Ive been coming here for a couple years now and Ive always been pleased with the outcome. Ive added one before photo and two after photos. Went in about 4:30 and this place was buzzing! I waited about 30 minutes and was tended to very professionally! I usually bring my own nail color since I know what I like. I will be returning this summer. Located in West Ridge Mall off of Wanamaker.

Kelly is great. Jeffrey is very rude. There was confusion on my last appointment, on the date. I had Saturday down because I work. I got a call from Jeff on Friday, telling me I am missing my appointment. Pretty much yelling and rude. There must have been a mistake. I asked to reschedule, and he told me to call back at another time to do so. I will never ever go back. This is not the first time he has been so rude. He has no customer service.

Please go somewhere else. Sat there soaking my nail polish off for 25-30 minutes while they helped others. Got yelled at for not continuing to soak them when they finally got to me which I tried to explain why I stopped but they didnt want to listen and spoke in their language to the other workers. The lady came back with more polish remover and told me she hoped this time I will keep my hands in the solution. I walked out and went to Happy Nails. Also I saw they were helping another lady that walked in way after me. Will never go back.

I went in for a fill and my mother wanted a manicure. There was only a man there when we walked in. He was working half way down the room and asked what we needed. I told him and when the lady verified he said that wasnt what I said and made a big deal about it. We should have left then but were in a time crunch. I have never had someone rush through their work so quickly and provide poor quality work. The pedicure that started before us was still in the works after we were both done.

I paid $80 for my nails alone. They rush and my jewels fell off the same day 😒. Waste of $80 and the pedicure was rushed as well. I highly don’t recommend

I love this Husband and Wife Team! They have definitely perfected their craft. They are able to see multiple people at one time, meaning that you dont have to wait very long. Their customer service is wonderful and my nails have never looked better 🙂

Was not worth the price. My nails are uneven and shaped horribly. The guy seemed to be in a rush. I even scheduled an appointment in advance to ensure enough time. Really disappointed. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Acrylic set needs work:I understand that I came to the salon on a busy weekend day, but the quality was a little under par. The concept of design I wanted was met, but the finished product was a little messy. There is unevenness of gel, polish on my skin, acrylic on my skin, and the nail shapes do not match one another.The staff was very friendly and the pedicurist was sure to be careful about the bruise on my leg when he did the massage. The environment was normal for a salon atmosphere.Overall: it is a chain type salon, and it shows.

Good service just not good at doing nails, they last rushed through my nails and they weren’t even dry yet. Didn’t get the results that I wanted and they nails came off that day as well.

Best nail salon in Topeka. I believe it’s just a couple who work here, so know that you will have to wait to get your nails done. However, it is ABSOLUTELY worth the wait as they do such a great job. They do not rush through your nails in attempts to get as many people as possible through the line. They take their time and do a quality job. When you leave California Nails, you will be extremely happy with the way they look. And if you for some reason aren’t happy, the staff is more than willing to fix the issue for you. I’ve been to every nail salon in Topeka and can confidently say that California Nails is the most consistent and of the best quality.

Great place to go and get a mani/pedi. Have always liked how they do. Highly recommend.

There were only 2 workers there. Was a little pricey in my opinion for a manicure.

I came with my family for the first time to get a pedi done since my feet were bad. We felt rushed when no one was in the business when we were there. They charge crazy amount. I won’t be going back.

Waited awhile as place was busy. I was okay with that but then they started moving me from chair to chair and rushed me through. The manicurist asked me how much I was going to tip her rather than me offering her one. and didnt thank me when I gave it to her. The polish was thick and even after 20 minutes under the light and fan, it was still not set. Wasnt set after 1 1/2 hours and I had to take off the polish as it was ruined. It was apparent I wasnt a regular.

The husband did my pedicure and put no real effort into it! I will never go back there again! I dont have money to waste!

Worthless. I left with a good length of nails to leave out with stubs. I do not recommend this type of facility on my worst damn enemy. I should have saw the reviews before I walked in and seeing how I needed a last-minute pedicure and fill I learned my lesson. Please whoever actually read these do not go in there for I have better service their prices is not good for a quick pedicure. They literally dipped my feet in water put lotion on my legs just on my legs could still look ashy. They were very rude!

Hate the service, no variety, rude employees, they dont clean the tools between customers and the place is filthy. They let my lands turn into prunes soaking in acetone for over an hour, taking care of other clients who were AFTER me. I will never return nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone..ever.

Annoying!!! I sat there for a good hour before they decided to tell me oh by the way theres 8 other people in front of you, you might wanna come back. Only TWO people working there, you want my business you might oughta hire some more employee s!!!

The place wasnt busy at all. That probably should have been the first sign that this wasnt going to go well. The lady helping me was nice enough but she was pretty aggressive trimming my cuticles. She cut one finger pretty badly and I bled quite a bit. She used a piece of cotton to stop the bleeding but then used a nail buffer on my nail right where the blood had been. I highly doubt that she threw the buffer out after it was used on my bloody finger because she stuck it right back in the drawer. Ew. The actual manicure and painting of my nails were ok. The fact that I got cut in the first place and then the mishandling of it really turned me off. Im really hoping I dont get an infection.

It was awful. The tech dug in my toes and laughed it off. The massage was barely 2 minutes of light rubbing except on my shins where it actually kinda hurt. The painting job was shabby at best. Very rushed, very impersonal, would not recommend.

Got my nails done here lasted about 2 days then one broke. Came back one day to get it fixed I was told they didn’t have anyone to fix it. Came back another day and the same thing was said.

Im pregnant and my feet hurt so bad i came here for a pedicure and the massage part for both feet and calfs lasted a total of 4 minutes combined no pressure and not worth the pay. They feel no different than when i walked in.

I pray for people who have business and give horrible customer service so I called this nail spot ask to make a appointment they tell me they only take walk in so I sign my name he tells me 45 min so I leave ask for him to call when he ready I get back he is working on two others I ask how much longer he says another hour I could have went some where else nails done my whole point was if you didnt want to do my nails for what ever reason just let me know no problems

They do not adhere to the health and safety precautions they should, as stated by law. I went in for a shellac mani pedi, did my fingernails first.. The man used his own sharp long fingernails to clean my own fingernails, no gloves, nothing. Also he refused to use two colors (I was just wanting an accent nail, just one nail on each hand painted a different color than the rest, I didnt think it was very complicated but he said only one color.) I thought that was odd. I opted out of the pedi for obvious reasons. Still came out to $40!!!! When it was advertised for 26. Please go somewhere else, this place is not good for a ten dollar manicure let alone trying to get 40 dollars out of another customer.

Made an appointment. Got a chair for a pedicure. They went so fast it was not relaxing at all. I felt like it was a burn n turn. Get em in, move on to the next.

I waited for 45 minutes as one employee watched tv, and one played in the back room. Once I walked out, they came running afterMe about how they were ready now. Yeah. No.

I went in at 6:30 they close at 7:30 asking for a fill, told itll be 30 minutes since its just two of them working and two customers. I said okay, Ill come back I show back up at 7:10 and he is locking the door all the lights are off leaving the salon. Very unhappy. I was lied to
