The self-service kiosk is easy and simple to use. When I come here to ship off pre-paid packages, there usually isnt a line to use the self-service machine. I scan my labels and drop the packages in the drop box they have to the right of the station.

Absolutely terrible staff and service. Getting anyone to do their job at this location is like pulling teeth. They need to re-staff this entire branch. It’s like a bunch of first graders working their. Even worse is getting any type of package delivered to your house. You can be sitting in your front room watching tv with the door open and see the carriers go right by your house only to have them later say that there was no access to deliver..seriously…This has been an ongoing issue with them. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

Honestly, the man working the counter today was such a help. After visiting two other post offices, he was able to explain to me what I needed to do to send out my envelopes. I was sold the wrong stamps at one location, and the other location told me to reconsider what I was sending.. You cant return stamps by the way, wasted $100s!! Thank you sir for setting me straight with what I needed to do!Also, there was a line, but I maybe waited 5-6 minutes, not too shabby for a post office that size.

Had an issue of a package being delivered to my old address, but it never got there because their system knew to forward, however the forward window expired, however it keep coming back to the local post office near me currently. I was trying to explain this and all 3 people I got passed around to would not remember what the last person asked. They kept interupting me with that they are too busy, however this just lengthed the call. I was also asked whether I had it forwarded to my new address and this one guy demanded I give a Yes or No response that I couldnt answer with a Yes or No response because I needed to explain it was outside the forward window. If they were to slow down and listen my 50 minute on and off hold call would have been less than 10 minutes guarantee. Not to mention I called 7 times today and was hung up on by the automatic operator 6 times. No prompts to leave a message, just rude workers to not know to look at the caller ID and ask for my phone number 3 different times. Good news is I did get my package but the workers just created more stress to themselves and me by the sheer rudeness.

This is the closest post office I have near me and I tend to come in a few times a week to drop off packages. I usually don’t have time to wait in line to drop off packages so I use the drop box. I’ve dropped off a few items over the past week and NONE were ever scanned. And the tracking never updates until another department scans it or it’s finally marked as delivered. This is bad considering you pay for tracking and it doesn’t update and it also looks bad on me because my costumers think I’m lying about shipping out their orders when in reality I did my part and shipped them but the post office didn’t do their job and scan the package before shipping it out. Please try to remember to scan the packages in the drop box.

The lines are always long, and there is always one or two registers open. Most of the clerks have bad attitudes and the management lacks professionalism. Our mail has been lost for weeks because of the carrier delivering it to the wrong mail box, and the management doesn’t seem to care to help track it. Kim, one of the supervisors, is mean, rude and unprofessional. Jeremy, another supervisor, gets nothing done. His “attempting to care” attitude is aggravating. I think that explains the clerks’ behavior. I can’t believe we get this kind of customer service in Troy. This office needs to be REVAMPED.

I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. I’ve been here several times and the workers are more than friendly and very helpful, especially when I’ve had questions that are probably basic and dumb 😆 Lines are usually long but that’s normal at every post office. They go fast so you’re really not waiting long at all.

I received a package that was ripped open, with only 2 pages of the textbook that I ordered. This was then sealed in a We Care plastic package, with no information about where the rest of my book was, besides a petty Please accept our apologies. This was surprising since it was only shipped from a few cities away in Michigan. I went into this Post Office and received no help, spoke to a supervisor that seemed clueless, and who gave me a wrong number to call. I then called the post office several times, and after being disconnected and then hung up on, never was able to speak to the main manager there. I have yet to receive a call back from the manager, as Im sure David (the supervisor, if thats actually his name, as he refused to give me his last name) did not leave a message from me. Overall, this was a terrible and unprofessional experience and I highly suggest you go elsewhere.

After package was marked delivered but was not actually delivered, we finally got a hold of the post office who offered to have the mail carrier check a few places for the package. Time will tell if this proves fruitful but nice to see them take the time out to respond to concerns.

I was impressed with the teamwork, friendliness, and serviced provide at my visit yesterday during normal course of business. I had a lot that I was sending out, and Blake on the team helped me save money by providing best options and were very helpful. Lines tend to be incredibly long. It wouldnt be so bad, except you can clearly see employees milling around eating bagels, etc. When it was finally my turn to be waited on, timing was such that his bagel was handed to him by someone, and he dove into that yummy cream cheese. My stamps had a fine coating of cream cheese all over them. He was undeterred and not phased by this. When I had a PO Box, wrong mail was constantly being thrown into the box. A dyslexic thing. I was getting all kinds of mail from a medical facility in the area. Cant even begin to describe how many HIPA laws were probably violated by this.

