There is a certain amount of stress going on when you contact Hanson and Hanson. I was frazzled, panicked, and just overwhelmed with life at that point. My initial call was with Michelle. She worked with my schedule to make sure I didnt miss too much work, and had me in within a few days. My initial meeting was with Anna. We discussed the circumstances of my being there, there was no judging on her part. She listened, offered her point of view, and generally eased a good portion of my anxiety. I was given a package to complete, and informed on how to get it back to them, should I choose to utilize their firm.I did take some time to think about everything going on. When I decided it was time, I completed the package, and submitted it. Within a couple days I had my meeting with Michelle. She is an absolute ray of sunshine. Her personality is bright and colorful, just like her clothes hehe. Again, I was treated as a human being, and not cattle being led to slaughter. We walked through all of the paperwork, to make sure everything was correct. From there, most of the action occurred on their end. I was routinely kept up to date on the process. The best part, for me at least, was that whenever I had a question, they had an answer. I was never given the run around, never made to feel like an annoyance (and I can be pretty annoying), and was put at ease with their thorough responses.As things progressed, I was kept up to date. Made an appointment with Ana a week before and settled for 5pm on a Tuesday. I had to take my 11 month old baby and walked in to the reception area at 5:05pm and there was no receptionist. Waited for 25 minutes and decided to call her and she said she had left at 5:20 because she didnt see me. I asked if she had come to the front reception area and she said no. I told her I had been sitting there for 25 minutes. She said she was sorry and she had already picked up her daughter and was going to have to reschedule. She never called me to ask if I was there. She never came to the reception area. She does not need new business.
