Quick service man gave us a discount even through we were late bringing vehicle back. Only drawback is location. Difficult to find. Very small signage in crowded area. There was tons of traffic and if you miss your turn possibility of going miles out of the way.

I’ve rented quite often from hertz.. I’ve requested to be picked up 3 times: the first time the guy was an hour late, the following two times no one showed up and no one called me to tell me that my request was denied. Other than that, no complaints.

Ive rented from this location several times, and prior to today was a professional speedy process. It began a day before when I placed a reservation and was told about an hour late sorry but we have no vehicles, which begs the question why would you or the website allow me to book a reservation knowing you already didnt have the inventory. I get a call less than an hour before they close they have a vehicle available but it will cost me $10 extra s day. You made the mistske and I have to pay for it. HORRIBLE customer service. So zi said I wont be able to make it there in time can. Can It be held for first thing. They advertise with opening hours at 7;30 am I need the car and head to work. 7:45, 7:55, 8:05 8:15 no employees to be seen. Call the 1-800 number not one prompt is related to issues or an agent. Finally find an agent, was told regional manager would be notified maybe another ten min before he arrives Im late for work and so is my ride.As soon as I talk to him no seemingly sincere apologies, I had order a midsize but only a SUV was available, I asked oif the same booking rate can be applied SUV. He did agree and said ok. After payment and no questions about insurance Im quickly walkedd outside where, Im handed keys and we part. We didnt go over any possible dings or dents on vehicle as typically is done prior to s rental. Not only was I extra late for work but as was . Y driver. I asked for some type of compensation due to waiting, the best I was able to receive was to match my original booking, I feel. Ore should have been. Maybe this isnt last time renting from Hertz.

Hertz at Hamilton Square delivered the car on time. But I signed for extra ins for 2 days at $18.99 per day. So about $38. They charged my debit $75. I called numerous times. He said they’d credit me. Never have. This was months ago. Have never gotten a credit

I was suppose to return the car at JFK, but things changed and I was able to returned to the pick-up location. They were professional, but didnt even consider honoring the rate I had from the contract I had with JFK, which ended due to no fault of my own. Would have been a Perfect experience had this courtesy been given.

I reserved a car back in May 2016. I knew about the hold on the card no big deal. I was advised the policy changed after I made my reservation and they would not honor that. Funny how hertz fails to e mail or let me know that I had a reservation also or changes of policy from the previous year. Do NOT waste your time wit this company. I went to enterprise 30 minutes later left with a car customer service was great and matched the price I had from hertz. I will never be a customer of hertz again.

Not a great experience had my car totaled and had to go through someone elses insurance. They convinced me here to get their insurance and at the end of two months (someone just refused to acknowledge fault). I owed an extra 900 that NJM apparently doesnt cover. That would have been nice to know up front. Theyre also abbrasive over the phone like your bothering them or they havent eaten in a few days. Noticed the same speech patterns with two different employees, sorry for renting a car guys.

Hertz as a company roped me off buyer be ware. Make sure they are not a independent franchise. Because they will overcharge you and corporate won’t do anything for you

Very understaffed. Was told the night before a car would be available at a certain time. It was not. In fact the employee told me they had never heard of me or my reservation. At first I was told only SUVs were available, but went I said Id go elsewhere, a smaller car was suddenly available. Was there over an hour during which time only 3 people were served. Insisted I take insurance which I knew I didnt need. Had to have my insurance agent call the next day to cancel it. I will never use Hertz again.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My wife traveled to NJ from Texas and pre-ordered a rental from Hertz. When my arrived at this Hertz to pick up her vehicle she was told that they would not honor the PREPAID reservation for the vehicle. CAR RENTER BEWARE!
