I was suppose to be with Nationwide for 2 years and it ended up being 4 (because of my stupidity) Matt was so professional and very knowledgeable when I had questions. I had an ignition interlock installed in my car for 5.5 years. Nationwide was always helpful, kind, and had great customer service. I appreciate the way they treated me as a customer. Im glad this period of my life is over but I enjoyed the quick response time and helpful staff

If you have been unfortunately ordered to have an interlock device installed, nationwide makes it less painful. They were always easy to work with and had several convenient installation locations. I used the Monroe truck location in Muskegon, the technician Ken at that location was great to work with and always got me in and taken care of quickly. I never had any issues with the device over the 2 years I’ve had it, which I’ve heard other companies devices are not so trusty. I would highly recommend Nationwide interlock and Dreager to anyone that finds themselves in a situation where you need an interlock installed.
When I was looking for an interlock company because of my situation, I was recommended to Nationwide by my attorney. It was the best decision. Nationwide provided not only a great product(the draeger device) but great, fast and professional service. The facilities were clean and organized. Staff was always super helpful and friendly.Changed review because after they took the interlock out of my car the remote start stopped working. I was told they never disconnected it which doesn’t even make sense to me at all. Any way it sucks because most are forced to put this thing in their car with no care to if the interlock may cause damage. Glad a bought a cheap car to put it in versus putting it in my at the time new car. Again the staff in the office have always been friendly, not happy about the rest.

Very friendly and helpful office staff and technician. Their service was great in an industry that doesn’t always treat clients with respect, although hold times when attempting to contact someone by phone were lengthy for me.
I used Nationwide under the advice of my attorney. I was nervous picking a company for an interlock because I’ve heard so many horror stories about faulty equipment, false positives, etc. I had this device on my vehicle for 2 years. Not a single false positive. No failed equipment. Download and calibrations were quick and easy. Device was a little quirky in extreme temperatures, but they all do that. I’m just glad that when it was time to have my hearing, I didn’t have to worry about a bad interlock report. Definitely worth what I paid.
The technician Matt was always super helpful and friendly. The company as a whole is extremely understanding and makes the entire process smooth and never did I feel judged.

My husband was ordered to have an interlock device installed. Like everyone we heard the horror stories about being locked out, false readings, and other issues, but we had absolutely none! Appointments for calibration were conveniently scheduled, your given a payment schedule as well. If your having your vehicle serviced, the support team is very helpful and informative. He went the 18 months with no problems and has now completed his program and had the machine removed. We highly recommend Nationwide Interlock for their service and customer support team.
Office Is always very nice friendly, and willing to help. Wait times on the phone can be lenthy. And their are alot of extra fees for any little change to appointments due to your work schedule.

Professional and fast interlock device installation and calibration. Came here under the advice of my attorney was not court ordered. When I scheduled the uninstall they didn’t give me any trouble approving it to be removed. The device was helpful in getting my charges reduced to a lesser charge.

Great service from the very start of scheduling to get the first instillation to the end taking off the machine. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who is in need of an installation. 3 Things I looked for: 1) The device worked perfectly. No nervous false readings or anything. Eat a sandwich, have a soda, chew some gum. No problems. 2) All phone contact was very kind and professional. I was treated as a valued customer. 3) All contact at the shops were very professional and understanding. Again, treated as a paying customer of a service that I needed. It may be a bit more expensive than others, but it was worth the reliability and respect of a client. I highly recommend.

Very professional. Fired the folks at Introversion Intoxalock so I could use Nationwides Draeger system and deal with their professional staff. They beat Intoxalocks price by a grand, and that didnt hurt one little bit either!!

At first, I went to Smart Start in Lake Orion, and the experience was awful. I had to wait 6 hours no car, middle of nowhere and the techs didnt know what he was doing at one point the guy told me We had to cut your emergency braking line and I was just thinking what is wrong with you turns out it was installed improperly, so I got a refund. Then, after having the car towed due to being locked out I was on the phone for 30 minutes w the main Smart Start office and was recommended by my PO to go to Nationwide Interlock. NATIONWIDE INTERLOCK has been VERY GOOD, the first day I got in there I was able to pull into the garage and the Main Technician was very helpful, he was about 30 and seemed to know it all about the car (which is a 2021 hybrid push to start) so I got the main guy for Nationwide the Head Technician guy. The garage and offices are clean and professional, like a corporate office setting. There is even a TV and a coffee maker. When I needed to pay for my account, the billing department people walked right out and collected my credit card to make it very easy on me. Im pleased with the experience at Nationwide, one of the negatives has been the long hold ques when you need to call in for an appointment, the que length changes depending on the call volume and time of day. Overall, very good and I would recommend to other people who have crimes of substance abuse under their belt or are court ordered to get one of the Draeger Devices installed.
Ive used their services for nearly two years. Even through the Covid shutdown their service department was available to handle any questions or issues I had.They device provided is superior to ones offered by other companies, judging by some of the horror stories Ive heard.I have, and will recommend them to any one . They made navigating a difficult situation as easy as possible.

Ive been with Nationwide interlock for almost 4 years i had two other types of interlock but theres is the easiest to do i had alot of violations useing the other two types of breatalizers but not one with Nationwide i would highly reccomend then, the staff is great there very helpful and kind and most of the time get u in the same day if ur having a issue but i really doubt you will.
Professional staff. Apt service. Well-informed employees able to competently address concerns, if they arose. Client use of third party billing was, however, unusable. Had to call payments in each month but Nationwide staff took payments with no issue.
Over all very satisfied, cost is better than most, staff is helpful finding what you need and the techs and quick.