We had to box and ship a small package recently and used USPS in Troy. For the past many years we have been using FedEx. What a surprise! We received personal service by a hostess who got us in out very quickly, and the price was much less than FedEx.

Absolute worst post office I have ever stepped foot in. Went in to do my family passports and the man behind the counter had no respect. Kept talking over my husband and I and arguing that he’s not taking anymore customers. He shouted at us like we were trash. He shouldn’t have a job in customer service. We asked to speak to his manager and he ignored us. People came up to us to ask if we were okay because he was shouting so loud. Hope he gets fired for his actions.

If I could give more stars, I would!!!I went in for a passport. Stood in line for maybe 10 minutes on my lunch break and then went through the process with a gentlemen named Papa Bear. First off, this guy was super calm, polite, and efficient.I have a trip planned in the very near future, so I was prepared to pay for express shipping. Papa Bear assured me I would get my passport in 3-5 weeks, and that there was no need to pay an additional $100 to expedite the process.Low and behold, during a government shut down mind you, I got my passport with in 4 weeks. This location is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a passport.Thank you Papa Bear!!!

I go early before the post office is open so I use the self service station all the time. The two drop off bins are ALWAYS broken and out of order. The two new self service machines are nice but they are a little more difficult to use and take double the time. Plus, at least one of the machines is also never working! The staff is always nice, but no sense of urgency. Every one moves verrrryyy slow.UPDATE: 2 weeks later I find myself at this post office again. I went in on 12/14 and both deposit bins are STILL broken. One of the machines card readers is not working and the scale on the other is WAY off. I know my package was less then 1lb and yet the machine was only giving me priority prices and nothing for first class. Plus, the scale kept saying it weighed almost 2 lbs, which wasnt the case. These issues need to be fixed, especially around this time of the year. Everything about this location is an inconvenience.

The worst Post Office ever. Package tracking says the package was delivered yesterday but it was not. Talked to the carrier, then talked to a Supervisor on the phone. The supervisor said that she would call back in a few minutes. That was a few hours ago and now the phone just rings off the hook.I gave up on the Troy Post Office years ago. I refuse to step foot int here because the counter staff is rude and inconsiderate. Auburn Hills and Royal Oak are much better. It doesnt have to be this way.

Went there on a Saturday to get my passport. Online it says open until 12:30pm when I got there at noon the guy behind the counter was super rude saying he closed at 11:30 am. The sign in the building says open until 1130pm. James Jackson the manager was less than helpful. This place is the worst- definitely represents the state of our government. I went to Southfield instead and it was a much better experience with staff that was actually helpful and kind.

Something strange happened in this location while applying for my daughters passport. We wanted the express passport that takes only 10 days to process and when it was time to pay we were told it was 220 dlls when in the website said that it was going to be 180. So we pay but the receipt only shows 180. So no one knows what happened with the other 40 bucks.

Tracking says they delivered my package 11/26 and stopped being updated. Didnt even get an attempted deliver slip that day11/28 I get a delivery slip and says available for pickup 11/29 by 10am, checked tracking, wasnt updated.Go in on 11/29 at 5:30pm and they couldnt even find my package.How does that even happen? It was a 2.5x2.5x1.5ft 40 pound package! You dont just lose something that big. Ridiculous

This post office can get extremely busy sometimes and wait times can be really annoying. But my experience with the staff has always been good. They are very friendly and do things the right way. I wish they had more staff to help out during the busy times. Post office is well stocked. Getting out of the parking lot might be an issue sometimes because Livernois Rd gets so crowded.

