I was very satisfied with my Budget car rental! The staff was very friendly, George went above & beyond to help! The SUV I rented was great for our trip & clean as well! The after hour drop off was very easy & convenient! Ill definitely use Budget again!

Very nice staff, friendly and very knowledgeable. Reserved online but would have been able to do so in person. Vehicle was clean and nice, made for enjoyable vacation to Indianapolis.

Reserved a rental van to go out of town April 23rd-25th and was quoted a price online ( around $400 total). Was never told there would be a $300 deposit which I was told I would get it back. After picking up the van that morning they charged me a total of $770. The van needed an oil change because it kept showing up oil change required the entire trip. Windshield wipers didnt work right. Then after the van was returned they claimed the gas tank wasnt full when it was returned. My husband filled it up at a gas station about 15 miles from the rental place. They only reimbursed us $259 toward the deposit. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I RENT A VEHICLE FROM THEM!!!!! THEY ARE A FRAUD!!!!

Most of the time I am satisfied with them but not this time. I had an emergency come up with my granddaughter where she had to be hospitalized and they showed no sympathy at all. They charged me for 4 extra days when I was only late 2 days. They said that the deposit was only a hold but they processed it.

Terrible customer service but only option at the airport in Tupelo. Repeatedly claimed damage, missing keys, or missing parts weeks after return of vehicles when employees werent there to accept vehicle return of both box trucks and car rentals. They have twice not had vehicle type reserved available.

Terrible service. How can a corporation allow ratchet hood rats to run this “business”. If you can get anyone to answer the phone, they have bad attitudes. The workers are usually not at the counter. Place needs to be shut down.

Be careful renting from this location, especially a one-way. We booked on a Sunday afternoon and showed up at 8:30am (30 min after opening) after driving 45 min to get there. They said that there were no cars available (had prepaid and had a confirmation number) and that they were sorry and there was nothing they could do. Stated that they would have called to let us know but we booked on a Sunday and they are closed. Complete waste of our time! Mind blowing idea....rental locations need to constantly update their inventory of what they have available (even on Sunday) to show what is actually available and not let someone book & pay for a car that isnt there.

Only place I found a vechicle for one way rental. Both ladies were very nice and courteous.

I had a reservation to pick up a truck at 7 30pm, they close at 5 pm. Why do they even allow to make reservations to pick up after they close? No one called to say anything. Its ridiculous

They was outrageous prices for a rental had the car only 20 days they charged me 1723 outrageous $61.99 per day its because there was a shortage on rental cars they Jack the prices up

Sheila was very helpful in renting my SUV. She was so nice and very easy to talk to. Would use Budget again.

The people on the phone booked me a car that wasnt available. Because of that I got a 2019 dodge Durango for the price of a compact car. Book online or on the phone, they can offer better deals than the counter. If paying with a debit card bring a utility bill and bank statement!!

I have rented with Budget before and every time, there is some sort of resistance. I work out of town, so when I do rent a vehicle it is for work, not pleasure. There are so many rules. Online said the deposit was $80 with a prepaid reservation (I read the terms 3 times). When I got there, my card was swiped before I was informed that the deposit was actually $150. Since I have that card only for car rentals and travel emergencies (and I anticipated only an $80 hold) it went over my max and declined. I was then informed that my card could not be run again for 24 hours. The customer service number that he gave us was disconnected. I called the corporate number and had my rental cancelled. The prepaid amount (that I had paid online) was not immediately refunded nor was it refunded in the 24 hour period told to me. This prevented me from using my card elsewhere. This put our whole family in a bind because I had to use our only family vehicle to travel to my job. The corporate customer service supervisor didnt attempt to retain me as a customer either. Something could have been done, but was not. I will not be using Budget again.

I have to say the employees of Budget in Tupelo were so helpful in resolving my issues to help me thru my difficult circumstances. They were so friendly, professional and helpful AND they were able to solve MY problems in such a caring manner.

I have been renting from this location for over 10 years. I could not ask for more responsive and exceptional service. The team there is excellent and make you feel at home.

When you rent a car online from here, you cannot expect to get what you’re looking for. You better call in advance to make sure they even have a car Or you might not get one! I rented a truck and online it said they had a truck to rent, but when I got there they did not have a truck and they said they did not have my number to call me to tell me they didn’t have one, and I was not asked for a phone number when I rented the truck online!! How is that my problem? Get your online rental page in order budget. I Waisted my whole morning because their online rental page didn’t ask for enough information so they could inform me they didn’t have the vehicle I needed! Thanks for nothing!

The website dosent say anything about having 2 Bills and no po box. Driving an hour away and theres no way they can help, only how sorry they are. Highly unprofessional and dont have any type of customer satisfaction!

Easy process thru & thru, plus we got a great price to drive our stuff from Vegas to Mississippi!! I do wish there had been cruise control, power windows and locks...but the aux port for my music was nice to have. Roadside assistance was easy too, when I locked the keys in the cab. 🙄 If I move again, I will definitely use Budget again!!

Waited 25 minutes for both employees to come back from getting fast food. Had a scheduled pick up and there was no one at the counter. Three other customers came and left. The vehicle picked up was covered in dirt. Gravel was in the back of the truck. Additionally the truck seems poorly maintained, pulls hard to the right, and doesnt have cruise control. Ill stick to UHAUL next time.

The car was very nice however we were not told in advance that we would need two proofs of residency when renting a car. So this delayed our trip over an hour. Also the car was not filled completely up when we got it. Not to mention the $300 hold put on our card which has yet to be refunded. I would not recommend this location at all.

WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED CAUSE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ME A VAN AND NEVER HAD IT WHEN I GOT THERE. ALSO THEY CHARGED ME MORE THAN WHAT I WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE

I went to pick up my car and had to walk all the way across the airport parking lot because the only person on duty was washing a truck. I had to wait for him to finish before I could check out my car. The car I got was compact when my reservation was for a midsize but thats all they had available. I got a late start and left sweating because I had to go find someone to wait on me. Budget needs to allow for more staffing at this location or limit its availability. Also having a HORRIBLE time trying to get a receipt for my company expense report. (guess they are washing cars again)

I would not recommend this location! Ron called to confirm my reservation and was very rude. I rented there before and had no problems but this time was totally different.

I reserved a vehicle online to use for 7 days, had received an email confirmation. Budget called me about an hour before I was to pick up my vehicle and told me that it was not available. When I asked what was available she said nothing we dont have anything. She did not offer me any options and I told her to just cancel it. She just said ok and that was it. Very unprofessional and rude.

This place is an embarrassment to the automobile rental industry,I had 5 family members fly in for my wife’s surgery,I had already paid in advance for a 7 passenger vehicle,Vehicle was not there with no accomadations,Due to the fine service of Budget in Tupelo,Ms Two of her family members that flew over 12 hours to be with Her thru these stressful times were not able to be with her.There was two available dodge caravans on location that would have been perfect, the older woman would not rent one or let upgrade without talking to my insurance company,last pay stub from my employer,a latest paid utility bill,2 photo ID’s,we live over an hour away and this was on a Sunday and we had room reservations that night five hours away where the surgery is going to take place,to top it off a woman behind me in line had the same problem, Thank You Budget for the stress and anxiety attack!

Weird rental agency, which I guess is a branch of a Memphis franchise. Ive rented many, many cars in my lifetime. Only at the Tupelo Budget do they grill you about who you are, where youre going, why youre going there, etc. For that reason I think Ill just call Enterprise the next time I need to rent a car.
