Great organization! They actually care about their animals and ensure they go to safe, quality homes. They have great policies like no declawing, always spay/neuter and indoor-only which supports their overall mission of supporting the good of animal welfare. Highly recommend!
Dont call the number listed, its just a lady that tells you she only answers the phone and cant really answer anything, seriously. She also gets rude fast. Also, they deny based on personal opinions and or their mistakes that they wont acknowledge and then lay it all on the fact that theyre just volunteers. Super disorganized. Ive adopted twice from them and not only do they not have those records, their rules seem to change each time and based on who you talk to-- how does this help the animals? Two of the animals we adopted from there were already sick, the fosters and volunteers really are a mixed bag. Its so much harder than it should be, and then they tell you to find another rescue like there isnt a loving home here for an available animal living in a box at Petco. It feels wrong. I feel bad for the animals, some of these people dont actually seem to want to help them by being bad gatekeepers.
I inquired about adopting 2 cats and Sharon responded very rudely. I don’t recommend this place to anyone
I called with three simple questions and the person who answered was really rude, barely helped with my questions, and basically told me I probably wouldnt get the cat without knowing anything about me...like not even my name
Dont tell them you have indoor/outdoor cats...you wont get one..called references at 9 pm...Hipacrits...Denied us saying..we do not let OUR cats outside..ever
