Dr. Wisckol and Dr. Kirkland are hands dwn the best. Had to make an emergency visit due to an abcessed tooth. Once infection was gone I chose to have it extracted and was scared to death due to a past experience. Dr. Kirkland was totally awesome......very understanding and made this experience not so terrifying. He had my tooth out and I didnt even know I never felt anything. I will always go to him for any dental needs. So blessed to have found this office. Hands down the best!!!

Dr Despotis is hands down the best! Gum line fillings are absolutely seamless. I can say this with knowledge of past fillings, root canals and 7 crowns done by another dentist that doesnt even compare to Dr Despotis work. She explains everything in detail. I usually go through panic attacks while in chair, but first time there I felt comfortable. This is coming from someone who has issues with going to Dentist was always freaked out. Well no more. I highly recommend Dr Despotis. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ive been going here for over 25 years. They are the BEST in dental visits I ever found. The entire staff is just great. They treat you like a person that they like a lot. My personal favorite dentists are Dr. Kirkland and Dr. Wisckol. The staff makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience! Whoda thought??

Just had my teeth cleaned. Wendy was awesome! She was professional, efficient and thorough (not in a hurry). If you dont like getting your teeth cleaned because your gums hurt so bad afterward, Wendy is the person for you!

Great dentist! Really liked the office. Everything was very clean and I felt very comfortable—not exactly the norm as far as dentists go. Dr. Kirkland gave me options regarding my treatment and I felt confident in his professional opinion. I am happy to tell other people about my experience and to continue brining my kids here.

I purposely avoided going to the dentist because I was so embarrassed of my teeth. Dr. Kirkland came up with a step by step plan of how to make my mouth healthy and I finally love my smile! He is the best of the best!!

This is a great office! Very efficient. This office sees so many patients and is always bustling! Thatt a true testament to how much people like this office. I would definitely recommend the hygienists and the doctors. The entire office team is wonderful and always takes great care of their patients!

I give this office six stars out of five! I love the office, the doctors, and the entire environment! I definitely recommend this dentist! The other location is Westland is also great! The ladies at the front desk are so helpful, the hygienists are so nice, and the doctors are so skilled at what they do!

This place is something else... I went in there today for an appointment at 8:00 AM and arrived right on time. Went into the waiting room and up to the counter and the two receptionists who were sitting there were too preoccupied with other things to even acknowledge that I came in, so I just sat down. 5 minutes go by and I hear them talking about me saying I cant believe hes late, he doesnt live far... Im going to call him. Then one of the ladies peeks around the window and asks if Im so and so and I say yes... And the other lady states oh, hes here? Seriously?? Youre talking about me and didnt even realize I was already sitting in the waiting room? Maybe if you had acknowledged me when I came up to the window....

The doctors were great but the staff was not. I made an appointment and they didn’t clear my insurance waited until after I got all my procedures done and then decided to tell me that I owed them like $1,000 dollars.Some of the staff is nice but I think it’s only like one or two people and every time I called to make a payment they were very rude. I was very upset and so I was going to pay them but they proceeded to call my mom and tell her that I owed money and didn’t even bother to call me. So I was very upset because I am over 18 and I don’t need them to call my mom and I work in a medical field and I know that I you have to put someone on my HIPPA form for them to even release my information and I never put anyone on it. So I went in and complained and they just said that because it’s my moms insurance they just figured they could call her and I said I get that but you didn’t even try to call me and then they were like um well.. & I decided that was the final straw and I left and went to another office. Like I said the doctors are great but I will definitely not be going back!!

Dentist and the hygienist were both very nice. However, what I really really domt appreciate is getting my x Rays done and then later on getting a bill in the mail because they didnt let me know that my insurance wouldnt cover ALL of the x Rays they did. This is the second dentist in the area that has not fully checked mt coverage before doing something. My insurance covers the basic bitewing xrays and Im tired of paying for other peoples mistakes.Update: they told me I need like 7-10 fillings after my last cleaning elsewhere was fine. Went back to my old dentist and they told me that I, in fact, dont need any fillings. Wont be going back.

After years of being unhappy at my previous dentists office im so happy I found Gentle Dental!The front office ladies were all really friendly and helpful with all my questions and concerns, when I got in for my exrays the assistant was really sweet and personable, I had my exam done by Dr Kirkland I was really worried that he would say I had alot of cavities and need rootcanals and crowns but he told me everything looks great theres a few things to keep an eye on but nothing to worry about.I had my cleaning with Debbie the hygnest, she was awsome and very caring I hardly knew she was in my mouth she has such a light touch and she even took extra time to remove some stains that I had .I love this office Dr Kirkland will be my dentist forever !!😀
