Negative 5BEWARE! DO NOT USE THEM.AFTER GIVING THEM A SECOND CHANCE, BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME THEY WERE RUDE, AND TAKING CARE OF PERSONAL BUSINESS AND NOT THEY CUSTOMERS I GAVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE. I WENT TO RENT A CAR DOLLY AFTER THEY LOOKED AT THE CAR TRUCK THEY SAID WE NEEDED LIGHTS, WENT AND GOT EVERYTHING INSTALLED 75$ LATER AND THEN THEY SAID THEY WOULDNT LET US USE THE TRUCK. THEY COMPLETELY SCREWED US!!!! THEY REFUSE TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND YOU HAVE NO RECOURSE BECAUSE THEY ARE PRIVATELY OWNED.. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!! THEY ARE AWEFUL.

Great people to work with. We had rented a pick-up truck and rain forced us to need to change to a van, they were able to help us out and make that change at the last second. Most places would have told us no, and that would have been understandable, but being able to work with us put them above and beyond.

Very nice people. Very easy to deal with and not condescending (sometimes you get those kinds of people in U-Haul services). Also they hire young people. I dont see that that much anymore but whenever I do I like to rate higher because the employer is taking a chance to help someone young start on their path.

Just wasted 2 hours of driving to find out that the truck we reserved isnt even there and we cant tow what we need to. They gave us 2 wrong addresses and when we finally got the new one we were redirected and when we got there they told us they didnt have any trucks. They also said they tried to call us and left a message and we didnt get a phone call and still no message on our phone. Im very upset. We needed it for a 4 hour drive downstate and have been stressing all day to get a uhaul set up. We literally talked to them 3 minutes prior to actually showing up there nobody told us about not having what we need. Now our entire weekend was wasted and I missed out on work hours being here. Completely unreliable and a horrible experience altogether.

I was going to rate higher, but after dropping off the trailer I rented here at a different location, I was informed that the equipment I paid for was faulty. Apparently I was given a trailer with malfunctioning turn signals and brake lights. Im lucky I didnt get a ticket during my trip! If you rent, make sure to check the lights yourself before you leave the store.

I had a 2 day rental from Uhaul that was due Monday. I called here on Sunday to ask if dropping it off after hours would still be considered same day drop off. I was told yes that they would check it in in the morning and it would be considered dropped off by Monday. Well they charged me a $30 extra day fee when they checked it in on Tuesday. When I called the guy told me that I must not have been clear about what I wanted, I was very clear. Had I been told it needed to be there by 3pm I would have left Marquette earlier in the day. He was rude and said, Yeah you can drop it off after hours and it is considered the same day but you will still get charged the extra day charge. How does that even make sense??? Will never go here again, they obviously tell their customers one thing and then do something different.

I have had nothing but problems with this Uhaul location. From employees cussing out my girlfriend because they are having a bad day to reservations not being at this location. What is the point of a reservation if you’re not gonna have a truck? I am moving on Saturday and luckily I called to double check the reservation because if I showed up on the day of the move and there was no truck I would have been S.O.L. I will never in my life recommend or use uhaul again nor will I ever recommend this location. The employee I spoke to even admitted that he doesn’t know why they use uhaul at this location and did nothing but bad mouth the company. If there was a zero star option I would have used that.

I did not think they were open Sunday so I called Sat morning to see if I got the trailer now and used it Sunday to be returned Sunday later afternoon if that would be ok more like a 30 hour rental because I thought hey would be closed. I had no intention on using the trailer at all on Saturday either in all 8 hours. The guy said yes.....not telling me they are open Sunday because he did not know that they ARE open Sunday. So 35 one way minute drive there and now they wanted to charge me for two days. The owner said if I were to come there at 12:30 vs 11:30 when I got there he might be able to do it or charge me double if I take it now. I wish the other guy would of just told me to go you know what to myself and saved me all the trouble of going in there. So I ended up renting in Mancelona and paid them double for the one way rental out of spite for so upset at airport location.
