The car I ordered was ready and waiting for me. The staff was very friendly and extremely hardworking. My only true concern is that the business was woefully understaffed. One person had to do everything (run the shuttle bus, sign -out and sign,-in cars and answer the phones). The young men who worked on both of my visits deserve a raise for they did all this and more with a smile.

Convenient location, vehicle was in immaculate condition. Andre is friendly, courteous, and displays a great personal touch to the customer. Andre had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. He went over the explanation of the vehicle, insurance options, pricing, and all necessary paperwork. I would not only recommend Budget but, I would recommend dealing with Andre.

Horrible customer service I extended my rental assuming I wouldnt make it back in time from my trip just to be safe when I made if back a hour later called to cancel they said literally to bad if u bring it back u still will be charged for the day. I will never ever use this place again and when I returned it the next day the police where their looking for someone who had committed a crime In thier vehicle Seems a bit janky. I only went because enterprise who im a platinum member with was fully booked

I picked up a one way rental to be dropped off at this location. I called the customer service number to make sure I could drop my car off after hours and the man on the phone just answered Hello? and I had to ask him if I was speaking to Avis/Budget. He proceeded to tell me with a pretty obvious attitude that they dont have a drop box and the location was already closed. When I asked him what I should do with the vehicle he then proceeded to tell me that they do, in fact, have an after hours drop off.I couldnt find the office because its hidden behind a bunch of other buildings and I had to get the very nice woman at Enterprise to tell me where to go. When I finally found the building I called the 24 hour customer service line again to get clarification on what to do with the keys. The same man I talked to before said, Maam, you already called and I told you were closed and to take the keys to Signature next door. Then this morning I received a call from someone at the location asking where my rental car return is. You guys really need to get it together. I used to work for Avis/Budget and I know damn well that is not how things are done.

No issues, fast, friendly and efficient. Easy access and close to the terminal. Small staff so have patience. Great new Corolla with all the safety software at a good price. One glitch, Avis and Budget are in the same office but the shuttle only has Avis on it. It’s for both.

This is the worst place you could rent a car from. Do not come here to rent anything.RESERVATION:Me and my girl rented from this location for a trip to Georgia. Right from the start we was scammed and mistreated. They set our reservation at 6pm and can you guess what time they close? Then they realized the mistake and calls my girl rushing her to show up at 5:30pm. So already were not too thrilled here. After we arrived, of course theres a line of people outside waiting.FRONT DESK:After we were finally able to be seen, the time now is way after 6pm, so of course hes ready to go home. Our reservation was set for $235 and thats everything included for two days. Now I know there might be some add-ons but from $235 to $498 and not to mention a deposit makes kinda a big difference. He did not go over the fees with us.((SCAM TRICK!!!!))This is how they scam you, be careful. They set your reservation wrong on purpose. Most people need the car right away. So that youre more willing to take it and be mad about the price later.RECIEVING THE VEHICLE:When he gave us the keys to the vehicle he did not walk us to the vehicle. Nor did he or the other guy there inspected it. I have his signature that it was checked and cleaned. So after we was rushed out the building he locked up the doors and left. Did not wanted to answer questions. Now me and my girl standing outside inspecting to see the vehicle we picked out online. but it was completely wrong car even color. Inside the passenger side door was a used bandage and in the back was food everywhere. Guess COVID doesnt exist anymore.RETURNING THE VEHICLE:Coming back from Georgia we got stuck in the storms, accidents and traffic. We was not going to make it that day in time before they closed. My girl called ahead and asked how much if we was to drop it off first thing in the morning since theyre closed on Sunday with no drop box.The guy charge $236 for being a day late. She asked if they can removed the full coverage and ez pass. Since vehicle is just going to sit in their parking lot. Again she was told no,I asked what about the remaining 4hrs that was cut due to you closing early on Sunday. Trying to work with the guy here and hes telling us no. Hes charging us the trip all over again.Now were still waiting for our deposit and if were not refunded this will be going to the Better Business Bureau.

