I booked my reservation with U-Haul three weeks in advance to travel 800 miles from Traverse City to northern Minnesota.On Sunday, the day before, I find out Uhaul had no trucks. I found this out all on my own. No emails, no texts, no correspondence from them. I had to call tracking to figure this out.That day around 1:00 I went online and booked a reservation with PENSKE.Around 4:00 someone from PENSKE called me. Very nice and polite.I asked if I booked a reservation would there be trucks available. “Absolutely, no question about it and fully gassed and ready to go.”I received another text a few days before I left. Just letting me know what I had reserved.But, the absolute best was showing up at the PENSKE facility and working with Kristy. She had everything ready.Polite. Courteous. And above all knowledgeable. She explained everything in an expedient manner. You simply don’t find people like this anymore.Trucks were clean. Two auto trailers all very nice.I will never call U-Haul again. Nothing but headaches.After working with a competent person who was organized and had it all taken care of, PENSKE is worth every bit.Before you do anything, please book a reservation. Very customer friendly but found out the 12 ft. truck did not have a ramp and the one question i did not ask about. A nice 2020 truck tho and clean and the price was good anyways !

The Penske Truck Rental in Traverse City is all we use for our rental needs for the Michigan Hop Alliance. Very clean and well maintained fleet. We have always been very satisfied with the service and selection. Even though it’s a very busy operation, they still handle each transaction like they care.

Great comfort in GM drivers seat for 1600 mile trip ( Im just under 6foot tall ). Was a good trip and you guys/gal made it better.

Had a little issue with the mileage on the paperwork, numbers werent adding up and I got a little short. They were nothing but considerate and took care of everything. Very professional staff and will glady work with them in the future for business ventures and personal use.