Lost 2 packages in a row for the past 2 weeks. The tracking info says they fit a package as large as a backpack into my mailbox without asking any signature. Contact with the USPS customer service later that day. They told me to wait. When I finally got a return call after 5 days of investigation, the lady can only repeat one sentence the record shows weve deviled the package into your building in front of your door.I AM TELLING YOU AN ISSUE, NOT PICK UP A PHONE CALL AND LISTEN TO YOUR EXCUSE.I dont wanna lose more packages, cause I still have to stay in the same place for a year. I sent one package to India. It reached to India and surprisingly the Box was in open condition where my items were stolen. I immediately went to USPS office from where my items were dispatched, The response that I got from USPS was ridiculous, they mentioned to me that USPS cant guarantee for International shipment, I asked the question If USPS cant guarantee then why did they accept my package to get shipped to India. Anyways, another blunder, the tracking # that they provided me is also wrong as there is NO tracking records fetched against the provided tracking #. I will keep on fighting to get claim settled but this is worst services that USPS provided me. DONT try USPS for International package!

I know they werent by because we were sitting on the porch, and this is a house not a business. If the post office employees are not going to deliver the packages on the weekends, then USPS corporate should not be making contracts with Amazon to deliver on Sunday.

I sat right outside the door finishing a phone call in my car and watched customer after customer walking out shaking their heads in disgust. I thought to myself, “what could be so bad about the post office?” Then I actually had to interact with the people working here. Sure enough I joined the masses of those walking out shaking my head wondering why I continue to ever come back to this location. Go here only if you want to receive a package. They dont accept their mistakes and try to blame it on the customer. Mainly Lexy.My certified mail package was sent without tracking and without certification. I have the receipt and they say I must have not wanted certification for it. Never did she say it might have been her fault that she missed it too.My priority package tracking does not show up. Lexy says it reached but wont give me a confirmation with tracking details.Oh, dont bother calling them. The call straight away says office is closed when Im inside it!

They have 2 self serve kiosks, both are broken. One wont read credit cards, the other adds 12 oz to the weight on the scale. This has been brought to staff attention but they refuse to put up signs, which is a lawsuit in the making. Both internal drob boxes are also out of order. Dont bother coming here if looking for self service.

Itd have no stars id be able to post it. I mailed $400 worth of wedding invites... Which only a third of the invites were ever delivered. I had called people after the rsvp date to wonder why they never rsvpd. They then said they were still waiting on the invites and never recieved them... I had to call everyone individually to make sure they were still coming... Which many could not attend due to being out of state and such short notice. So not only did I waste $400, but was not able to fill all of the spots at the wedding in time... Which were $57 a plate. And until today none of them have received anything.Thanks....

Why would you put such a slow moving angry person on passport services on a saturday morning? He took over 20 min per customer to complete what should have taken less than 10 min. If your using the walk in pasport services on a Saturday, plan on spending the entire day. Bring water, snacks, and maybe a folding chair.Plus the website shows passport services is open until 12:30 but they actually stop taking customers at 11:30. Saw multiple people get burned by this!And to top all this off, he forgot to have to customers sign their application! One noticed but the other had to be called and asked to return 30 min after he had left!

My mail carrier is lazy and always late with the mail...online packages say delivered but I always receive them 3 or 5 days after the comfirmation...I watched her place mail in mailbox and leave a note saying attempted delivery of package could not be done due to no access to deliver package...being lazy, over weight is not an excuse to not perform your job of delivering mail...also, management should put trackers on their mail trucks...I see mail carriers sitting in parking lots having 1 to 2 hrs lunch breaks....going into the office to make complaints does no good they always make excuses on why it is everyones fault but their own...I havent gotten any mail in 2 days, the mail carrier is missing, maybe sitting in a parking lot somewhere having an all day lunch?

This post office is the WORST!! I sent my PO Box payment over two weeks ago. They hadn’t processed it until, well, I came in during business hours to ask why. They locked my box out sending all my mail back to my clients. Thousands of dollars of payments that got sent back to clients because they sat on their butts not processing PO Box payments. There is nothing I can do about it and they were about to charge me a late fee. The lady went in the back and found my post marked envelope with my check in it that hadn’t been processed for over two weeks. I’m livid. Yet, there’s nothing they can do to help me now. I top of all this mess there was a young lady named Lexi taking personal phone calls. Tons of people in line but she’s wandering off taking personal phone calls on her cell phone. This is happened multiple times when I’ve been in there. Employees walking away from the desk while tons of people are waiting. So disappointing.

Had to come in for a passport. Took an hour off of work to get here after looking up on the website to see that they were open till 6:00 p.m.. Stood in line for 20 minutes when the gentleman behind the counter noticed me and said he would not help me because I did not have a red slip and they were closed. This was at 5:15.
