We originally called for a leaking pipe. To be honest, I had to have them come back the next day because it was still leaking. That said, we ended up wanting to have several pipes replaced and asked for a quote. It was a lot but it was a big job (pipes run through the crawl space). They did a fantastic job and the final cost was a third less than what was quoted. On time, very courteous and friendly from speaking with Brandy originally to Greg, our technician, and his partner. I am very satisfied with services. We had them connect a second bathroom in our house & we bought the house not knowing anything about what needed to be done with it. The previous owners hadn’t connected anything and after a few Rotor-Rooter visits with different cameras & gear & people, they finally got it figured out & made a game plan. From there it was good, any problems that came up they had all the gear with them to fix it & keep moving forward. I’m so used to having services where I’m told they don’t have the part or it’ll cost extra or they’ll have to come back a different time that it was refreshing that they just do everything! These guys all know their stuff! They had a great team working, but the only names I know are Greg & Wes & both of those guys were super friendly & so helpful. This was the FOURTH plumbing service we had out to try to diagnose the problem. Every one before Roto-Rooter completely gave up after one visit, with most telling us “this is a young man’s job” or “I didn’t wear the right clothes to crawl around & get dirty” never to be heard from again. Seriously.As a 9 month pregnant mom, I appreciate all their hard work to get this done before baby comes!

Tom Did an excellent job when he came to pump out our tank. As new home owners (4years in) we knew we were ready for a pump out but had no idea how to check the tank or where it was located. He took the time to fill me in on everything. Where the tank was located, how to check the level, and even how to maintain a healthy tank. No sales just pure good information. 10/10 would use again and recommend.

I have a 120 year old farmhouse that had 100 year old plumbing. The office staff are top notch, professional and friendly EVERY time you call. Wes came out to Northport to give me an estimate to replace all of the old galvanized steel pipes and cast iron drain pipes-a huge job!. They were able to fit me in in a timely fashion. Wes and Greg came out and did an absolutely amazing job. I just cant say enough good things about the whole experience. They got a very difficult job done in exactly the time and price that they estimated. Just like the office staff, professional and friendly. They really know what theyre doing and keep you in the loop as they go. I can see why the Google reviews are so positive for Roto Rooter of Traverse City. Another 5 stars for them!

My bathroom flooded after doing a load of laundry in my washer and the drains somehow were all clogged. So I called and made an appt. They said a technician would be here the following day between 1pm & 4pm (they offered an after hours service but I decided to just wait) and about 10 minutes before 1pm I received a call that they were on their way. I also received a text with a link that showed an exact ETA which was cool. The technician was very friendly and professional. He told me what work he did and didnt leave any kind of mess behind! Im very happy with my experience and will gladly call them in the future if needed! Thanks!

After having my bathtub fill up fairly dramatically one day, I called Roto-Rooter to come out and unclog the drain but they initially thought the pipe was broken. I scheduled an appointment to have them come out and fix it, and while the estimate was quite a bit lower than I thought it might have been it turns out they didnt even need to do it because the technician, Matt, who came out was able to clear the drain after taking a second look! They didnt charge me at all for the second visit and man explained everything to me over the phone. Very educational, and very good service.

I dont think Ive ever left a google review, but felt compelled to do so in this case. The basement of our new house flooded late Thursday night with 1 of standing water after doing laundry and the sump pump ran continuously after. We contacted another local company Friday morning who indicated that we were first on the after hours list, could be any time before or after 5, well call you, sadly, we were ghosted after canceling all plans/waiting by the phone all day, it got late, and the issue was stable enough for the night. After reading the Roto reviews, we gave them a shot. My call was answered promptly, within 40 minutes Alex was at my house (on an on call holiday), and in probably less than an hour a new/the right sump pump was installed (previous owners installed a pump not made to grind solids/waste so it was constantly clogging), alongside all sorts of helpful tips and education. Alex was paced, personable, professional, and definitely knows his stuff. Well absolutely be return customers for future plumbing needs and upcoming septic tank work. If you can, ask for Alex!

After being brushed off by other people for 4 weeks, I finally called roto-rooter who scheduled me same week and fixed my problem in less than 30 minutes in out and cleaned up. Fast, efficient, and super friendly, both in person and at the scheduling office. Text notification was also a bonus.

I have had Alex come out to the house on 2 separate occasions. The first time I had a leak in my basement coming from somewhere in my kitchen. I had a contractor initially, then a plumber & none of them could find the leak. The plumber suggested Roto Rooter & Alex came out. He’s the one who found the leak (without much trouble), repaired it & even helped me with some concerns I had in a bathroom. And it was cheaper than what the plumber charged me! I had a clog at another time & of course I called & had Alex come out & take care of it. Roto Rooter (& especially Alex) is my first call for any plumbing issues!

