I went to the dealership for an airbag light and was shocked at how much they quoted ($8,000). Lazar was able to work with me to obtain a used seat which worked perfectly and cost way less. The staff was very friendly and they did a great job contacting me throughout the process.

A great mechanic. They specialize in japanese made cars. They are fast and reliable and communicate very thoroughly and up front. They go above and beyond to be covid-19 safe! They even spray down the inside of your car with a cleaning solution before returning it to the owner.

Came by to have some things inspected, they did a great job at being very forward on some issues and cut me a deal, later I took it back to have the seal work done and it’s still holding up great so far with now leaks other than a couple others. Will be back to have more maintenance. Quality work, good customer service.

She told me that my transmission needed to be replaced and gave me the number to her transmission guy. The code was p1778 on a Nissan Altima 2011. Very common problem. 35 dollar step motor and a little bit of elbow grease was the answer this business tried hide from me. I was told to fork over 4 thousand dollars. I will never call them for advice nor will I utilize them for repairs. Piss poor integrity.

For my wifes Honda and my Subaru Lazar Imports is the the only place I go. I have tried the others, but they are slow and unsure. Lazar imports is reasonable, proficient, easy-to-get-to, and has one-day service in almost every situation. The mechanical and trim work they did on my grandsons Infinity was also thorough and cost less than we had supposed it would.

From the second you interact with Lazar, you can tell they know their stuff. They operate with kindness, fairness, and transparency. I wont go anywhere else!

I went to Lazar for 10 years and never had an issue with their service. I ended up buying a used car from them, which broke down the first time I drove it. After having it towed to them, they claimed to have fixed it, but charged me for fixing it. I drove off a second time and it broke down again. I told them they should fix it because they claimed it was perfect when they sold it to me. Not only did they sell me a lemon, charge me to fix it, not really fixing it at all, the receptionist, Jerry, made a very vulgar remark about my family. Dont ever go here.

SO long story short, diagnosis of my car says tuneup new brakes one new strut. $1100 and they say its good and fixed, day later car breaks down again. i take it back, this time diagnosis says cam sensor 200-300(not sure dont have my receipt in front of me) another day later breaks down again. THis time im mad and call and leave a very strong message. 1200-1300 dollars and my car isnt fixed. you can understand the frustration. Well they call and tell me if i bring my car down there they will tow it, and if i call again they are gonna sue me for harassment. WTH? I mean seriously 1300 dollars and you cant take an angry call? Take it to the dealer and they say they cant even pull diagnostics on the car, so one of two things. Lasar was either guessing and not really getting diagnostics, or they messed up the diagnostics. Either way turns out the problem was a 200 dollar part that i installed myself. nice diagnosis, 1300 dollars for nothing, 200 dollars to fix.

I took our vehicle to Lazar because it was overheating. They told us that it needed a new engine and that it would cost $6,000 for a used engine. I took the car to another mechanic; all it needed was a radiator and a flush—a few hundred dollars. Lazar charged me to look at the vehicle and tried to sign me up for a $6,000 engine I didnt need. DO NOT GO THERE!