Cheapest price in the area for a 12 passenger van compared to all other budget locations and competitors as well. Pick up and Drop off were stress free. Since its at the airport their hours are GREAT for timing your pick ups and drop offs without stressing over being later than 5pm

I rented from this location more than 20 times and I have always been getting white glove service here! These guys really know what they are doing: no matter if I had a reservation or just walked in without one, they always had a car available for me. Their cars are new, clean and its a pleasure dealing with them overall. If there is an issue, they always take care of it quickly. I highly recommend this location!

First let’s be clear this is a commercial airport budget in name only. There are a total of 9 landings and 9 takeoffs every day. You board the plane using stairs outside and the waiting area has enough room for one plane full of people only.This location has one guy to pick you up from the terminal, check you out, receive returns and clean the cars. 1 guy!!! He’s nice even when being yelled at (I was guilty of this prior to understanding his situation), extremely friendly and efficient.I am thoroughly impressed with his ability to operate an efficient car rental on his own.

Theres always too much difference in the price quoted. It takes them too long to credit back funds to my credit card. They always offer free upgrades and if you happen to extend the entire price goes up. Just not attentive to your needs at all. Its all about the money with them.

Flew in from North Carolina to visit family. Rented from Budget through air ticket site. Was told at checkin that gas would cost $2.99 gal if I didn’t return car with a full tank. Before departing, drove for miles in this unfamiliar area to find a gas station to fill up. No luck. Finally, nervous that we’d miss our return flight, returned to Budget. Was told gas would be $10. a gallon!!! Clerk points to a six inch obscure sign on wall mixed in with a jumble of others to show I’d been notified. $80. for half tank of gas. Buyer beware of these crooks. I will never rent from Budget again.

My flight into trenton was delayed and I didnt land until almost midnight. Andre, the person working the shuttle and counter for budget, was extremely helpful. I called him to let him know we would be arriving late and he assured me that there would be a shuttle when we landed. We got to the rental car facility at around midnight and there were 7 guests in front of me and he was the sole person there. Even though we were the last guests, I was so impressed with Andres professionalism and courteous manner. He was great and helped each of us as quick as possible. He stayed almost until 1 AM even when facility was supposed to close at 12 AM. Great service and great value for the car booked through Costco rentals!

Helpful, hard-working staff. The location is a little obscure but really close to the small, no-hassle airport. When I arrived to drop-off my rental car, the office was locked and there was no answer with knocking. I was confused and about to leave the rental car keys and start walking to the airport to not miss my flight. But then a staff person pulled in to the lot and was returning from dropping off other customers at the airport. He was apologetic and out-of-breath. He opened the office and quickly took care of my rental details. As he worked, he asked when my flight was and nodded, which I appreciated because it was on my mind and I didnt want to be late. 10 minutes later I was being dropped off at the TTN front doors. Would definitely rent from this Budget office again, especially now knowing its location!

Let me say first, Im only giving 1 star because I cant post this review without giving a star.This place is a total rip off. Do not give them your bank info, you will end up having to close the account. Ive now been charged TWICE two weeks after my 4 day rental. This charge of $20.80 was taken out of my account for an unknown charge. Looking into it further, it was for tolls! We PAID CASH for tolls. We didnt even know there was an ezpass. My $400 dollar four day trip ended up costing us almost $700 weeks later.This place is a rip off. Its a scam. The young people working at this place are the rudest, unprofessional group of brats. They mumble answer to your questions and purposely give wrong number for upper management.Sure this place is cheaper, but spend the extra money and go somewhere else. It will be much cheaper in the long run. Shame on this place.

I have been here for almost an hour and a half. The vehicle I had RESERVED was given to someone else. They dont have anything comparable onsite so are trying to find something. Meanwhile my wife and 3mo old granddaughter have to sit and wait as well. Not a good experience.

Based on my experience at this location, I highly recommend NOT to rent at this Budget location.I had a pretty rough experience when I went with my family to rent a car. The associate in this location were not professional and customer friendly.Pickup and drop off to the airport take a long time and you might end up in falling behind your planned schedule.Carefully read the fuel meter while renting your vehicle. Altogether, WORST location to rent the car.

