I had my front hubs and a ABS senor fixed. They got my car in quickly and was able to get my car back just before work. Totally recommend bring your vehicle in to them. It was a good affordable price as well!

I had call previously to taking my vehicle to them and was told the would diagnosis what was wrong with my ac and could repair it. Both when calling and dropping off the vehicle i was told the diagnosis was free and then if i had it fixed there it would be a fee. I was charged 129 for a diagnosis which was supposed to be free. Will not return to use this business ever again.

Was in car accident in Topeka 7/8/21 thanks to Darrells shell they were at accident in minutes to get my vehicle they then took care of all the things from their transferring it to walts for insurance company I had no worries very professional service next call I got was to remove my stuff from my vehicle due to car being totalled but that had been taken care of by Becki she handled cleaning out my car and and giving me all my belongings Thanks Becki best service in Topeka Kansas in a wreck call beck lol no call darrells shell great service thank you

I was traveling through Topeka and having my feet roasted. They were so busy. They stopped and gave me 5 minutes. All the shop around told me three or four days. Two days later problem fix and such a good price. Thanks

This place is the worst place in topeka they take advantage of everyone that walks through the door I am a professional shop and had to send a little old lady over for something simple and they charged her 5 times what it cost to get done and then when I confronted them about it Kevin the owner told me to foff and he can do what he wants I will never recommend this shop please find another one somewhere else

They fixed my vehicle the first time and way over charged me because I didn’t know anything about vehicles or what could be wrong. Not only did the owner take advantage of me he always charged me for storage everyday it was there. Even the days he was fixing it and the days he kept it there while parts were coming in the mail. And even the days he was working on other vehicles and disnt have time to get to mine. And then the sexond time I took it there my brother died while it was there, he called me over 10 times pestering me to get it. I barely could get out of bed. And then he was very rude and decided to charge me 60$ everyday it was there and the bill is over 2100 in storage fees and this is after a month before I spent 1500$ in new tires, etc. and when it went in the second time the motor was blown. So I wasted the 1500$ and my brother died and he still was just rude. But get this a lady working there calls me and says it would just be 100$ to get it towed to my storage unit and they will waive storage fees because of my whole situation and everything going on. And then call back 45 min later to tell me the owner said he can’t be nice like that and has to charge me the 2100$ for storage of a vehicle with blown motor. After I spent 1500$ with them for tires, etc. he is only in business for what’s best for him not his customers poor customer service

4 years ago I took my first vehicle there. I was aware that it was in poor condition, it only cost me 600. I took it to them to replace ball joints and give an alignment. They put it up on the lift and literally minutes later they came out and told me they couldnt do what I wanted because it was in such poor condition. They charged me about 70 just to look under my car and tell me that. I was very confused and tried protesting the cost and they proceeded to tell me that technically the car is in such poor condition we shouldnt even allow you to drive it home. I was incredibly hurt by this experience, as I was 18--almost 19--and a poor college student. I have not returned to this establishment since as I felt taken advantage of.

My car was there for 6 days. After diagnostic it was smart junction box. Cost me 1100. 8 days later car broke down again and it was the battery. 252 later. I dont understand being charged 200 plus for diagnostic and a bad battery couldnt be found at that time but then charged an additional 252

Changed my oil a few months ago and forgot to reset the oil warning light; flash forward a few months later and the oil warning light flashes on my car while Im on the interstate and I have to get towed into Emporia. The technician there informs me that the last people to do my oil change failed to reset this light, causing me to waste an afternoon just to get a warning light reset. Darrels Auto Service also said their oil change only lasts 3,000 miles, when the official Ford Maintenance schedule says they should last 7,500 miles.When I reached out to inform Darrels Auto Service, they confirmed my problem with the service center in Emporia and essentially told me they were glad I wasnt having any more issues and could come back when I do--will obviously never be doing so and discourage anyone else from doing the same. Dont take care of their customers.

My girlfriend called to see about an estimate for replacing a squeaky belt. The shop would be closed by the time she could drop it off for an estimate. No problem. They have an after hours drop box. Turns out that if you leave your car for an estimate, Darrells policy is that youll be billed for the estimate. $50.00 for a half hour. Apparently it takes the mechanics at Darrells 30 minutes to figure out that a new belt and belt tensioner are necessary, even when we wrote exactly what the problem was on the drop off sheet. When I dared to argue that nobody told us that getting an estimate to replace a belt we already knew needed replacing was going to cost us anything, much less $50.00, the owner of the shop threatened to call the police on me and have me charged with theft of services. Gosh, what do you call it when his $50.00 estimate includes parts marked up 400%? I call it disgusting. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere, having paid $50.00 to find out that Darrells son is into price gouging. What kind of scoundrel charges for estimates? Darrells son. Thats who. It turns out, after putting on a new belt, and NOT A TENSIONER PULLY, the problem was fixed. Gosh the 50$ repair estimate was worthless after all.