Let me first off say thank you for the last 14 months each time I called with a concern or question it was answered in a professional timely manner . I am glad to say that I am at the end of the road with you guys and I appreciate all you guys have done to make this easy on me ..I feel as if the service was worth the money paid out but could be a little more transparent when it comes to final cost of the machine being taken out I was unaware of the cost at the end of the road I was under the understanding that the install and removal were apart of the payment each month maybe I missed something overall a great experience and thank you

The customer service and staff I have no complaints about. I took stars off because it would be great to have the company reach out to you when there is a violation. Mine was in service and I had the dates to prove that easily, and it took the state 4 months to sort out while I paid but could not drive and had to find alternate rides.Had I been alerted to the violation I could have notified the state immediately (I notified the state the day I received the letter and it still took 4 months to sort out). I did not think they would need to unhook the battery for the simple service so I didnt think to notify about it, but the worker on camera during the violation (tampering due to battery disconnect) was a man and Im not.It would be nice if the company had notified me of the issue so I could have resolved it before it became a massive issue.

I chose Nationwide Interlock for their inconspicuous design of a device with Drager. Very user friendly and even had a light that went off on my instrument cluster to signal me to blow. The device even offered insurance! Was very pleased with my experience using this company. Over the past year and a half I have called with many questions and have always been answered with professionalism and courtesy. All staff interaction was pleasant from the garage to the office. In the beginning it was a little hard to get used to but after a few months the interlock became natural. once the pandemic hit the billing (McKayla) department was absolutely amazing and patient and worked with me on my monthly payments until my unemployment kicked in for only a small fee to extend the due date from time to time.....I hope i never have to refer a friend for an interlock but if i do this would be the place I would send them too!! Also the Techs they have in the garage are so nice and always pleasant.Sincerely,A. Rice
Avoid this place at all costs. They will damage your vehicle then claim they are responsible. I had their device installed in my car, had it removed and when I had it removed they disconnected my horn and refused responsibility for the damages or to repair it. Really doesn’t get anymore unprofessional or greasy.
During the three years I had the unit in my vehicle, I had quick and complete response from the Nationwide staff. I would recommend this company over others in my area, they made my experience a little easier.
I had an interlock on my car for two years. Matt and Mike in the garage were always able to work with my schedule changes. Even on my last appointment I showed up early and was quoted that the uninstallation of the device would take an hour over the phone. Matt and Mike had it done in less than an hour and even let me come in early so I got to work on time. These guys make a great team! I would have given a five star review but getting a hold of scheduling and billing was always an inconvenience and it seemed like no one was on the same page.
Through persistence I have found out Im just not cut out for drinking and this is where this company and myself crossed paths. Recent graduate and could have not done it without the team from Nation Wide Interlock. These guys and girls were a great company to do business with and would recommend them to anyone. I was granted a restricted dl, with the blow and go, I had longer then was supposed to die to the covid pandemic, but I recieved my operator license today, because I followed all requirements, so honestly if it was for the interlock I would of never been granted my full driving privileges back so thank you nationwide interlock
Dealing with legal consequences is rough, but Nationwide really makes the experience as nice and easy as it can be. The owner and staff are extremely knowledgeable and truly care about getting you through the process and back to a full license. The download appointments are a breeze, too. Tony is super friendly and nice to chat with for a few minutes while the download is being done. He’s always professional, but takes the time to see how everything is going and that I have answers to any questions I have.Great job Nationwide team! :)
Not the best of situations but getting it serviced was easy, everyone at NWI was friendly, very long hold times to get ahold of someone but understandably so with everything going on. Was an easy device to get the hang of & compared to other stories about interlock devices it didnt bother me if i ate, chewed gum etc. - def get the LED lights installed for the extra $5 it was worth every penny & helped me A TON.

After hearing horror stories about the other providers I did not want to take the risk of trying other systems or providers. For 15 LONG months I drove with a Draeger interlock device in my car and had no issues whatsoever with the device- no false positive readings or violations!!! As a result I got my full drivers license back this week and now get to have my interlock device removed. To have a breathalyzer in your car is not a fun experience, but the people working at Nationwide Interlock LLC made the experience enjoyable. The waiting room at the troy office is comfortable, nice, and friendly. The employees are so helpful. Whenever i had a question, they answered it thoroughly. I even joked around with many of them and formed nice friendships with them. The device was very easy to use, and i never had a problem with it (I have heard from people using other devices that they have had problems with theirs), so i was very happy to never once have an issue with mine. Today, as I am eligible to get the device removed, I called and they had appointments for removal same day. This experience, although rough at times, was made easier and nicer due to Nationwide. I started my journey with them at the troy office, and when i relocated to Ann Arbor they had a Ypsilanti office, which made it very convenient for me. They have locations in so many areas. My scheduled appointments never took too long. All in all, going through nationwide was the best way to experience this experience.

The Drager unit has been trouble free save for power cord strain relief failure, though no wires have broken. Customer service and service stations have been earnest and exemplary. The professional demeanor of all personnel minimizes the stigma associated with this offense and offers a path to redemption.
