So I fill it out, they left the notice still in the box. The skyland has fallen down on their job or just do not care.

I went to this office to pick up my mail that was on hold for my new address,I’ve been going for the past week and they keep telling me that i don’t have any mail,the supervisor called the delivery driver and told him to pull my mail and bring it back to be placed on hold, i went back the next day to check for mail and the mail clerk told me there’s no mail, but i know that I’ve had mail for the past week or so,I’m expecting important mail and they continue to be rude after standing in line for almost an hour!! They’re rude and have poor Customer service!!

You have to scour the internet in order to get the actual phone number for this location, otherwise youll call the national customer service number, sit on hold for an hour, and theyll do nothing for you. Took calling 6 times before someone answered. They dont deliver your mail properly, dont leave a notice when they attempt to deliver a package, and then have no idea where it went after that. Now Im out $50. Thanks

Summary: Ordered ~$900 ring only to have it lost when it was out for delivery. Do NOT send valuables through this service. Request UPS or FedEx instead.I have the unfortunate luck to have this office service our location. My roommates and I have had issues with packages not being delivered before, and the only way of resolving this issue is to go to the office (they will NOT answer the phone). After waiting in line, you will be told something along the lines that you werent home, or that no one answered the door. This is completely false, as we will usually be waiting for the knock.I ordered a university class ring from Balfour. They shipped it via USPS. I should mention that they do not have an automated system to email package tracking numbers (really guys?). More than enough time had passed to make and send the ring, so I called to check on its status. They claimed that it had been sent 3 weeks before my call. I was dumbfounded, but asked for them to send me the tracking number so that I could follow up on it. Checked the status of the package: Out for Delivery. They could have lost the package, but I find that highly improbable if it made it all the way here with no issues.Attempted calling, to no avail. I then visited their office, only to be told that they couldnt find it. I was also asked repeatedly why I had waited so long to notify them (it had been an hour since I found out). I had to repeatedly explain the situation to each person and it seemed as though they just couldnt grasp it. I finally gave up after some weak promises of finding it. I called Balfour and notified them of the situation so that they could start working on things from their end.I then called the USPS service number. I was on hold for 55 minutes before speaking to a representative. He was very helpful with setting up a case with the missing package and assigning the task to one of the location supervisors. I requested that they contact me through email so that I would have documentation of our conversations. Long story short, they couldnt find it.

They Lost my package! Had to go up there several times and call for them to tell me they couldn’t find the package. I’ve never had mail become misplaced or lost. Went to file a claim online and it told me that my package wasn’t eligible for one because I didn’t purchase insurance.Very disappointed and will try to avoid my mail coming through them ever.

This is a terrible post office. I sent off my text books to be returned to get my money back. The company said they never received it so I was overcharged a fee. I called and asked to speak to Sharon the manager but she couldn’t come to a resolution. This is a terrible post office everyone is rude and incompetent of doing their job. They honestly need to clean out the whole post office and replace everyone single body in management/ supervisory position. Oh let’s not forget James Campbell will lie through giant dirty teeth, so don’t even ever talk to him. Item shows delivered although it was not. Called them and they basically accused my wife of lying, theft, fraud, etc. Completely rude and unnecessary. I absolutely would never employ anybody who acted in that manner regardless of the circumstances. We receive at least 2-3 packages per week from USPS, UPS, or FedEx and this is the first time an item has been lost. You would think from talking to the lady at USPS that we were trying to defraud the government of millions. It was a $10 item. I can get over losing a $10 package. Im more concerned that we employ a person that is not qualified and would probably have trouble finding fast food work should she lose her job at USPS.

I was expecting a small package to be delivered today. And sure enough, about 11:45, a small package was delivered. BUT, the apartment number on the package I received was 204, and I live in 206. Are mail carriers incapable of reading apartment numbers on packages and on doors to make sure they are delivering to the correct one? This is the second time in a week that 204s package has come to 206. Where the hell is MY package that should have been delivered to 206? In non-existent apt.208, or maybe in the next unit in Apt 306. Rain, snow and the dark of night?! Get it right in broad daylight!
