They take way more x-rays then necessary every visit. When I voiced my concern and told them I didn’t want or need this many x-rays they insisted on taking them. My insurance didn’t cover all the x-rays they were insisting I needed and I ended up being charged! I have never had problems with my teeth or even had an cavities… until I came to the dental office. I suddenly had 3 cavities, of which were in the deep part of my molars so I fixed them, but when another dentist at this office told me I had cavities between my teeth I got a second opinion. My new dentist said my teeth have no problems and I have no cavities. THIS PLACE IS SCAMMING YOU! They are just there to take your money. I also had to wait 45min in the chair waiting to get my teeth cleaned. So they also waste your time. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

SUSAN/SUZAN, not sure the correct spelling but she is so rude. She even just looks at you with disgust. She looks at you frowning her eyebrows as if you don’t pay for insurance. I don’t work and get insurance through there, i pay for it. So I’d expect to get a better look than that. And it was not her first time neither. She always looks at me like that, and because of her I won’t be going back!!! Dr Chahal, Letty, and a few others are great. Unfortunately they do not outweigh her vibe.

Highly recommend American Family Dentistry! They helped me out and worked with me when I was having a hard time personally, all staff members are so friendly and compassionate and the work they do is great! As someone who isnt a fan of hospitals or Drs or dentists, I can definitely say that I was completely comfortable and trusting of everything they do..

Came here as an emergency appointment initially. Was referred by my sister. Very clean and followed protocol. Ive come here 3 times since and every single time Ive had a great experience. Felt comfortable with all staff. They are friendly and great with communication. Ive felt welcomed from the moment I first walked in and I will continue to be a client in the future. THANK YOU!

Always passed by the dentist office. I hada tooth that was bothering called to make an appointment. Went in for my appointment and receptionist was very nice. Sat me down to fill out some paper work. When done waited and few minutes was taken to the back and waited for bit. Just say all the ladies that assisted me were wonderful. I had a great time chatting with the lady who took my teeth xrays. I would recommend this dentist office.

The workers are so wonderful and so gentle with their patients. they also make you feel like you are welcomed. i am from sacramento and love the service they give me that i do not hesitate to drive over here.

They hygienist that helped me today is Lilly, she was very nice and so gentle. Friendly staff she was very helpful with guidance on options for fixing problems with my teeth. Overall I’m extremely satisfied with coming here to this dentistry. I’m leaving with a smile I love and enjoy .

I’ve been with American Family Dentistry for years and they are family friendly and great with with all patients, fast and all of my kids are happy to come here as l am too.

I was very impressed with the friendly staff, cleanliness of the office. At each step of the visit each clinician explained what they were there to do. The Doctor was very pleasant to explain and show all his findings with x-rays and pictures. The office manager explained out the case planning and how to proceed forward with procedures.

She gave me the game plan to be successful. No other dental staff in my 27 years have been this awesome. Service is always TOP NOTCH and they actually care about you. It’s like a family which is very important when it coms to sensitive things like your smile. They really work with you financially and don’t condemn you if your teeth aren’t the best. It is going to be 5 years since I’ve had my braces. I see progress and then my teeth shift the way they shouldn’t. They try to fix it and it just won’t work. I see others that got braces after me and their teeth progressed amazingly, and they had worse teeth than mine. It is very frustrating because I am not getting satisfied. Everything is super rushed. The people are very nice and awesome though.

With everything going on right now the last thing you want to do is go somewhere like the dentist where you have to take your mask off and open your mouth.. but let me tell you American Family Dentistry never ceases to amaze me! Their customer service is top notch and always has been for that matter. However, today they eased all my fears by taking my temperature asking several questions related to the virus & any possible symptoms I may be experiencing. As well as cleaned down surfaces after being touched & everyone even the receptionist kept a mask on the entire visit. This is the best place I have gone to for dental treatment. Their customer service is awesome! The knowledge, care, and attention to detail from each Dental Assistant, Hygienist, Dentist, etc is remarkable. They took care of all my questions and concerns within minutes and was out in an 1 1/2 hrs, which is typical for a first time visit. I love how they have a TV right in front of you to not only make you comfortable by watching a show or movie but to see them working on your teeth and look at what theyre seeing, if you choose to. They did a deep cleaning on this visit, which many dental offices dont do on a first visit.I loved the honesty from the Dentist. I look forward to making this the dentist office of choice for my family for years to come.

I had a new crown put in last week. I was pleasantly surprised that they make them in house in about an hour and a half. No return visit necessary the crown fit absolutely perfect and it even has a smoother polished feel than the other crowns in my mouth. Staff is friendly and the business is clean and modern

I’ve been going to see American Family Dentistry for 15plus years. I am very happy with their service beginning from walking into the door until I leave. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The doctors are the best in Turlock. I will never go to another dental office ever again.

I had the new laser technique used for my fillings for a few cavities, and I have to say that Im pleased with how the procedure went. It only took 30 minutes to fill three cavities, and I did not have to have my mouth numbed at all. Overall, no complaints!

The overall environment at American Family Dentistry has always been exceptional! The staff is amazing and always so personable! Even with relocating to Southern California almost a year ago, I havent taken my business elsewhere.Rave: today they used the new Solea laser machine, which replaces having to get numbing shots, and it was fantastic! I have been going to America Family Dentistry since I was about 6 or 7 i am now 27 and still choose to go there. I recommend this establishment too so many friends, family, and coworkers. First you are greeted with a warm welcome and the dental assistance and Dentist are all hands down the best around. I highly recommend them.

Solea is their new machine used to take care of your cavities. It was so great to not be numbed and no SHOTS. Definitely a lot better. I recommend it

I was always afraid of visiting the dentist and I cannot begin to describe how comfortable I feel coming here! Everyone is super friendly from staff to doctor. I feel like I’m really listened to and my concerns are heard.

Came for my appointment today and was surprised to see a new awesome machine. It was used to do my fillings. It replaced the numbing portion, was painless and a lot quicker. I really liked this new tool they have. No needles or numb face for an hour after.

This wasnt my first visit but 5stars again for not having visited in more than a year. Every single staff member from the dental assistant, dental hygienist,the dentist herself, the lady working in billing/appt, and the orthodontist were so knowledgeable and took me into consideration with every step. Im always nervous going to the dentist and I have a lot more work to do but everyone makes me feel comfortable within the circumstances. I know Im in great hands!

I got my braces here, spend a year and a half or so, dental assistants were nice and talked to you. Everyone was friendly! I also got a frenectomy done here, didn’t hurt at all! Also with my retainers, very caring and gentle.
