I have been having John service my three Volkswagen GTIs for many years now, and I cant say enough good about the service I have received from him. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, reliable, and fair in his pricing. And as anyone who has ever owned an older VW knows, they arent always the easiest cars to fix, but John keeps all of mine running superbly, and at way, way, less cost than what the dealership charges. I am one extremely, longtime, happy customer!!!

The guy told me on the phone $80 for a pair of USED worn snow tires on the phone. Showed up to the shop and he told me $115 because of tax. Im like tax isnt that much how much is the tires he told me $55 a tire and wouldnt go lower, he said have you seen the snow tire prices. Stewards in Barkhamsted I went too had better snow tires for $80 a pair and they negotiated $10 off because the shoulder was a little worn on one side. The guy at Ikes is a lying cheat. I drove 20 something minutes just to be lied too and when I calles him out on it he indirectly called me a liar. Never going there again. If you want an honest guy dont go to Ikes on rte 4 heading towards Goshen!!!

Weve been with Ikes Auto since 1990 and had all our cars serviced there. John has taken over for his dad and has never over charged and been extremely helpful. We wish him much success for his hard work.

I have used Ikes for years (and my father did so for many years before me) and have always been very happy with their work. They charge reasonably, they are thorough and most important, honorable.

Pray that your car doesnt end up here. Owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately we had an accident and had no choice in having the car towed here. Our bodyshop attempted to pick up vehicle to begin repairs and Ikes would not release it. Ikes held our vehicle hostage in an attempt to collect as much storage fees as they could. Needed to contact DMV and have police aid in getting them to release vehicle. What a nightmare. Do NOT recommend if there is a choice in the matter. Not to mention the place looks like an old junkyard, hard to imagine they actually work on cars here.

Mechanic was knowledgeable and very helpful with options.