Wish I could give even .5 of a star. Literally one of the worst experiences at a rental car place I have ever had, and Ive rented a lot of cars. The employees were extremely rude and unhelpful, not to mention they genuinely seemed like they were on downers. Eyes half open, mumble-talking. It was very bizarre. They kept trying to hustle my wife into upgrading her car for more money. She had to tell them twice that we were fine with the option we picked, yet they still persisted. Beyond all this, it took an absurdly long time to even get our car we reserved a while back. The entire staff seemed to be completely confused on the location of car keys and how to even work their own computers. After finally getting everything situated, they finally brought us our car, and it ended up being one of the cars they tried to hustle us for a higher price. So either they were just trying to scam us of some extra money by asking if we wanted to pay for it, or they just gave us an upgraded car for more money without telling us.They also told the customer standing next to us that her car had about 3/4 of a full tank of gas, but she needed to return it full or get charged. We overheard them giving attitude to multiple people picking up cars in front of us as well, at one point even demanding that a customer show them their plane ticket for their return flight home in 4 days.avoid this place at all costs. Not worth the headache that they give you in every possible way.

I rented a car from them from January 2nd through January 5th. when I took the car ut had three-quarters of a tank, when I return the car it had 5/8 of a tank. the rental car company charge me $44 for gas claiming I took it at 7/8 of a tank so they charge $9 per gallon to replenish gas themselves. totally ridiculous I get charged more money then it would cost to fill the tank from he when all they had to replenish was allegedly 3/8 of a tank. called and spoke to a manager manager claimed the replenishment amount was in the contract and hes not refunding the $44. gas prices in this state during this time is under $3 a gallon. there are no gas stations within distance of the Rent-a-Car company because its in a very country setting. This is highway robbery! How can you make over 300% profit off of gas replenishment??

I hope that someone at Budgets corporate office reads this review. Ive had to rent from this location several times and EVERY single time Ive had a problem! Lets start with Jamal who is a service rep and his manager Andre. These two people have to be the most rude, unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered in my life!! My last experience was just two days ago.I feel as though they know that rental car choices are very limited at the Trenton-Mercer Airport, so that gives them the upper hand to mistreat people. The place is filthy and quite unorganized, and when you complain to the branch manager Andre, all he ever says is I will speak to Jamal. I specifically asked for contact information to a district manager and was deliberately given a wrong number.I wont mention that I was told that the office would be closed on Sundays and it was my responsibility to park the rental in the employee parking lot, and there wouldnt be a shuttle. As per the instructions provided, I filled the tank up and parked the car. I checked my credit card statement once I returned home. I was charged almost $20.00 over the original rental price. I was told by Andre that I did not fill the tank up!! I told Andre that I had proof that I filled the tank up.Going forward I will pay the higher cost at the other rental agency Enterprise. I had a excellent experience at the Mercer Airport facility. My flight was delayed 7 hours due to weather. Instead of my planned arrival of 9:30 pm, my flight arrived in Trenton at 3:35 am. I could not believe this office stayed open and had me on my way within 45 minutes. I really expected to be sitting on a bench outside of the airport waiting for them to open in the morning. The gentleman stayed in touch with me during the delay and assured me he would wait regardless of the time. I certainly appreciate the extra effort. These days this type of customer service is rare. Bravo Zulu to this Budget office.

If I could give this Budget/Avis location Zero Stars, I would. Firstly, I rent from Budget and there is only an Avis bus there...no notification that I need to get on the Avis bus for Budget. Secondly, I return the car at 8:45 AM...Website says they open at 7:30am. Nobody in site. Door locked. Deserted. My flight leave in about 75 minutes...Im miles and miles from the airport. Had to leave the car in the rental parking lot back at the airport. I get to the gate and call these clowns (very poor English skills, rude, threatening and abusive) said I need to get them the car back to the off-site facility and threatened legal action. Double charge my Credit Card and now Im fighting with VISA....STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

Two guys sat behind desk. One was the guy who drove the shuttle. They sat around and chit chatted with each other for 10-15 minutes for no reason while we stood waiting in the cold part of the time, and inside the rental center part of the time (once we realized he wasn’t in a rush to get us to our flight), before the one guy went outside to go get the shuttle to drive us to the airport, just two minutes away. It was really pretty rude.

