I might emphasize that the young lady they have managing the establishment at 6:00 PM today, Friday, sets a simply amazing tone for this business. The cleanest laundromat I’ve ever been to. The staff is always friendly and helpful if you have any questions. I’ll usually see them cleaning something at lease once while I’m there which is more than I can say for other laundromats that I’ve been to. I’ve been solely going here since August last year.

The place is clean and the attedant was very nice and helpful.2.75 for a top load washers too expensive. She said it is because they use more water.As nice as it is, I wont go back. Its not a good value for my dollar.

Northgate laundromat is a pretty nice and clean place to do your laundry, the attendees are relatively nice, the washers are also clean and pretty reasonable. I like the place.

We really like this place as its clean, covid-19 aware, and mask compliant!! Also they are friendly and helpful!! Another plus is they have newer machines that are well taken care of and always work correctly!! There are several different capacity sized washers to choose from as well as large 2 or 3 load driers!! They are open 7a- 10p in the Northgate Plaza on the North east corner of Grant & Alvernon streets on the east side of plaza near the Subway sandwich place!!We really like this place and think you will too!! Decent laundry with wifi, bathroom and an attendant on duty

Very clean, reasonably priced, quite, safe and well staffed. Owner/ manager often on site.

Its a nice Laundromat. Lots of washing machines and dryers, although the majority are on the older side. The biggest ones are brand new and modern. They provide free Wi-Fi and a punchcard (10 loads = 1 free load) so I keep coming back for that. It smells strongly of vinegar however, because the employees use vinegar to sanitize the surfaces. Its docked 1 star because it bothers my nose greatly. If they change to normal cleaning supplies Ill add it back on (Ive been going here since before the outbreak too, so its not because of a shortage.) They have an ATM here as well but I tend to go to the Dollar Store next door if I need more change. Its convenient, close where I live and affordable, so I would recommend you take advantage of that punch card and free wifi XD

Although the laundromat is clean and the staff is helpful I find it shocking that they don’t require masks. I didn’t realize this until I was leaving and about seven people walked in without masks.Thank goodness while I was there doing my laundry the people that were in there were wearing masks. but I won’t be back

Did my laundry there this morning lady working there wasnt wearing a mask for virus protection no mask restriction or covid 19 precautions being followed ! There must be different management since I was last there even notice some homeless people hanging out there use to be a nice place to do laundry ! 😬

NOBODY IS WEARING A MASK not even the employees!! this makes me very uncomfortable I would happily continue going here if everyone at least wore a mask. Disgusting and unsafe.

Owners, workers, and plenty of customers do not wear masks and congregate in close groups, talking for long periods while clothes wash/dry. Small place, so masks are even more important in this setting. I used to love this place, but the blatant disregard for safety measures is disgusting. Not okay!

Love this place!One of the best Ive ever been to.

They use to clean the machines regularly, now cleaning is opening the dispenser lids and the doors on washers. Cleaning the lint filters once a day. They wipe nothing down masks are not required, no limit on how many people are in the laundromat. Clothes have been strained and ruined from machines, washers as well as dryers. The only thing they have going for them is polite employees and 8 larger washers.

Always clean, always an attendant on duty. Prices seem pretty inline with every place else.

Yesterday I visited the Northgate Laundry. Glenn, the owner was so helpful. I had two sleeping bags to wash. He showed me the correct machines to use and the sleeping bags turned out so clean. This place was also so clean and bright. How good to find this friendly, helpful place.!

Nice & clean. Plenty of well maintained machines. It was a hot day but the evaporative cooling system they use was keeping the place tolerable. Huge parking lot. Wednesdays they have $1 wash, but its a specific 5 machines and cold wash only. I would definitely return.

Best laundromat in town. Plenty of washers for whatever load you need done, even quilts and blankets. Great wash and fold service available.

Nice laundromat, everything looks clean, staff is friendly and helpful. I used their wash and fold service which I probably wont do again since it is too expensive for me. However, I can recommend the service if one does not mind the cost. My laundry was returned clean, neatly folded and put in a plastic bag.

The staff is very nice and very helpful ...lots of machines the dryers work great as long as you dont put too much cloths in one single dryer ...its 25 cents for 8 minutes so you can spread out to dry alot faster .... and they do have snacks for kids or even your self ... and filbertos is withing 2 minutes walking in case your really hungry ... Walmart and dollar tree are also in the shopping center ... all and all this is great place to do laundry

I did a load here. Washers work good, but dryers not so good. The A/C wasnt working and I was very uncomfortable. Also kids were walking around without supervision and the mom was somewhere else in the laundromat. Wont be back.

