This is the worst dentist office to go to. My mother had to get a root canal treatment and they keep on messing sending the paperwork to the insurance. For the first few weeks they did not even sent the paperwork until I asked when did they sent. It has been more than 3 months of calling back and forth but no satisfactory results. I also think most of the positive reviews are fake here. Do not fall for that.
The staff at this location is always friendly and informative. Ive interacted with several different staff members at different occasions and my experience is always positive. They are just always so friendly. Thank you Maria for excellent customer service today!

Today’s was my grandma’s visit and a lady in the front desk with curly long hair was the first person to be so nice to us. Everytime we ask something she is always with a nice tone. We all appreciate that.
Absolutely horrible. Every time I come it’s about a 2 hour wait or more, with an appointment! I have had my braces over two years and have been very patient. While the staff is all kind and doing their best this place has constant issues and is poorly managed. Because of rotating dentists and poor communication they pulled a tooth they didn’t have to and I now have to have my braces on longer because the dentists didn’t communicate plans. I spent a lot of money and was so hopeful when I first came here, now I can’t wait to get these off and never come back.
For the last few years I’ve been a patient, I’ve had nothing but great work done by Crystal especially. She works fast and efficient to the fullest. Shows the upmost pride and passion on every level. There’s times where I’d be having a bad day and if she was there, I’d definitely walk out with a smile on. Thank you Crystal for your cool and friendly vibes!
Maria and the other front office girls are great! The first dentist was so rude to me so I was nervous to go back. The dentist I had today I forget how to spell her name but I believe its Dr. Babar? Was AMAZING!
I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist because i get extremely anxious but Andrea in the front was so nice and made me feel better about my visit. Wendy explained everything so thoroughly and made sure i understood absolutely everything about my visit a couple days ago! i actually enjoyed my visit for the first time!
They will lie to get you in. I was seen because I needed an extraction I got in theu said they were going to pull my tooth then tried to sell me 800 dollars for gum medicine there trying to push and then didnt pull my teeth and scheduled me a month out now here I am in constant pain for over a month because they dont have there stuff together. The dentist said we are going to pull your tooth it needs out today and then next thing I know they were walking me out with an appointment a month out will be contacting there corporate office.

Zero stars.It always takes at the least 2 hours for an appointment every single time. I asked why my son had sat there with nothing done for 30 mins they said because the dentist started on someone else..what the hell it’s been 2 hours why are you double or maybe even triple booking? I pay you good money out of pocket..not insurance,CASH! They don’t do this at my dentist. That’s what we get I guess for deciding to go cheap with braces. For my other two kids we are not going through western dental they are so ghetto here.Cheap braces and even cheaper service.sad.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!!!! They’re telling me they want to take my braces off when I’m missing a bracket and all of my silver bands that go on the 4 back teeth and those back teeth are super crooked still and they wanna take them off when I’m not happy with their work. They need to fix this problem for me because I spent thousands of dollars OUT OF MY POCKET and they don’t wanna fix it. Horrible staff

The hygienists lady is one of the best doctor in this clinic she always treat people with respect in a very educated matter, all the others doctors should learn from her

If you want an appointment here be prepared to give information you would never think a dental office would need. And be prepared to deal with rude and condescending receptionists.I made an appointment prior to my visit today and was suddenly turned away because I didnt have a drivers license on me. (I ordered a replacement drivers license which hasnt arrived yet.) I offered to show them my temporary drivers license and even my birth certificate. But that apparently wasnt good enough. According to the receptionist you absolutely must have a photo ID to be treated here. No exceptions. She also asked Well, are you going to give me your license or not? after I explained the situation, as if I could produce a drivers license out of thin air.I came with my parents who had their licenses and they offered to vouch for me. Still not good enough. Then my dad called my former dentist. They said they didnt have my drivers license on file (Seriously, what dentist does!?) but they could confirm I used to be a patient there. Still not good enough. So long story short, I did not get to see a dentist today. Good thing I didnt need urgent treatment!But wait! This aggravating tale doesnt end here. My parents were seen an hour after their appointments were supposed to be, long after the whole photo ID debacle. To add insult to injury, I wasnt allowed to sit or even stand in the waiting room. At first I assumed I could wait inside until my parents appointments were over. Silly me! I was rudely informed that the waiting room was for patients only. Ok, fine. I got up and walked outside as one of the receptionists continued to call out, Maam! Maam! Are you a patient?I stood outside for a little while before coming back inside. It was hot outside, and I thought maybe they wouldnt mind if I stood inside the waiting room and left the chairs for the patients. I wasnt going to be in there long, I just wanted to get out of the hot sun while I called my sister to come pick me up.This was still unacceptable to them. Before I could even call my sister, a receptionist stormed into the waiting room and said I had to go back outside. She lectured me like I was a misbehaving 5 year old. She said the waiting room must have less than 10 people. I informed her there were only 3 people in the waiting room. She said it I still couldnt be in there. (Even though I was wearing a mask and social distancing.) We argued a little bit before she stompped off. I finally called my sister and needless to say I will never come back to Western Dental!The staff was rude to me the entire time I was there. I was constantly treated like a second class citizen. The receptionist who demanded my drivers license said, I would love to let you stay, but... I dont buy that for a second. I think she just likes feeling superior to others. She kept telling my mom and I, If you dont like it, you can go to another dentist. Thats not much of a threat. We never want to go back there. Would it kill them to treat people with kindness instead of barking orders at them?