Approximately 2 years ago I had 3 high end toilets installed at my Inn. Matt was AMAZNG to work with! So much so, I made certain to retain his cell number. Last week a guest contacted me regarding an issue with one of these toilets. I contacted Matt via his cell phone. Though Matt had moved to another position within the company, he oversaw my issue through to completion! In these days when most companies seem to focus only upon making the sale, it was beyond refreshing to experience an employee do the reverse - that being, going above and beyond to make this experience as good as possible for me - the customer! I had the main water line from my house break, limiting my water use and generally a bad time. Called another company in town first, and got blown off. I should have called Roto Rooter first. Matt was the first person I talked to and he was cool, easy to work with, and very informative. Steffan came out first to do the repair, and got started immediately. Matt and his team were careful about gas lines, power lines and dug the pipes out & replaced them pretty quick. All members of the team involved today showed me things that were being replaced, and gave me an overall great idea as to what I had going on prior. Ill definitely call them first from now on. Beers well earned. 10/5 stars.

I have needed the plumbing services twice in the past few days. The 1st was an emergency and I received immediate service. Alex was quite knowledgeable and quickly found the reason for my toilet and bathtub overflowing (main pipe blockage to septic tank). The matter was fixed and I was quite satisfied with his professionalism and quick remedy.I also needed to have the toilet replaced and Greg also was quite pleasant and took care to clean up the ruminants of the installation.The prices charged are fair and reasonable. I wont hesitate to call Roto-Rooter in the future should I need plumbing or septic services. I cant recommend them enough.

Our service professional Tom Jamieson was right on time, friendly, confident and knowledgeable. We thought our tank needed pumping out and he told us it wasnt necessary. He knew exactly what the problem was as he has delt with it much. He had our drain unclogged and draining properly in about a half an hour. The cost was even $50 less than the minimum I was quoted on the phone. I was extremely pleased with the services provided by Tom. It felt as if we were dealing with a friend! We asked for a diagnosis and estimate. Matt came, checked out our problem and said he’d have estimate within 24 hrs. He was quick and efficient and never batted an eye that we are in the middle of nowhere!

The techs were very professional. Thought I had a drain clog, but the problem was more serious. Perhaps drain field replacement. They cleaned the septic tank and I will have to pursue the potential problem. This is over 40 years, so It is no doubt time to replace the drain fields. I was given good advice. I would recommend this company.

This was our first experience with Roto-Rooter and it was outstanding. We first spoke with Matthew who was responsive, extremely helpful and quick to connect us with a technician. When Spencer arrived he was just as responsive. He was also courteous, helpful and figured out and fixed our problem quickly. He cleaned up after he was done and kept safety in mind the entire visit by wearing his mask. Matthew checked in with us after the visit too. He answered all my annoying questions and didn’t get frustrated with the extra pop bottles under the sink *sorry*.He pulled in a minute early, and I pulled in right behind him. Got the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. And it didn’t cost an arm and a leg, thankfully.

My small bathroom has been backed up on and off for a few days now, despite my frustration they were very kind and professional. Tim Grimm was our repair man and was very kind and professional as well, he came out 2 times and fixed our problem, when it happened again he came out again and tried to back up our bathroom and nothing happened, I felt so bad for wasting his time... he was so kind about it, absolutely satisfied with what Rotor rooter did for us today. Initial inspection, servicing, and analysis of outdoor drainage issue was prompt, affordable, and a generally good experience. Obtaining an estimate for the subsequent work needed and then getting that service scheduled was less than efficient. It took multiple weeks to receive an estimate, another week to schedule the repair, and then the repair was rescheduled last minute to later in the week. The team then showed up a day after the rescheduled time and I was not notified until they were en route. The technicians themselves were great; the office team in charge of scheduling, not so much.

From start to finish, the team was precise, professional, and accommodating. Brandy, Mariah, and Spencer were like the 3 musketeers of septic pumping service. The added touch of introducing the service technician via profile and name was awesome. Top notch customer service, couldnt ask for anything else.

What a wonderful, terrific company! With sewage backing up into both bathrooms, I called about 6:30 am and they had someone here by 7:30. Before it was over, there were two trucks and three guys here for over an hour, Up on the roof, down in the crawl space and in the yard over and over again. One gentleman, Tom, was here until 2:30 in the afternoon. They did not give up until they had fully diagnosed and repaired the problem. We had a clogged pipe somewhere and we called Roto Rooter. Alex and his team came out, diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes and we found out our septic needed to be pumped. I thought we had to schedule it and Alex said his company does it and he called...lo and behold Johnny was on his way thing 20 minutes! We were very impressed with the professionalism, the experience and the speed at which this was done, not to mention it came in much cheaper than we thought (VERY THANKFUL).
