Weve been leasing through Tahoe Mountain Properties and although our lease hasnt yet concluded, weve been extremely happy with the house and the attentiveness Holly has paid to us and the property. If I were on the flipside of the equation Id hire TMP for property management in a heartbeat.

We rented a ski lease last year at 11968 Bennett Flat, Truckee, CA 96161. Our group was in constant communication with the owner and Holly at Tahoe Mountain Properties. We even contributed $3,500 for the owner to install a Hot Tub helping him improve the value of his property. At the end of the ski lease, after mentioning no issues throughout our rental, the owner illegally tried to keep our deposit, despite there being no damages (which he admitted). He made false claims in court such as that we had been subletting. We ended up having to take the owner to small claims court. Holly at Tahoe Mountain Properties submitted a letter to the claiming we had wanted 20 people on the lease originally. This letter was completely false and made up (why would a rental agency rent to us if we had said this in the first place?!). We ultimately won in small claims court and the owner even had to pay court fees. It was really sad to see a unit returned with no damage whatsoever and a dishonest attempt from the owner to keep our deposit with wrongful support from Holly. I advise against using Tahoe Mountain Properties and ESPECIALLY do not rent from 11968 Bennett Flat.
