This is a nice laid back place, you get a quality cut that you don’t get at these big chains that charge double the price. It’s always great to be able to support a local business owner. Mr. Carter will give you a good cut with some good conversation. Definitely recommend and will be back!

To say this man gave me a FRESH cut would be an understatement! I’ve been to probably every barbershop and hairstylist place in Topeka and none have been able to cut my curly hair, but dang Mr Carter got my hair RIGHT! He’s got lots of business though so just make sure you make an appointment far ahead of schedule. Worth every penny and then some!

The barbershop and the barber Both Deserve High Praise, I am legally blind and when I go to the barbershop I trust the barber will do what he thinks is best to make me look at least a little better since I have no judgment of what the haircut looks like afterwards but I can assure you I get nothing but compliments after going there, the appointments that I have made have always been kept on time the place is always clean and the prices are very reasonable I even enjoy going. I will continue to go because the service is excellent. I recommend the barber shop and the barber to anyone that wants a professional haircut which includes senior discount.

Good conversation and great atmosphere.Prices are not high for the quality of service you receive.My barber, Tracy, is a real barber and not a stylist. She is excellent at haircuts and knows how to work with beards. She doesnt push products on you and will give you recommendations on where you can get them.Ive never had issues getting an appointment They are responsive and very understanding about getting you in early if the chair is open.The other barbers in the shop are friendly, know their stuff. If you have a beard this is the place you need to go.

Tracy is absolutely phenomenal. This shop is family friendly, clean, and makes you feel right at home. Tracy takes care of my little family we don’t go anywhere else. She does a great job on my sons hair and that’s no easy job. Girls don’t think there’s no room for you in a barber shop. Tracy not only cuts my hair but straight razors my eyebrows. Great quality care without breaking the bank.

Carter gave us a wonderful experience! We just moved to Kansas a few weeks ago and he was so welcoming. Great customer service, great prices and a very nice family environment. Not to mention his cuts are detailed and sharp. I just googled a barbershop near me for my two sons and he had the best reviews and there’s no wonder why.

As with an earlier review, I had been going here since way back in the day when Greg and Ken owned it. When Greg retired the guy who took over did a great job, but eventually moved out of town. The place went through a couple of other Barbers that were fine, however Mr. Carter is the true successor to Gregs legacy. Offering top notch cuts, fades and shaves and a great barber shop atmosphere. He also keeps Greg and Kens picture in the shop which is a really nice touch (Sadly, they are no longer with us). I am so glad I was able to go back to Acapulco/Precision.

Mr. Carter is a Professional Good Guy. Every cut he works diligently, not just to make you look sharp as hell (which you will) but also as a signature and testament to his mastery of the craft. Hes gonna give you what you want and hes gonna make sure its good enough that people are going to ask who did it. Pride and Excellence in his work. You instantly feel welcomed and everything is on the level. You know when you walk in that theyre going to take care of you.

Mr Carter is an awesome barber who can cut an excellent military fade. I highly recommend him for a great haircut. He sucks as far as trying to get a haircut. He is appointment only and never answers the phone or text and is impossible to make an appointment with. He has enough business so I say skip it and go elsewhere.

Being from Alaska only visiting I was in need of a shaved and a line up, and also wanted to get my father a nice clean cut and shave. After doing a lot of searching I came across Acapulco Barbershop (now “Precision”), and the owner Mr. Carter. I will say I have now found a local barber!! The name change (Precision) speaks for the quality of attention he gives to each cut. I’ve had and seen less quality service for a much higher price. This man is absolutely amazing. Free hands the whole cut. Really great and funny guy too. Will be going to him for a long time. Has on offer for $40 for 5 cuts anytime over 60 days.

I am a junior in high school and went in on 9/8/17 to get Shadow fade and Trim I have Mexican hair.Mr.Carter gave me a haircut.I do not typically review places but I can say for my first time there this haircut was an absolute 5 stars. I had been getting my hair cut at Acapulco for over 10 years when my barber left I floated around for a couple years.I am in sales so my appearance is of the most importance. I paid up to $50 and never got the cut I was looking for. As a shot in the dark I went back to Acapulco and met brother Carter. On my first cut Mr.Carter nailed it! I have had several more cuts with him since then and I can say from my experiences in Topeka that hands down Mr.Carter is the Man! To Make a short story Long I pray that brother Carter will there to cut my hair until there is no more to cut.

My son (4) had took it upon himself to cut his own hair. I was deaperate to get him in that day. Mr. Carter told me if I could get there within the hour he would get it fixed. We made it, he did an amazing job, and made my son feel so comfortable in his chair. He talked and laughed with him through out his haircut. He was quick and clean. It turned out great. I did not know his shop was cash only but he trusted me to go to the ATM on good faith. When he isnt cutting hair you may catch him with his nose in the BIBLE. Great family shop!

I was looking for a new barber for my 4yo son and just happened upon this wonderful barber *shop* I must say at 1st I was a lil skeptical as id never heard of it before, but from the moment we walked in I knew this would be our new barbershop. It has a very classy updated decor, and welcome, relaxing atmosphere. The barber was very pleasant, and charged way less than I expected *which was a welcome change from what ive been paying* not to mention my son left with one of the best cuts hes ever had. We are actually heading back today for another fresh cut and we want to say THANK YOU for being everything we want and need in a barber.
