Pleasant staff. The only issue I had with this place as well as other barber shops is that when you make a appointment it doesnt allow you to pick you barber. So when you arrive you dont get the new inexperienced barber. New barber should not be a new guest first experience in your shop. Also I know they have rent but $35 for a new barber to give me a disappointing hair cut is not good. I saw the reviews but how many people feel the same and do not leave a review.

This is definitely one of the best barber shops Ive been to in years. James is our all time favorite barber. My son and I love how he cuts his hair. Always very friendly and greets us with a smile. Nice clean line up and trim is always on point. We recommend him for anyone that needs a cut, adult or kid. You wont be disappointed

I made an error scheduling my cut and walked in 3 days before my appointment. James didn’t mind one bit, gave me the best fade I’ve ever had and got it done within15 minutes. The other barbers were all very and the atmosphere was on point!

I found Tavia due to my hair being really messed up! I came from a very unprofessional lady who attempted to twist my hair and was very unprofessional! She had my hair extensions all messed up and uneven! When i arrived at tapered barber shop not only was Tavia very nice and professional and very patient with me, but she managed to fix all of the issues I’ve had with my hair all in one visit! After my hair visit with her when I got home I absolutely loved everything she did and how my hair turned out in the end after she was finished working on it! She is the best hair person I have seen especially when it comes to hair!!! Seeing how good she did on my hair for the past 2 visits actually made me very excited to come back! Tavia was very polite and is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! She is such a pro when it comes to twisting especially, and I am so blessed I met such an amazing person that does such a good job with hair!! I cannot wait for my next visit!

I found tapered online while looking for a new barber. I had consistently gone to the same barber for over 3 years and they almost doubled the prices out of no where. I was nervous because a good hair cut it hard to come by. Especially after you hadn’t had to worry about it for 3 years.I set up an online appointment with James and I couldn’t be happier. The process was very easy, I was able to pay before I got there and not have to worry about going to get cash. James does a very great job and is focused on giving a better hair cut each time. I feel comfortable trying new cut styles and voicing my opinion.He never takes offense to it which shows me his goal is to make sure my cut is how I want it. I usually go to my regular barber but he was booked so I looked up barber shops in Tulsa and Tapered was on the top of the list and for a good reason too, James is a real OG with the clippers, had a great conversation, awesome cut, and great price. Definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for a haircut. On top of everything I booked the same day which is real hard to come by theses days.

I took my oldest son who is 14 and my Nephew who is 24 there... the guys who were there were amazing... they did us good... the beautiful Ms. Pam came in and she did a awesome job on mine. Ive been taking my son faithfully to the same barber since we moved back two years ago, and put up with a lot. I gave up when we arrived early for an appointment scheduled a week prior, and after 45 minutes past due we left. I scheduled an appointment at Tapered for 3 p.m. At 3 p.m. my son was in the chair. No cursing. No beers. No weed smell, no smoking. No vulgarities. Diverse staff, diverse clientele. One barber offered a little boy a book to read while he got his hair cut (it was declined but he tried.) My kid looks great and has ASKED to make that his regular shop. Well be back! Still great!
