We love Pais! They were amazing during the pandemic. Incredibly organized and safe. My daughter loves her classes. Prices are very reasonable. They have a summer camp too!

I train with Pais Taekwondo in their adult classes (currently 39 years old). For me, Taekwondo is particularly great for making friends outside of work, as well as staying in shape. The adult classes offer an incredible workout. And training with Pais really feels like being part of an inclusive and welcoming family.

If you have a child 5-10 years old and youre looking to introduce your child to basic martial arts and displine Pais can be a fairly good option to instill a good foundation for your child.However if you are looking for anything else stay very far away from Pais. The pais business model is based completely off the ignorance of the laymans. Pais TKD is whats know in the martial arts community as a McDojo a school that is interested far more in churning out black belts for a price than they are in providing a legimate martial arts experience. Look no further than their black belt club program, they are very interested in locking their customers into 4 year contracts as it is the only way they can ensure a steady income.Tae Kwon Do as a martial art although having some legimate factors, it is completely ineffective as a self defense system and as a competitive martial arts (I.e. K-1 kickboxing or modern MMA). The pais know this, as does everyone who has legimate combat sport experience as why they are incentivised to lock their new customers into contracts as their are many many better options on the market.If you are looking for a legimate martial art look for one that focuses on technique, resistance training and active resistance I.e. sparring. Even though sparring is a factor at Pais, it is a very watered down system under World TKD Federation which boils down to glorified foot tag. It is ineffective in preparing individuals for the chaos that is involved in a real life situation. Ask yourself of the instructors that are present at the school, could they handle a punch in the face? Would they know what to do if someone bigger than them grabbed them and didnt let go?Would you trust your physical safety to obese men, frail women and 17- 20 year old children?If you do chose to enroll your child at Pais be very wary of the STORM and SWAT programs. This is the pais way of having free labor. Your child can quickly become an indentured servant, espically if they grew up at the school. The yes sir, no sir mentality is instilled from day one, if the pais become their employers it is extremely hard to say no to them. Things quickly become;hey xxx youre going to start helping with classes. yes sir,Hey xxx youre going to start teaching classes. Yes sirhey xxx youre going to start working 6 days a week yes sirhey xxx youre going to mow my lawn after you teach class on saturday yes sirEnroll you and your child in a legimate martial art and school that focuses on technique and active resistance training such as; jiu jitsu, wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, judo, or muay thai. A martial art that will provide you with legimate skills and actual confidence that comes from defending yourself against a resisting opponent. Not the type of boxed confidence that comes from a new belt every 3 months after remembering a form and paying X amount of dollars.

Pai’s Taekwondo is absolutely everything I could have wished it to be and so much more. This place has done so much for my son. I cannot stress enough how amazing the instructors are and how much everyone that works here cares about their students. Pai’s will always hold a very special place in my heart and I cannot thank them enough. If you are looking for a great martial arts school for yourself or your child, look no further. This is the one!!

Pais has done wonders for our sons self-esteem, has improved his focus and self-control. The staff have been supportive and always encourage him to be a leader and a positive member of his school and local community. We highly recommend Pais Tae Kwon Do for your son or daughter!

Pais has been a part of our family for just about 3 years now and we couldnt be happier. When I say family, I really mean it. The interest they show in their kids is unmatched in any other sports, clubs, etc. that Ive ever experienced. They didnt skip a beat when forced to reconfigure everything about their lessons due to Covid. Now that they are reopening the preventative measures they have taken are thorough and have alleviated any concerns about in class returns that we have had. They also continue with remote lessons to allow students to continue even with the reduced class sizes. Thanks for being amazing!

Pais has built up my 2 childrens confidence, and their physical health. They are dedicated teachers. We love them!

Pais Tae Kwon Do has been an integral part of my family for years and I cannot imagine where we might be today without their structure, guidance, and personal attention. Each of us joined for different reasons over the years but we have all benefited in so many unexpected ways. I am grateful for the Pais commitment to each of their students and would highly recommend their program for anyone looking to benefit from physical activity, focus, discipline, or simply instilling values of respect and integrity.

Pais Taekwondo has been absolutely amazing. I witnessed first hand the respect and discipline they teach and role model. They will contact and keep clients informed of any changes or problems with the schedule. Ive never seen a more caring and inclusive group as i have when Im at Pais, it doesnt matter if you are a student or a visitor they always make you feel like a part of the family and i appriciate that so much. We have watched our daughter grow into a more responsible and confident person over the last few years. She’s learned that hard work, perseverance and being a leader in all she does is important.

My son did a free 6 week trial as part of a fundraiser when he wS in 4 th grade. He enjoyed it so much he joined. The staff is awesome. He has learned focus, determination, integrity. His self esteem has improved along with his balance, strength and confidence. He is a black belt and he is continuing on because of the friendships and support he has found at Pai’s

My 5 year old loves it here, she has been going for almost a year. Pais has always been so professional regarding communication, accommodations, and especially during the pandemic. All of the teachers at Pais are excellent, it’s a great community to be a part of. They offer so many additional events and activities. They really love their job which makes us love coming here. Definitely an excellent choice for taekwondo.

Pais Taekwondo is the complete package for the individual or an entire family. I have been training since I was 6 years old and now my daughters have joined me on the mat. While I have always loved TKD and the experience it has provided me, nothing compares to being part of the Pais Taekwondo family under the direction of Grandmaster Doo Young Pai and his family. At Pais, you will not only learn techniques and curriculum, but you will develop modesty and self-discipline in an environment that promotes integrity and perseverance. The Pais offer a setting where everyone feels supported and confident enough to become the best version of themselves and a family in which everyone feels they belong.
