This place has been amazing during difficult times and my family needed some food. The food they give out is normal things you eat on a regular basis. Great food and great people

Their team is always there for the community. They are very helpful. The bible study was alittle boring. Need someone with more experience...to get peoples attention....to be involved with the message for that day. You know, life experiences, to relate to the community.

Fever good place

Everyone is so friendly, and I love browsing through the thrift store. Since all proceeds go to the food pantry, I make it a point to go every week. The prices are fair, and I feel good knowing Im supporting such a wonderful community resource.

I went here to get some food to last until I got my social security money. They have a lunch if you get there before 10:45, then you sit and listen to a short message from pastor Bob. After that they bring out a rack of bread and one of sweets, you go to the window to get a sack of groceries. It usually contains rice,pasta, canned goods, a meat, and a dozen eggs. You get enough for 2 or 3 days and the volunteers are friendly and helpful if you need help carrying something to your car.

Great place for emergency grocery help.

I am very, very thankful for thier help. I appreciate it and its a good place to go. The service is nice and everyone there is really nice. But, my family and I were given milk that expired 4 days before we got it. Same with the orange juice. And the bread was moldy underneath I didnt see. Most of any of the food was already dayscor longer way past the expiration date. Im sure some would not care, but it can make people sick to eat spoiled food. But I know its in good intention. Other food banks Ive been to havent given spoiled food. Again, I am so appreciative. But I dont care how bad things get. I wont feed my kids spoiled food that will make them sick.

Help single people only not families in need. Wish they did, pray one day they do. Turned me away from a hot meal & groceries due to having my child with me. I have no one to watch him but myself, so its not entirely helpful. God bless this place.

Used to go to Church here. Does not cater to children very well.They also have a charity & give food to people in need. Will not help women with children for some reason, not sure why. Im guessing the church does not have the facilities to help or service children either if you attend the church or ask for services.

To turn away people for not speaking your language is disgusting. You should be ashamed.

From Bob Ritz: An acquaintance and Facebook friend of mine recently had a negative experience with a local organization called Loaves and Fishes at 11321 East 19th Street here in Tulsa. It is somehow connected to something called the School of the Local Church. My friend and her two daughters have just returned from Honduras and she went to Loaves and Fishes to enroll her children in the organizations Christmas gift giving program. A number of Hispanic women were in line and were refused service because they didnt have a good command of English. My friend, who is bilingual, offered to translate for them but was told by a minister there that the organization only served people who spoke English! I urge you not to donate to this organization this holiday season.

They feed my mother sister girlfriend and me today when I was in need I felt the stress lifted off my shoulders when I sat down and ate a bowl of soup then went home with lots of groceries these people are a blessing and Im very grateful they provided for my family when I unfortunately couldnt

If you in need they got youre back you can go there for breakfast they really help when in need.

The hours for fishes and loaves are now changed for the food pantry. Mon- Tues and Fri- Sat.Today is Thursday so there is a womans bible study group.

Their kindness and generosity are unequalled. They do their best to ensure everyone who enters is helped.

This place is great if you need food but dont have the money for it they are a Christian based organization that loves to help out those who are down on their luck
