Last week a pair of young men came to my home to clean my carpets. I had no high hopes of getting the results I had envisioned before they arrived because I have a 3 year old toddler and a dog who sheds like crazy. Needless to say, my carpets were a mess! They made no promises, but they worked so intensely and efficiently (even on dog puke and raspberry stains), and my carpets and upholstery now look new again! I was absolutely amazed! Thanks guys for being a great team— your friendliness and humor also made my day. I would definitely use this company again… have already referred them to two other people…. Nate and Eric were a pleasure to work and did an excellent job cleaning our carpets. They called ahead, arrived on time and were extremely professional. I was blown away by how affordable their service was.

EDITED at company request. I had to have them come to my house 3 times. The first time, they were over an hour past their scheduled appointment time and didnt enter the house to clean. I had informed them when scheduling that I had an appointment immediately after and would need to be out of the house. They assured me it wasnt a problem, in fact I didnt need to be there at all. Except, the cleaners didnt go in to clean. They made me reschedule! Second time, the carpets were saturated! Even 24 hours later, they were still damp and smelled like mold and cat urine. Yes, I own cats but this was so strong in my 3 season room that I left all the windows open to air it out then had to carpet clean it myself in order to stand going in there! They gave me a huge hassle about coming back to clean the carpets after their first attempt. When they came back the third time, the carpets were as I expected them, damp to nearly dry and smelled of deodorizer. The cleaning crew informed us that one of their trucks was down the day of the first cleaning and he had to do a double clean in the 3 season room because the water he was getting up was so dark. When I called the manager asking why the first attempt didnt go well but the second did, he admitted to the truck being down and using older technology that had worked for 20 years. He couldnt figure out why it didnt work at my house. Now that the carpets are dry and Ive been able to move furniture back into carpeted rooms, after they took up my kitchen for over a week, the carpets still stink worse than initially but the stains are gone. I recommend buying a Bissell and doing it yourself. Its cheaper and a lot less hastle.

We used GT cleaners for the first time for carpet cleaning and duct cleaning. Nate and Eric provided the service, Nate for duct cleaning and Eric for carpets.we were very pleased. They were polite and professional, respectful of owners and property (even wore masks).They provided the service in a timely manner, even moving more furniture than we originally asked for. The ducts were full of dog hair and dust. The carpets look like new. We will definitly use Nate and Eric again.

I’m pleased to report that Nate and Erik just finished cleaning my carpets, and they look brand new! First I set up my appointment with Alex who was very polite and professional. She was patient as I asked about and took notes on all their rates. The rate was FAR better than what Stanley Steamer charged. Then Erik called ahead of time, so I knew they were on their way. That’s so helpful. They were on time and got to work right away. I had 6 rooms done and all got treated with Scotch Guard. They moved all the furniture and got under chairs and couches - all the places I asked them to do. They worked very well as a team, were very flexible when I wanted to add another room to the list. They were friendly and professional. They could not have been nicer or more polite, and they did an outstanding job on all my carpets. I’ll definitely be calling Grand Traverse Carpet Cleaners again, and I’d love it if Nate and Erik were to come here again! Great job!

We LOVE our carpet and tile again! GTCC had fast, friendly, and superior service. They cleaned our three bedrooms, and steam cleaned our foyer tile and grout - which sparkles now like new!We did have an issue with our berber carpet pulling up dirt from the pad when it dried. GTCC promptly and professionally responded to our request to return for a second run over two trouble spots. While we were more than willing to pay them to remove our stubborn stains, they wanted to be sure we were satisfied and took care of it at no additional charge. The service desk and manager were both top notch!

The crew showed up half an hour after the two hour window I was given with no call, then they cleaned my tile and grout and it did not look any cleaner than before they came... They told me it was my grout when I asked before they left. I hired them so I did not have to clean my floors myself, but after they left I got out my personal pressurized steam cleaner and tested an area that they had cleaned. As you can see from the photos below, my home cleaner cleaned the grout better than their machine. I have had Stanley out to do the grout before and it looked pristine when they left. I was bummed for the price to not really have made any progress.

Admittedly, I was a bit worried because they were so late arriving to the appointed time, but Nate and David were extremely apologetic and got right to work. Nate arrived on time and was very professional. Even though he was working alone, he cleaned the carpets of 2 bedroom, the den, the hallway, the stairway AND my 5th wheel in about 1.5 hours. UPDATE 2021: It’s been about a year and we had GTCC come clean our carpets. Nate and Eric were professional and efficient. Would definitely continue to use them! (And Nate still remembered m cat’s name! Sweet!)2020: Nate and Anthony did a great job cleaning the ducts in our house. The home is only 2 years old but we moved in before it was quite done so they werent really fully cleaned after construction. The lower level didnt look too bad when Nate inspected so he offered us the option to forego that part and save some money. We declined because I just wanted to get the whole house on the same schedule, but we much appreciate their honest consideration. They were efficient, clean, left things in as good or better shape than when they arrived.Nate and Andrew returned a couple weeks later cleaned our carpets and our tile and did a terrific job. The shower had hard water stains that I tried to clean to no avail. Looks like new now! They are professional and courteous, and thoughtful about how their work may impact the home or your comfort. And they remembered my cat’s name (he’s the family greeter)! Again, we’ll call them next time we need these services.

