Best haircut Ive ever had hands down.If youre a man looking for a haircut by other manly men, this is the barbershop for you.Has the smell, feel and sound of a old fashioned barbershop. I was greeted to the sound of The Andy Griffith Show on a small black and white TV and Ive been going back ever since.

First and foremost I’m going to state if you aren’t willing to pay for the quality of hair cut you get here then you’re obviously not serious about your barber. For the price the overall experience has not only been EXACTLY what I look for in a barber shop experience, they’ve kept me laughing and smiling during a pandemic. They’re clean, fast and professional so no needs to worry about it being a walk-in only shop. Seriously if you want to keep the wife happy, impress your boss or just change your overall appearance don’t hesitate to stop by this local staple.

I have been coming to Fords Barbershop for a couple years. Always satisfied with their work. I take my son there and we both get taken care of well. Standard haircut is $25. Be aware, they are cash only.

I’ve been getting a razor fade every 2 weeks from Chris at Fords for over 3 years now. Every two weeks I go and have never had a bad haircut, shave or line up from him. All the barbers at Fords are top notch. I’ve tried other shops, Fords is by far the best shop with the best atmosphere. If you want a clean, great haircut for a reasonable price, this is the place to go.

The only issue is they dont take appointments. When you go in sign up on the board and that saves you a spot. If the board is full they will probably turn you away. I prefer Chris, but all three barbers are good and give a good cut.

Awesome barber shop! Not a salon. I repeat, not a salon. Several of the other barber shops in the area require an appointment. When they go to that extent, youve become a salon. Pricing here was a little high but worth it because the attention to detail was on point. Beard trim was also very good. If your looking for a conversation and a great hair cut, this is your spot. If your looking for overly friendly, trendy and an appointment to get cut, this is not for you. I will absolutely be back on my next trip.

My husband was googling for barber shops and this was suggested. We were so pleased with everything. The line was long and we were told we could wait or try back later, we decided to wait and enjoy the shop. It was so cool to watch all the different cuts, techniques, and the straight razor cuts! If you have time this is definitely worth the wait!! They take cash only so be prepared for that! We had no complaints what so ever! Was going to get our 2-1/2 year old sons hair cut but he decided he didn’t want to so we just watched daddy get pampered with a beard trim and straight razor shave on his head! Will definitely be going back for years to come!!

THE barber shop to go to in Tulsa. There are now others. Best cuts in town and the coolest cats giving them. Only small drawback is that it can be busy and a bit of a wait, but the atmosphere makes the wait very doable. Hands down, BEST shop in Tulsa.

At first. I was a little nervous and skeptical. I hadnt been to a different barber in 10 years. But the thing was is I was in a hurry and I needed a haircut. I looked this place up and it happened to be close to a place I was already traveling to, so I thought What the hell, why not? I would have gone to my regular barber, but they are closed on Mondays. I originally thought it would be a high fashion high dollar type of place. I drove past it without realizing it twice before I finally looked it up again. Once I got parked and walked in I felt like I had just walked into a barbershop from the 50s. Just my kind of place. The barbers were great people, the style and feeling was great. But that doesnt matter at a barbershop. How well can they cut hair? Just a regular haircut is what I needed. Called for a four on top and a one on the sides, and he went to work. I was impressed that they used metal blades on their clippers, something I hadnt seen in awhile. If you asked for plastic, they were happy to oblige. After shaping and finishing, he spun me so he could see the line to make sure it was even, which also impressed me. After I said I liked the haircut, he grabbed a straight razor and shaved the back of my neck and around my ears. He finally concluded with a hot towel which was something j wasnt used to, but thoroughly enjoyed. I found out that it all cost $18 for that regular haircut. As a man who hasnt paid a dime over $10 for the past 10 years, I can honestly say I was a but surprised at first, but for me, it was worth every penny.

This is a barber shop. Dont call for an appointment. Dont come in for a brow wax. Dont expect a neck massage. What you will get is a classic, consistent hair cut from a top notch barber at a fair price. Mark has done a great job of bringing back a piece of Americana with vintage furnishings, hot rod & rock n roll decor, and three of the finest antique barber chairs in Tulsa County. If there is a wait, dont worry. The conversation is always good.