It used to be reasonable to wash there went in today and the prices too high. The attendant says prices are high every where and that isnt true. They will lose more customers badly. If there were more washers and dryers at my complex I would wash there at least the prices are a whole $1.25 cheaper. To wash and dry.

There is always someone on duty who is friendly and they are pretty much always cleaning. They also just got a bunch of big new machines about a month ago. So nice there!

Employees here do not follow nor enforce Pima County Health Department mask guidelines.

I have to say, this place is nothing like what I expected. Absolutely topped every expectation I had and more. This place is like walking into 5 star dining for your laundry. The lovely lady at the front, Clarice, is just down right fantastic in every way. The Mary Poppins of laundry mats. I was very delighted to walk into the unexpected and come out happy.

I have been happily using Northgate Laundry for many years, and have seen it change owners, and still offer superior facilities and service. With free WiFi, cable TV in the sitting area, plenty of laundry carts to move, hang and bring your clothes to your car, and good prices on the machines( which are kept up and clean), I now drive considerably farther from my new address to use Northgate because they are that good.They also offer full wash and fold/hanger service ( pay by the pound)for a reasonable price. There is a public restroom, machines for every size of laundry, and a full time staff member present during all business hours.The only change I can see the new owners made, was the decor has been updated. Otherwise its excellent service as usual.

Crazy expensive and nobody, customers or staff, wear masks. They dont take customers health seriously so they lost my business for good.

The machines wash well and dry fast. Here you can wash and dry in an hour total. Obviously if you use a low heat cycle it will take longer but the dryers run hot enough on the whites cycle to dry fast and sanitize. The owners care and they are ethical: they dont shorten the cycles when they run specials. A lot of other places will reduce water and heat during specials so you end up paying more and staying longer.Ask about their punch cards - its actually a good deal.

They even offer punch cards for free wash and 1.00$ washers on Tuesdays. The staff always make me feel welcome and safe and pleasant place to do your laundry.

Nice place, clean and well maintained. A person cleans the dryer lints and also the place all the time. Lot of options with different load sizes. Price is competitive with any other laundromat. Some of the washing machines seem not cleaned properly, hence 4 star.

Was here for help with laundry from St Phillips church. God bless them for there generosity. We washed and almost dried our comforters ourselves. Being 35* out tonight and our blankets partially damp, the owner helped us out. I dont know his name but he is a good man. God blees him too. I will bring my laundry here from now on!

Worst laundromat ever!! Moldy washing machines. I had to scope out several machines to find one that didn’t have visible black mold—a major health hazard. On top of that the machines ruined over 100 dollars worth of clothes.Tons of lint and other debris in washers. Nightmare! They tried to tell me it was from my clothes and that I mixed them wrong. I’ve been doing laundry for decades; I know what I’m doing. And, yes, I know not to over stuff the machines. This was after two washes and a dry. Will not come clean. To top it off the dryers barely work to where you end up feeding them a truckload of quarters. Gave up eventually and went home to hang them on clothes line. So, if you want to be exposed to toxic poison, get ripped off and have your wardrobe ruined, this place is for you.

I use to live right down the rodad from them i moved across town i now drive over 10 miles just to come do laundry here. 1.50 wash in large front loader great dryers about 1.00 to dry a large load very well worth the drive. Please dont ever close!

Ive been coming to North Gate Laundry mat for a while now. Its close to my house, its always clean the machines work, and the owners are wonderful! The staff work hard and are helpful and pleasant. I will keep coming back to them.

The good thing about this place is it going. It cost a dollar seventy five to wash one load and I just spent more than $2 each load to dry and theyre still not dry my recommendation go someplace else.

The cleanest most professionally run laundromat in town. Not only that, but the owners are extremely friendly. The machines are always clean, the actual place is very clean. I dont feel like Im being judged because I have to go to a laundromat to do my laundry here. I just cant say enough good things about this establishment. Theyve got magazines worth reading (The New Yorker, Harpers) and dollar washes on Tuesday (18lb machines, bright colors cycle only). The staff is helpful and the facility is clean and bright.

They are a clean and friendly place. They were packed when I was there, but was able to wash and dry my clothes with no problems. A little expensive but they have dollar wash days on Tuesdays.