I was able to return my vehicle on Sunday at 7pm, which was nice because most places will charge an extra day if they are not open nor have a drop box. However, I was an hour late and was charged a whole extra day. The agent cut the price in half, but nonetheless, I was charged extra.

The best Budget ever, was my first ever car rent experience they made it easy smooth, and very very helpful. First day Andrey showed me all my options and answered all my questions with professionalism and honesty. When I left the office Andrey called me saying that I have forgotten my cell phone. This was time where my respect grew even more for this office because this ty0e of honesty where they call you back to let you know you have forgotten your phone, and keep your phone until you arrive is very hard to find. The car I rented from them had no problems it was a brand new car with a lot of cool features. Unfortunetly here comes the time to return, and upon my return Andrey was not there but his coworker Jamal was there and he also helped me out very much. They both made my renting progress very easy and very professional. Thank you Andrey and Jamal. Had to leave the car, no drop box for the key, had to take an UBER to the airport because no one was there to drive the shuttle. Left several voicemails, never received a call back. Jamal is one of the rudest, unhappy individuals I have ever met. He acts like the customers are an inconvenience. No hello, no eye contact, just mumbles when he waits on you. God forbid he would smile. The inside of the Budget office looks like a garbage pit. The Russian girl just drove me over to the airport in the rental car (not the shuttle) she blew 2 stop signs and was driving like a complete maniac. I feared for my life and it was only a 2 minute ride! This place needs serious help! I would give them a zero if I could!

If I could leave no stars, it would probably be more appropriate ... seing how rude these guys were. Had mechanical failures on I-95 and ended up having to rent a vehicle from this location 5+hr after the car troubles. I was tired of hauling my stuff around, dealing with insurance company/dealership that had my car and calling around for a rental vehicle since things were closed.I informed customer service rep that I would be dropping the car in MD and not back at their location. Was told this would be okay and the contract would be written up as so. When I arrived, the customer service rep was leaving his shift and I ended up waiting 30+ min for someone else to help me. After mentioning that I would be in MD (verified by Driver license), contract was written up for pickup/drop-off at the same location. I didnt even notice it and 16+hr later went I went to return the car --- bamn $200+ fee.Altogether $350- to rent a Hyundai Sonata for 163 miles ... apparently, people have paid as high as $800 penalty for returning cars in different locations. Also, apparently there is a 15% concession recovery fee, another license recoup fee. Im usually very good at reading service contracts even if they are several pages but this goes to show what happens when you are very tired and dealing with rude customer service reps.

Ive been renting here for 4 years and wont go anywhere else. I dont know why others have had negative experiences, but Ive found the staff to be friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The trucks and cars Ive rented have all been very clean and loaded! The price that Im quoted is the price that I pay. They accept AAA and Entertainment Book discounts and give me upgrades if the car I request isnt available. Just FYI, every trip Ive booked with them for has been 8-17 hours and each vehicle has been comfy and spacious enough that I fell in love! Im about to rent again for an emergency trip and just happened to see some negative reviews. I felt strongly enough to take a moment out of my busy schedule to write a review!

Waited for shuttle for 40 minutes. Called them they said they should be there in 10 minutes. Waited for 20 then got fed up and rented from enterprise. He called me 20 minutes after I left to tellMe they are waiting for me. He then lied to me that they picked a passenger from my plane which cannot be true because I was the first one off the plane and to the terminal.Would never rent from this location.Use enterprise in the terminal.

