Their dryer is programed 25 cent for 8 min which doesnt dry even light cloths you should add at list 10 cycles for light clothVery cheap and inappropriate which seems like legal teft.Please dont come here to lose your money

The staff were friendly and helpful. When one of the machines didnt work properly, she promptly refunded my money and marked the machine out of order.The facility was clean and well maintained. Although it was quite warm. I would definitely use this laundromat again.

Very clean. Attendant on duty at the time kept the laundromat and machines immaculate. Every machine I used working properly.

( The good reviews are a LIE) the place is really bad outdated no way could it clean clothes properly. In addition I loaded my machines put detergent in them for one of them to take my money and not work at all and then the other one wouldnt take my quarters. In addition its hot the AC doesnt work. This place completely sucks and all the good reviews are nothing but a lie. Shame on me I should have left when I noticed machines had out of order signs on them and they were all old. In addition no ones working in the laundry, they dont pick up the phone and voicemail is full.

Great experience! My washer broke down. I remember seeing this laundromat in the area because I go to the restaurant on the corner. There is a dollar general in the shopping center also. Everything worked out great. I didn’t know how to use some of the machines but they helped explain how to properly use the machines. Its clean and very homey. You can just wash or just dry here. They were perfectly fine with me just washing since my dryer is fine, super nice people. Highly recommend this laundromat.

This is not a well managed place. There were aot of us trying to see what washers worked and what dryers worked. I personally lost money and called a number we googled 4xs and finally got someone to pick up. The person said I recognize your voice. Asked me to complete a form that did not exist. There should be some one on site when your equipment is suspect to break down.A very unclean place. The dryers should be free since half dont work. Move machines and clean vents and in between. No restroom. Need to be renovated.

Glad I found this place. It has a variety of washers that handle everything up to large comforters, and electric and gas dryers. Not a lot of machines in need of repair at any given time, with ample tables for folding and carts to transport laundry. Wash/dry/fold service by Tammy, who is the best!

This is a wonderful laundromat. I love the fact that they are very attentive and helpful. Being older they really helped me during my visit. I also discovered they have laundry service, which is what I used now.

This spot is kept very clean @ all times. Its the only laundromat I feel comfortable using. To add icing to the cake, the people who work @ Soap Opera are super friendly & professional. I love it!

[Edited to respond to owners lies] Whoever owns this place is one seriously sick, demented individual. Lights turn off on their own and doors lock automatically. While trying to get my damp clothes out of the dryer in the dark (that had been in there for an hour) the door automatically locked me in. Thank God I was able to overpower the magnetic lock eventually. Who ever is running this place should be in prison for kidnapping (holding someone against their will). This is beyond disturbing, I just cant help but think what would have happened to say my daughter if she wasnt strong enough to overpower the lock. Just sickening. The more I think about it the more I believe myself and others should file police reports so these disturbed individuals are held accountable for their inhumane actions against other human beings. (In response to the owner you are a liar! There was only 1 announcement 10 min prior to closing. And nothing said about lights out and doors locking. Then lights out with no warning. I started my wash at 7:46 your signs say not to start washing after 9, one would think you could start washing at 9 and be done drying by close according to your own signage. You should change your signs to read start by 7 to be done by 10 because your machines are so slow. If there is a sign to get out how are you supposed to see it in the dark? I hope you have the displeasure of being locked in an unfamiliar pitch black room whith no idea how to get out someday, you might rethink your ridiculous strategy for saving a couple bucks. Again you must have some mental health issues, please get yourself some help.)

The dryers dry quickly. I spend, on average, $1.25 to completely dry a load, and sometimes I dont use all of the time that is given. Also, once you buy 10 washes, you get one free.

I had a house fire and every single piece of cloth in my entire house had to be laundered. It was over 300 pounds of clothes, plus some special dresses and family heirlooms like our Christmas stockings which were damaged by water and ceiling rubble falling on them. Tammy and her team did an incredible job. They delivered everything to us in just a few days, smelling great and perfectly clean and folded. It was such a wonderful experience, really a weight off our shoulders in a difficult time. Ive gone there a few times by myself, to use the self-service machines, and Ive always had a great experience, felt very comfortable and wanted. I cant recommend Soap Opera more, whether you need a place to do your weekly laundry or you want a full-service laundry that delivers right to your door.

I love coming here. Its like doing laundry at your aunts house. Very warm and inviting.

An hour later cant believe it just heard from owner rectify the situation explained about the explaind about AC unit returned my funds and apologized profusely very happy with such a quick response and will now give a better review you should go back to this particular laundromat to do your clothes since they were so good about responding

The laundry is ordinary and clean. I agree, I agree no signage for customer bathrooms. I would not know if the staff was friendly because they have not been here during my visit. I arrived put my $3.75 in the machine and bought a box if Clorox 2 and attempted twice to buy Tide $2 gone. I left to go to the Publix to get detergent and when I came back in 10 min, the laundry reset! It requested $4. I thought what the hell, let me put in a quarter to see if that triggers something, the machine has already reset. I dont have money to throw away and I am up early on a Sunday doing my laundry because I have stuff to do today. I wrote this review in the laundry so this has been 30 min, with no staff on site. I have called and texted the number, no answer.

I have been coming to Soap Opera Laundromat for one year now.It is always a good experience. Great staff, clean and machines are always working.

If I could give this laundromat 0 stars I would! Last night I had the worst laundromat experience of my life here. I am totally convinced that most of these reviews are from employees or friends of the owners. There was no staff present when I went last night. I called today to report this incident and no one has answered the phone. It seems from reading some of the (honest) reviews here, that there never is. The facility was disgustingly kept. Not clean whatsoever. It was hot as a sauna in there while the fans were running, but when they automatically cut off around 9:15, it turned into satans lair. There was no washroom facility, so my young daughter and I had to wait until we got home. The machines are old and desperately need to be replaced. Our cycles took FOREVER to finish. One of the machines got stuck on 15 minutes for about 20 minutes. We started washing around 9:00 and by 9:45pm our cycle was still stuck on 15 minutes. Meanwhile, things started automatically shutting off by itself including lights and tvs while we were still in there waiting on our cycle to finish. Finally at 10pm, the laundromat fell completely dark and the doors automatically locked, scaring my 7 year old and I to death! It was a scene straight out of a scary movie! I had to unload my clothes in the dark using the flashlight on my phone, while trying to calm my crying child from panicking. Im glad that I thought to hold the door open before 10:00 or we mightve been locked in there. Very poor decision on behalf of management to not have staff working the facility. I will NEVER be returning to this laundromat and I made sure to tell all of my acquaintances not to support this business as well. Zero stars from me. Despicable!

I left a load of clothes in the washer didnt realize it until the next day.....well I went up there and my clothes were still there. This place is clean, better than any laundromat Ive ever been to.

The worse customer service ever. We have been going here for a long time. Since they put the African American woman in charge its been a disaster. I am African American as well and I think its a shame how lazy she is during business hours. Machine seem to always be broken now. Our clothes were suck n a washing machine and it took the guys hours to come. Just dont go!!!

Typical laundromat. I was hoping for decent TVs to watch some football. Just 2 tiny CRT TVs, one just fuzz and one off.

Garbage! Never any staff machines dont work and theyre never repaired. Ridiculous

The coin machine took $10 and didnt give any quarters back. I called their number and no answer. Boycott this horrible laundry mat.

This laundromat serves its purpose, its small and moderately clean; however, this is Georgia and as a recent transplant to the area, I expected air conditioning and why are there no bathrooms for customers? In addition, I was disappointed with the 1990 13 TVs with terrible reception and lack of a utility sink.