Best time to go is a couple hours after they open. If you go first thing in the morning there will be a line. If you wait until closing time you might get turned away. Great haircuts. Great atmosphere. Friendly, but not too friendly (this is a mens barber shop after all). I like it.

If you want the classic barbershop experience, come to Fords. They offer reasonable prices along with high quality service. To tell you a bit about their barbers, they have to go through an internship program before they can become a full-time Ford Barber. I won’t go anywhere else in Tulsa to get a cut.

This is my kind of Barber Shop. Nothing fancy, just some guys with beards that know what theyre doing. You dont need an appointment which I like. Maybe Ive just been lucky but Ive never had much of a wait. Its the only place I trust with my beard. This was previously a five star review but Im changing that. I drive 45 minutes for a beard trim because I like this place. A few weeks back I walked in at 1:12 on a Saturday only to be turned away because they close at 2:00. Its your business and you have every right to run it the way you want. As a return customer I was not impressed and do not plan to come back. Im not sure how you know when they actually stop taking customers. Show up early is all I can suggest.

I showed up at the barber shop 40 minutes before they closed after driving all the way across town and as I was opening the door to walk in seconds after another customer just walked in they told me they were not taking anymore.... inconsiderate. Dont put that you close at 6 if your not going to allow people at 520.

Fords = Great haircuts with weak hours... 9-3?... Most people have to work during those hours, and Saturdays are swamped! I wish they were open until 5 or 6! I consistently have to settle for the likes of Supercuts or a similar chain barber for this reason...Although the hours suck, you will always get a great cut when you come here. These guys are good at what they do and it shows. They take their time on each customer and assure that everything is symmetrical and looks good. In my opinion, there is not a better shop in town, and if it wasnt for the hours that dont work well with many peoples schedules I wouldve given Fords Barbershop a 5 star rating!

They cut hair well. They are always too busy. 3 hours for a haircut is insane. They close their doors well before the posted available hours on their doors. I would sooner cut my own hair with a rusty knife. It would be much quicker and convenient.

Third strike and Im out for good. Two other bad experiences and this was the last straw. Needed to get a haircut for my son, so we headed to Fords. Not one of the three barbers that were cutting hair acknowledged myself and kids when we walked in, although they all looked up when we came in. Since there were three barbers all with customers and only one ahead of me sitting down in chairs, I figured wed have a seat and be up shortly. Time passes and 5 more people come in with no acknowledgement and no sign in sheet. After 30min, one barber finally finished a cut and announces to the room that he needs a 5min smoke break. He casually picks up his area, washes his hands like a surgeon and heads out back to get his nicotine fix. The person in front of me in line promptly gets up and walks out, clearly angered. Barbers watch him go and say nothing. Second man checks his watch and leaves. Finally, one of the two remaining barbers finishes and a business man with expensive shoes and watch who came in after us jumps in the chair and starts to get hair cut. We got up and left to go someplace that wants our business. As a 50yr old man, Ive spent lots of time in true Old School barber shops. This LOOKS like one, but dont be fooled. This is a place for Hipsters and Salesmen to go get a style cut and feel cool. If you want to have your hair cut by rude, prima-donna stylists who feel that their time and convenience is more important than the customers, this is the place for you.

Moved from Kansas City over a year ago and i have been looking for a good place to cut my hair, found Fords Barber Shop on google and gave it a chance since then i have been there twice and have had a haircut by two different barbers, they surpassed my expectations, both times the cut was on point, it was done without a rush, the shop is very clean and well kept, and they put very good music on from sinatra to big band swing. They also have pomeade supply at there shop. This is the best in town, and i have finally found a place after a year of searching that gives good haircuts!!

I never write reviews,Im pretty easy to please and I generally like to give most companies the benefit of the doubt. But Fords Barbershop was so rude to me over the phone that I feel compelled to write this. Maybe they were having a bad day, and Im sure the hair cuts are great, but I was genuinely shocked that any company who actually wants new business would take such a rude tone with a potential customer.I called in to see if I could walk in to get a haircut and am kindly greeted with warm sarcasm: Yeah this is a barber shop... you called a barber shopI asked what time they closed and he said 5:30, and there are... at which point he proceeds to count aloud the number of people waiting. He finishes up with a sarcastic Soooo, yeah. Thanks guys, I was aware that I had indeed called a barber shop.I think ill be calling a different one.