The drop off to Trenton airport has NO that’s right NO signs. Google maps on your web site takes you to the terminal not the drop off spot. Honestly if I could rate less than 1 star I would. The staff is HORRIBLY rude. Sounded very nice over the phone. When we got on the shuttle he immediately started driving extremely quickly and just completely unsafe for a shuttle. The guy working at the counter (no name tag) is so rude and just mouthed off to another customer because it is warm in here so he gave her a ridiculous amount of attitude about the AC. Understaffed. Bad location. But had the employees been nice it would have been fine. I guess I dont have high expectations of this site. First, it was hard to locate. They should put a sign near the airport that Budget is still a mile away. I have to ask someone at the airport parking lot. Once there, the sign was very small and very difficult to see? I have to make a U-turn and continue the search. This is like a makeshift rental site inside a warehouse. There are no waiting areas or chairs. We waited for our pickup to the airport standing outside the building and it wasnt short. Im glad we were early for our flight so we didnt mind too much of the waiting.

Go anywhere but here to rent a car. Been waiting an hour and still people in front of me. The guy that drives the shuttle is the same guy that runs the counter. No apologies for the wait time. He is digging for keys in cardboard boxes. If no stars were an option I would have picked that.

1. I waited 25 minues for the shuttle to come pick me up. 2. Once I dropped the car off, I never received a receipt after requesting one. 3. I called days later and was hung up on repeatedly, asked to wait two minutes, etc. 4. This airport is small, but I would recommend going elsewhere with your service.

My mom and I were running late for our flight. We rushed into the Budget rental office and the associate was very kind, checked us out quickly, and zipped us over the the airport! SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS!!! I figured how to upload my pics of proof of their fraudulent charges. I went through a 3rd party company to book car which they don’t like to honor because of the cheaper rate nor do they like if you get your insurance through the 3rd party they claim that does not cover the vehicle and try to force you to pay their rat even if you come in their with your own coverage (which we have full coverage) .. so i rented the car. The guy told us give him a few mins the car has to be vacuumed.. we walked out to wait the car however never moved to be cleaned. He walked over and handed us the keys which is strange because enterprise will walk over the entire car with you before letting you leave. We didn’t complain because we had a 2.5 hr drive and had reservations elsewhere.. we however when returning the car vacuumed it and put the gas back on full.. when we returned the car we had the guy come look at car which he looked everywhere inside car before we left and said the car was fine and checked us out and with receipt in hand it checked the car out as in good condition and full tank of gas with the original charge of $228.08.. 2 days later i check my credit car statement they charged me $543.63!!! I flipped our and called him and he said it was a cleaning charge for smoking.. I NOR DO MY HUSBAND SMOKE AT ALL NOR WAS THERE ANY OTHER PASSENGERS!!! We went hiking in the Appalachians...over 20 miles.. definitely don’t have smoker lungs.. i called Corporate they are a joke also they basically said this is the only location that have this charge and they can not do anything about it!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! No matter how much I argued with them there is nothing they can do nor will do because the car company claims they have proof!!!! So the charges are gonna remain no matter what my argument is and i promise i will never rent from them again and I will make sure all my friends and family members will never have and business dealings with them either..posting to my social media accounts to make sure everyone hears my story and never have to deal with this location again!!!

Would not even give one star at all if I could rate and text a comment. Office staff very rude not customer friendly at all. Area is away from terminal shuttle bus driver did not assist with luggage. The worse problem was we were told there would be a shuttle in the morning at 5:30 for a 6:30 flight. I was traveling with my 88 year old mother and my husband who in May had open heart surgery for a very rare problem....well no shuttle showed up. The night before someone called to confirm a shuttle would be there said it will be the manager. We waited as long as we could, could not possibly walk. Drove back to the airport to leave the car. My husband was so aggravated and anxious experienced chest pain. He was the last to board the fligh.When the Budget e.ployee called he did not apologize state no extra charge for airport car pick up and spun a different story about why a shuttle was not there. Mean while my husband remained anxious and very upset put a bad taste in our mouth about renting from Budget again! Terrible experience

Andre put all the passengers of the shuttle van in danger. His speeding and aggressive driving was ridiculous! The airport location is less than 2 miles from the airport and he was speeding the whole time. On the way back to the airport, he brought us in our rental car and he was going 65 MPH when the speed limit was 40 MPH. Dont bother complaining to the location about him, he is the manager and claims there is nobody above him. People have been complaining to corporate since 2014 and he is still there doing the same things. Read the reviews.

