I had the pleasure of getting into contact with Marcia Allen at First Call Staffing and couldn’t have enough positive things to say about her and the company as a whole. Safety is most peoples number one priority these days and First Call Staffing takes safety precautions extremely serious. I have been to a few temp agencies, and this was my best experience. With other places, I felt like I was pressured to do what they wanted, but Marsha was amazing. She took the time to figure out who I am and what I wanted. I felt bad because I was so tired when I went in (I went in after a day of substitute teaching) but she worked with me. I have been to other places where they just assumed I wanted a temp-hire situation, which is very uncomfortable since I just want a summer job. She asked what I wanted and when I told her I just want a job for the summer, I didnt feel like she was judging me for it, like some places have. She even made feel like it wasnt such a weird request and told me that she get a lot of teachers that look for summer work through their agency, and I can see why. They are great!

I did not have a good experience here. Although the staff is cordial, their assessment process and application process is from the stone age. I called in on a Tuesday and was asked to come in that Friday, however, I was not informed that there would be an assessment and I was completely unprepared for the tests. Some of their tests are extremely old, such as the spelling and math tests and there is no way of checking your answers since they do not use multiple choice. I gave this organization all of my personal information and they never found a match for me, even with a degree. I do not recommend them if you are looking for something professional and serious. Not a happy customer.
