Ive always had great service from Torrington Post office. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Very friendly postal clerks in a nice location. Many post boxes. Packaging supplies and gift cards are retailed here. The major draw-back is that there is NO automation whatsoever; no computerized scales, no vending machines... nothing. This means that the clerks have to scramble around for these things whilst the line of customers lengthens. The parking lot in front is sizable and features a drive-through post box.

Reliable 99.99 % of the time . Have had issues in the past but over all they are fantastic . A word of advice though for people ordering online make 100% sure that your address is 100% correct if you live in an apartment building because if you have an apartment number with a letter like say 24 c for example and all it says is the street address with c like say 46 Salem Street Columbus Ohio apartment c they will process it and send it back because your complex will have multiple apartments ending in the letter c . Speaking from past experience . :D

They aren’t doing there jobs. 2 days in a role I didn’t receive my mail, and I have the usps informal app to confirm my mails isn’t being delivered on purpose. Find a new management and replace these terrible workers who stay on there phones the whole time delivering our mail!!!

They always putting somebody else mail in my mailbox and my mail in someone else mail box 😠

The new man working in the post office is extremely rude, and wasn’t wearing a mask upon my entry. They need employees like Jude back! Really dirty lobby as well

Less than satisfactory. I swear these people play football with packages, drop kick them up the lawn and then throw them on the ground a few more times? Im sorry, but this is not normal, this type of damage does not happen from picking something up and placing it somewhere else. This is the second time this month the USPS has damaged packages paid for and sent to two different areas of the country. I dont know whats going on here, but im getting pretty fed up. Not to mention how unhelpful and cold these people are when youre trying to understand the best way to utilize the system!

Contacted them twice to ask for help tracking a package that was mailed there but never received. Both guys I spoke with (Daniel and Tony) were extremely pleasant and helpful. Doubt Id have received such courteous service here in Queens, NY.

I frequently visit this post office. Most customers are good, but more so than other places, I have seen here the entitled, unreasonable customers that anyone in customer service dreads. Yet the staff remain consistently pleasant despite the challenges they face. Thanks for the great work, folks!

The ALL mail carriers are constantly handing our mail to the guy up stairs/my husbands father our mail, HES NEVER BEEN GIVEN PERMISSION to accept our mail. If hes standing outside they ALL hand it to him. Ive reported this to the post master 3x and she still hasnt stopped her carriers from doing it.Today 9/15/2017 a man at the end of my street just delivered a package of MINE that the mail carrier delivered to his house. I dont even know the man but thankfully hes an honest man.Tried calling the post office and couldnt get any where other than the damn computer. Torrington,Ct postal service sucks. Watch your mail they are also ALWAYS dropping mail. Weve had once the mail carrier dropped on our porch a neighbors payment to some place.

Worst post office. They never deliver my packages to where I specify, instead my neighbors get my packages. I recieve mail and packages that are not even my address. Im constantly having to do their job and deliver things to the right address. I ask and PAY for packages to be picked up that never do.Their incompetence is overwhelming and they have no desire to do anything about it. Use a different carrier if you can.

With the Exception of a few key employees at this office... They are totally incompetent. Malik and a couple of the people here actually care. Most of these people couldnt care less and constantly lose packages, deliver to wrong addresses, scan the package and then go deliver them to save time instead of scanning when they get your house! That last one was directly from a inside source. I try everything in my power to pay more for someone to use a better delivery service. They have lost a lot of money on deliveries to me that I never received and because they show them as scanned and delivered I have no recourse with the company that sent them. Just by talking to other individuals around town, my incidents are not at all uncommon. I actually went out and paid for a personal mail box at another carriers location so that I could have important packages and mail sent through someone with a physical address and the ability to witness this for me and to make sure my mail wasnt just left in the rain or stuffed in a mailbox along with snow to ruin it! Thats if I was lucky enough to get it in the first place.

Everytime I try to get a item from anywhere and use usps, they always cannot get me the item on time. For example, today they said that the address was missleading or uneligible... like what? The site used google maps to show right where i was at the time! And then i used usps with next day shipping and i get it 2 weeks later? Never again.

I can name at least 2 times in the past year where I received someone elses package. Addresses are completely different and not even remotely similar. Luckily Im honest and bring the packages back to the post office for them to redeliver.I can also name at least 2 times this year where they lost packages I had shipped out and I had to submit a ticket to track them down. I sell stuff on ebay, so when they lose these packages I LOSE MONEY. Sure you can buy insurance, but I shouldnt have to buy insurance for them losing my stuff. That should be their responsibility and they should have to reimburse me when theyre irresponsible.I can also name at least 3 times where they lost packages coming to me. 2 were eventually found, but one was never found. Luckily the companies I bought from refunded me, but still.All of the packages I mentioned have tracking numbers. whats the point of paying for tracking when youre going to lose stuff anyways? Tracking should be free! And they just raised the cost on shipping!

Incompetence at its finest. The new batch of postmen are useless. Things that are out for delivery are forgotten on the truck or wherever! This is the fourth time this has happened!!! My customers expect things when the tracking says it will be here. And because of a stupid postal worker, I end being lte which cost me money-like shipping is not enough to pay! Some of you are better off maybe at a McDonalds working!

Being able to talk to a person when I call would be nice

Had no interest in helping. Went to pick up a package they accepted from FedEx that was already days late and they said they couldnt find it & to wait for delivery... after looking for less than a minute. Lazy & showed no effort or care to help

Malik went out of his way on more that one occasion to make sure that I received my package.

Every time I come to this post office the same woman (wish I knew her name) is extremely rude and dismissive.
