I was placed on hold for almost 20 minutes trying to inquire a rough estimate of a main logic board repair on my 2019 MacBook Air while still under limited warranty. If it were going to take more than 5 minutes to get back to me, someone should’ve taken my name and phone number down to give me a call back when they were not busy and had time to spare to talk to me about options for my repair. In all honesty, your professionalism needs to be better and quicker to get better sales.....

Absolutely the best computer store I have ever visited. I was from out of town. Walked in 30 minutes before they closed to remove some data from an old IDE hard drive. The owner was very accommodating, professional, knowledgable. Ill be back when Im in town for sure.

I went in to look at laptops computers the staff was most informative and took time to answer my questions. They were really nice and eager to help me in anyway they could.

Selling a graphics card at double the msrp price is scalping and/or supporting scalping thus not fairly serving customers that a looking for computer hardware. If they are buying these card near that price point then they are contributing to scalping which creates an even worse situation. Companies who are over charge or paying outrageous prices for hard to find hardware and not ethical.

These guys that work here are just the most polite people! You couldnt ask for better service. My Wife & I had been wanting to build our own gaming computer and we found them! I went to Computer Universe for some guidance or/advice as I recently chose to purchase and upgrade an older MacBook. I ran into an obstacle and took it to a “professional” business that was listed as certified to work on MacBook’s. Had I known from the get-go that all they would do was uninstall the upgrades I had made and reinstall (incorrectly) the old parts, I would not have left my computer with them. I never received any calls while it was in their possession to say this was their intention, as it was not mine when leaving it with them. I could easily have done as much myself. I would suggest that you communicate with your client what your intentions are and see if they match theirs! I am furious since I basically paid to have the old parts shoddily put back and had to remove and correctly reinstall them myself. When I tried calling the store to report this issue, it went to an automatic service that asked for an extension which I entered, from there it continually rang and I never spoke to an actual person. The customer service was poor to mediocre at best. I will never trust them to look at another computer or device.

I have had 3 systems built by these guys and the service during and more importantly after the sale has been awesome. My latest 2020 system built for me is a top notch gaming system and it is a beast. I have found the staff and tech support to be helpful and have a great sense of humor. For this grandmother gamer Computer Universe offers superb local sales and service for my geeky techy inner child.

I called to get an estimate about the charge port on my iPad Pro. The pricing seemed pretty reasonable (similar to what Apple quoted me) and I was keen to have it locally repaired with a quicker turnaround UNTIL I was told that “if there is damage done to the screen you will have to pay for that to be repaired, but you don’t have to have it fixed if it’s just cracked and still functions. You could just use it like that. But I’m pretty sure I could get the screen off without damaging it.” I give this three stars because I’ve never utilized their services, but was in total shock that if damage is done at their hands (I did clarify this twice) I would be responsible for the covering repairs out of pocket. GTFO.

Good place to go to get those specialty computer items when you cant wait for online shipping. They cost a bit more than online shops of course, but their staff is very knowledgeable which may save you a lot of hassle by getting the correct item the FIRST time. I know they sell complete systems as well, but Ive never used their services for a system build. In Tupelo, youll be hard pressed to find another computer store aside from Best Buy, and Best Buy doesnt have the knowledge or individual components.

Helped me tremendously with my rig

Computer hard drive was not recoverable. I am talking with them about a computer to run new software but download to an older laser engraver. Software and cable connection issues. Computer Universe will assist me in solving the issues.

Last fall, I was driving all over the country. My laptop was full of pics and videos from the trip. I was in Tupelo when I accidentally deleted the folder that held all of these memories. Needless to say, I was panicking . I found these guys and they recovered all of my priceless files. They were kind, helpful, and just plain nice. I believe that they charged $91 for the service, and it took a few hours. I can not recommend them enough. Oh how I wish that I had a shop like Computer Universe near my home in California. Give them your business. You wont regret it.
