At other repair shops I usually feel that I am paying too much for their service or worse yet, getting service I really did not need. Not the case at Lions Automotive. I received a recommendation to come to Lions Automotive through a friend of mine and now I would hands down recommend them to anyone looking for an auto repair shop. I brought my 2015 Ford Explorer here to get new brakes and through the process I ended up changing the front rotors, cabin filter and getting an oil change. The program which they use to keep you informed of the process is very professional. From the moment I dropped the car off to the moment I picked it up I was constantly kept in the loop by text messages, e-mails and reports which showed me their findings and recommendations. Pictures were included with the reports which help determine what needed to be fixed. I truly appreciate the professionalism and courtesy Victor and his staff gave me and my family.

Lions Automotive completed the work in the timeframe, and at the price, they quoted me. Victor is very pleasant to deal with. I never felt like they were trying to sell me services that I didnt need. I also really like their use of technology. Theyll text you with a link containing a very detailed evaluation of your car, and you get email updates as your car moves from evaluation, on through completion of the work. I would definitely take my car back to Lions.

Took car in for Transmission oil change. They completed the work on time and at the price quoted. They also saw a leak, sent pictures, and asked if I wanted the leak fixed and quoted price. They did not just proceed with work until approved. Very nice for people with tight budgets.Did great work, Love the service and car is running great! Repair leadtimes were a bit longer than I expected, but the quality is worth the wait. I have been holding off getting my car serviced because of the Covid-19 pandemic, so I was very glad when I could finally take my car in for service. As always, they took great care of me and were able to get my car back to me as scheduled. So, if you are looking for a place to take your car, please give Lion’s a call. They aren’t the cheapest guys in town, just the best and they stand behind the work they do. END OF NEW POST These guys are the best! They stand behind their work without give the customer a lot of grief if there are any problems with anything they have done. Their shop is always clean and well maintained (including their designer bathroom and when was the last time you went to a mechanic shop with a clean, designer quality bathroom).The best thing I can say about them is that I have been a customer of theirs for like 12 or 15 years (I initially went to them based on an AAA recommendation) with several different brands of cars, and they have never disappointed me. This alone should speak volumes about the quality of the work and customer service I have received from them over the years. Victor, Bob, Sal and the guys in the shop always take good care of me. I never hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and nobody that I have referred to Lions have ever been disappointed and all have become converts and long time customers as well.So my recommendation is go to Lions and you wont be disappointed! I have had two visits to Lions Automotive recently to get the oil changed on my cars. I was able to get in when I wanted to and as soon as I arrived I was helped politely and promptly by Sal. The owner, Victor happened to be in and so we chatted for awhile. He is extremely professional and kind. Hes been in the auto business for a long time now and enjoys providing outstanding customer service.The waiting room is very neat and clean with a nice variety of magazines and a Keruig. I used their wifi password to get some work done while I was there. The restroom is amazing - very neat in clean! Nothing like Ive ever seen at an auto repair shop.Each oil change took about 30-45 minutes. Upon check out, I was given an prioritized list of other services that were need for my almost 13 year old mini-van. Sal even took a few minutes and looked up some of the prices on the needed services.Lions automotive is a very respectable business and I will continue to bring my cars there for service.

I went in for a transmission issue. They told me I would have to replace my entire transmission at a cost of more than $3,500. I wanted a second opinion so I took it to the dealer who said it just need a new controller module. They replaced it and the car works great since then. Ill went by Lions and talked to one of the office staff and told them my story and they seemed to not care and Im sure they didnt pass it on to the owner. I would highly recommend not taking your car to Lions. You cant trust their diagnosis and repair strategies.

Lion’s Automotive was recommended to me by AAA. They make a stressful situation a relief. Towed my car there Thursday evening, filled out form that’s affixed to envelope sealed keys in envelope and dropped it in the “Early Bird”, drop box. They open at 8 and I received a call at 8:10 from Jack requesting more detail about the problem I was experiencing with my car. They set you up on a text service that lets you know the stages your car is in during the repair, they called me soon thereafter and told me what the problem was and how much it was gonna cost & let me just say, I was dreading and anxiously waiting for the “extreme price”. Thankfully the price wasn’t bad at all, VERY REASONABLE (considering everyone I knew guess-timated in the $1000’s), thank you for proving everyone wrong. Price quoted to me was exactly what I paid - no more and no less!!! Picked up my car on Tuesday evening - I’m a happy gal. Thank you Lions Automotive team!!! I found my mechanic shop for all my car’s future needs. Highly recommended!! If you go anywhere else expect to pay more - go here for friendly, fast, reasonable, above and beyond service!!!

My truck clutch gave out on a busy street in Torrance about 35 miles from home. Did not know what to do, called Auto Club, they sent a tow truck and recommended Lions repair shop. My thought was here I go, will be rip off again! Well, I Meet Victor at Lions & immediately felt better. Victor was great, He took me to the car rental, this was late in the day and they could not get to my vehicle till the next day. Well Victor called the next day said the clutch on my Toyota had a loose connection and was ready to go at a cost of $60.00. The car rental was $24.00 and Victor even took me to the Toyota Museum which I loved. Bottom line, I was glad my truck broke down because I got to meet the honest people at Lions Auto Repair and got to visit the Toyota museum./

Ive got one thing to say...I hope its a lot of years before Victor (Lions owner) retires from auto repair. Hes fair and explains what needs to be done on my car and why. Ive also found that no one at Lions oversells. A few years ago my 1994 Jeep got a new engine from Victor it got a new lease on life, runs like a charm. I trust Victor with my cars needs.UPDATE: A couple of weeks ago, I took my Jeep in for a regular service and Victor saw an issue that was going to cost me at least $150 more. But he figured out a way to fix he problem without a new part! This is a major reason I go to Lions.

Took my car into Lions due to check engine light when my car stalled on the freeway. They said it was the cam sensor unit needing replacing and also convinced me to have water pump replaced. Less than 2 weeks later, check engine light went on again, took the car back and they said it was cam sensor unit again (first cam sensor from Honda rarely ever fails, one in a million.) They replaced it at no charge. Less than 2 weeks later engine light went on and car stalled on freeway. Took car into Lions again, now the rocker arm sensor is bad. I paid again to have replaced but later found out from another mechanic they are essentially same unit, and check engine probably kept coming up due to faulty wiring, not units.I feel like I got taken to the cleaners and got a new car to avoid any more issues.

Lions performed a complete Brake job, Rotors and Pads, the work was done on time and at the price quoted. I will be using them in the future for all servicing on my vehicle.

Lions did a tough job for me most places told me I had to take my Expedition to a dealer to get it fixed. They fixed it and saved me some bucks, I will take all my cars there in the future.