This office was so nice and welcoming. The staff in The front was very knowledgeable about the paperwork and I was seen in the back fairly quick. Andrea greeted me as soon as I walked in and I will be returning to this office regularly!

This was my first time coming to this office.The staff at western dental in Turlock is so nice and friendly. Expecially Elizabeth V, the denal manager. I have anxiety about dental offices and she made me feel like family. She was very straightforward and to the point. I wasnt even supposed to be seen today and she said I could be looked at today. Which is so great. I will definitely be back here again, and will be recommending this place to my family and friends.

Disappointed. This company is greatly focused in selling as many products and services to their customers. While scheduling an appointment through the phone, I was questioned whether I needed braces, if I wanted a free consultation, if I knew somebody that needed braces, if I knew someone that wanted to schedule a dentist appointment... I just wanted them to fix my broken filling. After I arrived, the Orthodontist performed x-rays and performed no additional work, in other words, my filling was not going to get fixed that day. This is their plan so that they can bill the insurance two times. I would think that a broken filling is an emergency, which is the main reason I scheduled the appointment. Furthermore, after the consultation and no work being performed I was quoted a ridiculous price which included recommendation from the Orthodontist. A 2k Gingivitis tooth paste was making up majority of the cost, and they made me watch a video advertising this tooth paste, to further convince me to purchase this. After, they ran my credit to ensure that they can add the cost in a payment plan. Completely out of line and unnecessary, a money hungry corporation trying to milk as much as they can from their customers. I will advise family members and friends to avoid this corporation.

CAROL is the best! Had a deep cleaning by Carol today and she made me feel very comfortable and I felt very little pain.
I came in with a very bad tooth pain. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I’d really like to thank Wendy for squeezing me in for an exam. Wait was well worth the service provided. Dr Muhammad helped me and was extremely fast and gentle. I will definitely be returning for the rest of my dental needs.

Western Dental wasn’t the best place i hated the long long waits an staff always got my appointments all wrong, i came back this year to get some work done by them since my dentist isn’t open yet due to Covid an honestly coming back I met Elizabeth i believe she’s the manager or supervisor she’s awesome love her personality an her energy quick to make u smile or speak lol an honestly these 3 visits I’ve had weren’t so bad the wait wasn’t that long so I don’t know if it’s new management or what but so far so good!

I had an appointment that was canceled way prior to my scheduled appointment. They called 5 plus times, emailed me to insure I had canceled, Which I did. I received a bill. They ended up billing me anyway. Never going back there

Made the worst mistake to come here to western Dental for braces. All they care about is collecting your money. They canceled my appointment and didn’t get another till the fallowing month. But yet they want their money. I’ve seen 4 or 5 different dentist during my treatment. The worst service ever. Out of all those only one was good and explained what she was going to do. All the other ones just wrote on the paper and don’t even bother to tell what’s going on. Would definitely NOT recommend anyone here. They took out teeth that shouldn’t of been taken out. NoW I have to go somewhere else to get my teeth fixed. I will be contacting a lawyer. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. If I could give them a -5 I would.

Disappointed with there COVID rules.. I have taken my mother to a dentist in Modesto and we go about once-two times a month for a treatment she’s undergoing and I’m always allowed to wait inside with her or she’s allowed to wait in the waiting room, I’ve taken my sister to a dentist last month in Livingston and we were allowed to wait in the waiting room. I’ve taken my grandma to another dentist in Turlock and we were allowed to wait in the waiting room. But when we come here my grandmother that’s older than 70 isn’t allowed to wait inside and I’m tied down with her so she can wait until they call her inside? I have some important things to do and I asked them how long would it be and if it’s ok if I go to my office really quick and back and she said “if she’s not inside 2 minutes after they call her we are going on to the next patient or you can reschedule”. This is just a ridiculous place. The girls in the front need to be reevaluated, super disrespectful.