If I could give god location negative numbers I would.. this place is definitely a place to get robbed.. They don’t like if you go through a 3rd party booking agency to get a cheaper rate because if you do they lose and then they will lie and put fraudulent charges on your account. First off i want to say I LOVE PRICELINE. That’s who I went through. The rate was great. However they don’t like honoring their insurance you purchase through them nor the discount rate. When i picked my rental up it was not vacuumed or washed. No problem.. did however have a full tank of gas. I dropped the rental off an hour early with a full tank of gas and it was vacuumed.. my close out receipt says $228.08 however the company then charged my card an additional amount of money which the total bill end up being almost $544.. the fraudulent claims they made was that they found ashes in the car which is bs because we made him come out and look throughout car before he checked us out.. he looked all through the car .. got my receipt and left.. me nor my husband smoke. No other passengers was in car.. We went hiking in the Appalachians 12 up and 12miles down in the mountains, do you actually think a smoker lungs will even attempt this.. I contacted corporate which is a waste of time because they told me this is the only location that charges a smoking charge and they can’t do nothing about it regardless If I tell them I dont smoke.. I will never deal with any of Budgets locations at all because they allowed this to happen.. SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS!!! Poor customer service, rude counter persons and rip off with their gas gauge readings. I brought the vehicle back with the same amount of gas I got it with (per instructions when I reserved online) then was charged an extra $56.29 the next day which Im disputing. It was less than half a tank when I picked it up. First he tried to say it was on a full tank then he looked it up on the computer and said no, it was a little more than half a tank. So I said now what. He tells me to go get more gas. I said no, you were wrong about it being a full tank and youre still wrong about it being a little more than a half tank so I shouldnt have to pay anything. I said youre really going to argue with me over a couple gallons of gas and he said yes! I left.I also had to wait 40 minutes when I picked the vehicle up even though the reservation was made the week before. No apology for that from the same little dark haired guy and he acted as though he was doing me a favor. The only good thing about this place was the vehicle itself.[UPDATE] Kept getting the runaround with the 800 customer service number until I threaten to call the Better Business Bureau. Got a live person, their name, address to headquarters and an email address. The $56.29 will be refunded to my credit card within 7-10 business days.The little dark haired guy at this location was so nasty and told me when I left that hed just charge my credit card. So I know he put that high amount on there to be smart and his already nasty self.My advice to anyone using this location is to take a picture of the gas gauge at pick up and make sure its correct on the paperwork they give you. Also complain if youre treated as I was, nasty from the beginning to end.Happy I remained calm, didnt argue with the guy at that location and took my complaint to headquarters where I was treated kindly and with respect!

I now have a FastBreak card, because I never use any other car rental company. Budget has always been the biggest bang for the buck, with friendly staff, well maintained and clean vehicles, and always in the locations most convenient for me. I have had two experiences with location at TTN. Both times, the staff was great, and I ended up with upgraded vehicles! I love this location!

The only reason why I even gave it a 1 star is because I couldnt write a review without it. This is ridiculous. He needs to be fired. He treated me and my boyfriend with utter disrespect.We flew into Trenton on Dec. 29th and my boyfriend had made reservations online prior to coming to the rental place. My boyfriends license was a little damaged from all the bouncers bending it, hence the hologram was coming off. He is also under the age of 23, so they were going to charge him extra, but we got that fee waived online too by becoming a USAA member. When we got to the airport, he picked us up in the shuttle and took us to the Avis/Budget offices. He was constantly honking at drivers and passengers who were hugging their family/friends and flashing high beams at them. We figured that was a jersey thing and let it go, but as soon as we got to the office, there was another Russian man there too giving us weird looks.We dont know whether it was because of our race, or what, they kept asking my boyfriend questions with total disrespect, wasted our time, didnt let us rent the car because something was wrong with the license but he wouldnt tell us what. The other Russian guy kept questioning and weirdly interrogated my boyfriend when nothing was wrong and started asking us all these questions about insurance and stuff when no rental company ever does. We asked for a customer service number from him so we can call to figure out what was wrong, but he wouldnt even give us that number.Needless to say we were stranded on the airport for a good bit. He took us back to the airport, did not help us with our luggage or anything (we had 4 bags total). We then tried our luck with enterprise. We just wanted to get a car and get to our hotel. The manager aka Andre from Avis called the guy working at Enterprise and told him we were coming there and he told him not to give us a rental. I figured out his name because I saw the name on his phone calling as soon as we got to the counter.We got the man at Enterprise to go check my boyfriends license with the sheriff officers outside and there was absolutely nothing wrong!!! We ended up wasting 3 hours to get a rental car, paid double the price at Enterprise, got disrespected because of our race.Andre needs to be fired. There are so many comments about him and reviews about how terrible of a person he is.On our way back we had to pick up a rental at another location, and had to return the car at the same location. We had more bags on the way back and he didnt help us carry a single bag. Unfortunately we had to face that dog again, not the way I wanted to end or begin my trip.I highly recommend not to go to this location to rent a car ever. I will complain to corporate, I will take action to get this man fired.