I was so pleased with GT Carpet Cleanings customer service! They were polite on the phone and in person and were very accommodating when I needed to schedule a cleaning with short notice and at a certain time! They even sent an extra crew out to help to get the job done faster so I could move in sooner! Just so great!However, when it was all done, the floors werent clean! I got tile/grout and carpets cleaned and it looks exactly the same when it all dried. Theres dried muddy water on all edges of the tile around the room. Its been two days now and my feet are filthy just from walking on the carpet only! The tile grout is still so dark. Im so glad I opted out of the sealer or I would have had an even harder time cleaning the grout myself after they had finished. Ive got a lot more cleaning to do, I was just hoping this would save me some time. I was disappointed after having such a great experience with the crew!

Wes and Don arrived promptly within the promised time range and were very pleasant and accommodating. They did a beautiful job cleaning and obviously take pride in their work. The men who showed up to clean my eight ducts spent about 20 minutes from start to finish. They didnt explain anything to me, they didnt mention(or do) the antimicrobial treatment I wanted, they didnt clean any part of the furnace or the vent covers like it says they do on their website, and they left dust and debris everywhere in my house. My son and I both got sick after they loosened up the debris in the vents. I left a message on their website addressing my concerns and they didnt respond. I went into their office and the man told me they are not HVAC certified so they couldnt touch my furnace other than under the filter(which they did not do). It says on their website, All accesable parts of furnace/AC unit are completely cleaned(without dismantling) including the blower and evaporator coil. I could have done a better job with a shop vac and saved $300.

I am very happy. When we sold our parents house, last year we had them in to actually clean up after a big-name carpet cleaner left soap in the carpet to the point it felt slimy and gritty. They arrived when expected, they are very friendly/outgoing, they are very thorough and do a great job, they have a quick post-game session and explain how the job went and any problem areas they ran into, and most importantly: they are EXTREMELY well-priced. I would best describe my interaction with this company as argumentative and unprofessional. I called to inquire about having our rugs cleaned, and they said they had availability. I honestly thought I was calling Stanley Steemer whom we have used before, and no one corrected me when I was scheduling. They said they wanted to confirm my information even though I have never actually been a customer, which now seems incredibly dishonest as a business. They cancelled the day before the 4th of July holiday because an entire crew didnt show up for work (seriously this is what they told me) and when they showed up on July 5th, they spent less than 2 hours in our house (2300 sq feet) to clean and deodorize our carpets. We have pets and have this done every year, it has never taken less than 4 hours. When I called to express concern about the dishonest way the company was represented, John immediately cut me off and said theres no way anyone answered the phone and didnt say our name. He continued to have an unprofessional attitude and I decided to end the conversation. I tried to reach out to the company first, and this was how they treated me. I also work in a service industry and cannot imagine treating my clients this way. Needless to say, this is the first Google review I have ever written and I couldnt give them more than 1 star, but I feel strongly about having only trustworthy people in my home and I would not work with this company again. . I hope this feedback allows them to do better for their customers in the future.

Had them do DUCT CLEANING. Arrived on time, excellent work, professional staff and quick but thorough. Everything you want in a contractor. Will hire them again. and you should as well.

Didnt clean all the ducts. Just after money and a quick job. Worst service I have ever encountered. A employee (Marcus) treated me so rude. And left cigarette butts in my driveway. Was on his phone longer then he was cleaning. Never again.

Saw their ads everywhere and they seemed to have good feedback so I called to schedule. Ive always been told to ask if a carpet cleaning company has a truck mounted system before hiring them but I forgot to ask. (They do have pictures on their website showing this type of system). But sure enough they showed up and only had portable cleaners not much better than what you can rent from the store. When it was done I could still see traffic patterns and they said those stains were permanent. I wasnt happy so I went out and rented a grocery store floor cleaner and spent several hours that night working the carpet. It came out better and I called to complain the next day that I was able to get more out of what they termed a permanent stain. I asked for a refund but the owner said they dont give refunds. The best they would do is come out and go over the area again. Not happy.

The people were very nice, but the service was very rushed and areas of the carpet did not look any cleaner just wet. The young man turned off the light, shut the door, and was ready to get paid and leave. I inspected before paying and asked what about the areas that still looked dirty and he replied with probably traffic stains. I would not recommend GTCC for any carpet cleaning jobs at this time.