This place is the worst place I’ve ever been to I went in there for an appointment it was at 9 o’clock they took over 10 people before they took me that walked in there just for x-rays I’ll would advise them that if they make appointments for people they should make sure that they get those people in at that time because some people have disabilities and can’t handle waiting I also have a disabled child I have to get home to you guys sat there and kept me there for over an hour and a half and I still didn’t get seen took my dollar co-pay back and told you I would go somewhere else this place sucks

Poor customer service inside office. I had all forms of id to prove that I was myself and they wouldnt see me for emergency visit and suggested that I go to the emergency instead of seeing me. I have 5 kids at home and they were ok with me risking mine and my families health by going to the ER instead of just putting fillings in so my teeth are fixed.
I wish there were an option to give zero stars. After checking in for my appointment I was sent to wait outside in the summer sun. After 30 mins I was sweating through my shirt so I sat in my car (parked in the first spot in the lot. With a view of the front door). An hour went by until I got tired of waiting. I walked up to the door and turns out it’s locked and all the lights are off. I see an employee standing at the side door taking a smoke break and the first thing she says to me is “the office will open back up @2, everyone is at lunch”. I can’t explain to you how enraged I felt. nobody came out to get me. Nobody called me. They kept me out here waiting while they all took a lunch break. Completely unprofessional. If my insurance would let me go anywhere else I would without hesitation. This entire corporation is run worse than my niece’s lemonade stand.

This is the worst place I ever seen. Staff is very rude i will never recommend this place to anyone. They just want to earn money they don’t care about patients. My daughter has braces but they don’t treats her well. I was making appointment for my son from last 2 years but they canceled and lastly they said they do not make appointment for kids under 8 years. Specially the Indian lady in orthodontist she doesn’t know how to treat patients.

I never leave reviews, but this one I feel is needed. I will never ever go back to this place unless I am in excruciating pain and need a quick fix. Even then, I would have to consider if its worth it. I went here to have a cavity filled and it was the most traumatizing dental experience ever. First the dentist didnt give the numbing much time to set in before giving me the shot in my mouth which was so painful and i felt through my nerves in my mouth, this was after warning him that i am afraid of needles. I started feeling like i was going to pass out after this. Everything was starting to get dark and blurry, as well as all the noises in the back round getting more faint and further away. I wanted to try and get someones attention to take my blood pressure because i knew it was so low but i couldnt move or talk because i was so weak. I dont know how long i sat there for but i started feeling a little better and I told the dentist what happened and he just dismissed it! He told me its a side effect from the shot. If that is true, then this dentist office is putting people in danger by not telling them to have someone else drive them because they might pass out. I was so upset and scared that this guy was going to hurt me somehow or not consider what I say that i literally started crying. He stopped to ask if I was okay which i just said Yes because i was so upset that i just wanted to get done and out as fast as I could. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless they get dentist who actually care about what they do and the people they are working on.
Do not come here unless you don’t mind long waits and poor service. Truth

I’ve been going to Western Dental for several years now, as I find them to be the best and most economical option for me since I don’t have dental insurance. Every interaction from everyone on the staff has been incredibly professional and pleasant! Booking an appointment is very easy, with plenty of appointment times available to fit my schedule with short in office wait time. Elizabeth, the office manager, always has an upbeat attitude and a friendly smile on her face. She takes the time to thoroughly go over my needs, and what options I have so I can make payments comfortably. My most recent visit was with Dr. Reyes, and he made me feel very comfortable and was very gentle which I appreciated. I highly recommend this office to anyone!
This was a couple years back said they had a dental hygienist on site they did not!! Made me wait about 2 hours. Put others ahead of me that I saw come in a half hour later than I did. Tried to sale me a dental preventive package which was very expensive and would have to pay out of my pocket. I think they were showing partialism putting others ahead of me

I would give 0 stars if that were an option. EVERY time I bring my sister here for Ortho she doesnt get called back until an hour AFTER her appointment time. Then she just sits back there and the actual work they do takes about 20 minutes to change the bands. My mom called to ask after her last appointment when is the BEST time for an appointment because she cant have her younger daughter missing 2.5 hours of school and her older daughter losing 2.5 hours of work for a 20 minute appointment. They assured us a 9 am appointment would get us in on time - well we were here before 9 today and she didnt get called back until 10:11 and thats because we went up to the counter to ask how much longer. Theyve said its due to COVID precautions, its NOT. I had my braces done here about 8 years ago when I was in highschool and it was the SAME. It seems like they over schedule or something? Its so, so frustrating coming here. Also, sometimes it feels like they have ZERO sympathy or empathy for their customers who are missing PAID time for a simple appointment that drags on for hours.
The dental assistant & dentist were patient & proficient in their work, as well as caring in their interactions with me. I recommend their services; however, know that they can have considerable wait times from day to day. Preferably, make an appointment in the morning (and not on Wednesdays) to avoid the backlogging of patients.