The agent, Jamal was an ass. Besides his attitude, my car only had 7/8, so after keeping me waiting an additional 10 minutes, he said it was taken care of. It wasnt. When I returned the car to LaGuardia they made the adjustment there.Also, we got picked up at the airport, dropped off at the car rental place, and told to wait. Jamal returned 15 minutes later with another group of renters. He was the driver & only agent. Pretty rinky dink operation.

He proceeded to the desk to book us a reservation, but I had book the reservation online during transport.When he found out that we had book online last minute during transport he became furious, harsh, and hostile.We could not understand the sudden change until another customer said something looks unethical.We later understand that he had a very expensive rate offer at the office, but online had discounted rates. He refused was to honor our online booking, and stated that we should not have book last minute online. We told him his makes absolutely no sense, a booking is a booking and should be honored.When we ask him why he refused to honor our reservation, he abruptly said I owe you nothing, and I am not giving you that vehicle for that price, you need to pay my priceI tried explaining to him that this was unfair and unethical but he refused to listen. I ask for a manager, he said his decision is final because he is the superior.I proceed to call the (1800) customer service number from my cell phone, but this makes him angry and even more furious.While I am speaking to customer service, he rudely shouted, I am the supervisor, and I want you to leave, I am not giving you any of my cars.I look out side in an attempt to leave, but then remembered that he brought us there from the airport and we have no immediate means of escaping. Outside was dark and isolated, we did not know where we were. This was our first time at this airport. We felt alone and I was in fear for my life. He was pointing to the door in an intimidating manner.I called 911 immediately, and thankfully the Sheriffs department responded in minutes. Sending three officers.With the presence of the Sheriffs this employee attempted to discriminate against my license in his defense, saying it does not look good. The Sheriffs varifed that my license was good, clean and valid.He then realized he could no loner intimidate us in the presence of the officers, so he offered us a small car as our only choice. He stated that the large vehicle we had booked was no longer available, and refuses to match it with a vechle of similar size.We told him we are allergic to cigarettes smoke.Still he gave us the tiniest car on the lot,(a feaesta) inlui of our booking for a RAM truck and charge us the same rate, and additional fees without explanation.We signed the document he presented, just to get out of his space with a vechle.He locked the office and left as soon as we went outside.He did not show us where the car was parked.Neither, did he gave us a chance to inspect the car.As soon as we drove off, we started getting sick.Turned out, the tiny car was not clean, it is dirty, stinky and worst of all it is filled with cigarettes smoke, the very thing we are allergic to which we had advised him.We pulled over, and called customer service but they are all closed.We are on our own until customer service reopen.I WILL UPDATE THIS POST AS SOON AS CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPOND TO ME.IF THERES AN OWNER SOMEWHERE, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO INTERVENE.I AM DISAPPOINTED TO THE FULLEST WITH THIS OPERATION.HOW I PROCEED IS DEPENDENT ON THE RESPONSE OF SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY.SOMETIMES A COMPANY CANT BE JUDGED BY ONE BAD EMPLOYEE.I AM A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, AND A CHRISTIAN WOMAN.
