This PF isnt my home gym, so I dont use this PF on a regular. However Dan is an exceptional employee. He has a great professional demeanor. Always helping clients to make sure their gym experience is superb!!!! He makes the PF of Toms River a pleasurable atmosphere!!!!

I had been going to this gym for a couple of years already. Yesterday 4/26/21, I went back to the gym for the first time since the pandemic started last year, so it had been a little over a year.The gentleman at the front scanned my card and I was going to keep on walking to the bathroom. When I looked up from scanning my card I see the gentleman with the infrared thermometer so I didnt know what he was doing, nor had any idea that was the new protocol, so I said: Are you serious? and I laughed, not mad or anything, but as in a way of joking because I was just taken by surprise. Then I said; Wow. And I laughed again.Well, obviously the gentleman was either not having a good day. He immediately said; If you dont like it, you can leave!What? I asked him; Why, because I said Are you serious? Wow!He immediately said; Because you are complaining.I immediately told him that I never once complained about anything, and that I had not been at the gym in over a year so I did not know the gym was doing temperature checks. I had even called before arriving, and they never mentioned it.What a nice way to welcomed people back to the gym. Horrible experience! Not a way to speak to the customers at all. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Came as a guest with my daughter. She didn’t know how to a guest setup. So the lady from the front desk Friday morning has some attitude asking if she knows how to do it. My daughter, 18, smiles, and she said no; the front desk makes a face like she was bothering to help us.How can you be annoyed that early, and that’s Your job description?The facility is clean.

Wonderful gym since I’ve started going in September. All staff is friendly, and on top of keeping work out areas sanitary. I enjoy going after I get out of work and early on Saturday and Sunday.

I never went to the gym at all and wanted to cancel due to Covid. I asked for a refund for just the annual fee of $41 and cancel the whole thing. I have only been a member for a couple months and like i said, have never been there due to the uptick in Covid. They said no and refused to refund me an annual fee i was just charged today. Very annoyed and think its totally ridiculous. I didnt ask for a refund for the two months I paid for and they wouldnt refund a frivolous charge that was buried in the contract. Disgusted.

Theresa and her team of professionals keep this gym very clean and adhere to strict CV-19 mitigation requirements . One of the cleanest facilities I have worked out in — great staff !!!

Do not share your credit card information... Planet Fitness will randomly charge different fees throughout the year. Better off paying cashI had a young girl trying to help me, when she couldn’t, she asked her manager (gym manager Ryan) to help her, he was nasty to her as well as to me.When I explained to him that the signature on the contract wasn’t mine, he refused to look at it or to come up with a solution. The issue was literally over $40.00, not really about the money but more on principal.Planet fitness - your manager lacks integrity, professionalism and basic customer service skills. I can’t believe your actually allowing this guy to manager other employees or to represent your company to customers.Toms River Planet Fitness I would not recommend

Nice, comfortable gym, has everything you could want and never overcrowded. Except during the summer at noon and January 1-10 every year. Avoid those 2 times and you’ll love it.

Very clean Gym, friendly staff.

This location is a bit tiny, so less verity of equipment here. Evenings when is busy is hard to use the desired machine because chances are that it will be taking. Parking is good. Staff is friendly. Easy to get to and convenient location. I would recommend this location if you can work out off peak hours.

This is a good location! There are plenty of cardio machines & a good selection of free weights and universal machines. The square footage for this location is also huge in comparison to other higher costing popular gyms (ex Retro). The gym is always clean and typically no wait to get on your machine of choice.

I love this place! For the price you cant beat it! the people who go are great and the staff is friendly and helpful. I have been to the full service gyms and YES they are worlds better but you get what you pay for and I have no complaints :)

I love the staff and the members. The member are diligent in their workoutsI like the fact that there are all ages, shapes and sizes and the staff and trainers will always answer questions and are courteous and polite

Very comfortable atmosphere.... if you want more exercise equipment join a bigger gym and Ill stay here where its less crowded

Good gym especially for beginners! The staff are excellent and the gym is always clean. I didnt give it 5 stars thought bc when I signed up, I was told theyre open 24/7 and I had to cut my workout short one night in the weekend bc they closed at 7... I was told something different but besides them not being 24/7 like I was told, excellent gym!

This is a gym just to go and do things at your own pace. This gym is for mike the sanitation not mike the situation. Dont go thinking it is a full service gym. They give you the means and that is it. Plus with the $20/mo plan you can go to any location nationwide.

These people literally lost my account. Trying to close an account and had employees telling me its closed only to find out theyve been charging me the entire time. Now a manager told me the account was moved but cant find out which location its moved to. So I called their HQ and literally nothing. Then I tried calling Ryan the head manager for a week and nothing.Now I have to close my account to get these scum bags to stop charging me and a claim investigation with my credit card company to get my money back.Screw these people and their incompetence.PS Ryan if you read this CALL ME BACK AND FIND MY ACCOUNT! Ive left my number MULTIPLE times with your people.

Never crowded... very clean quiet atmosphere

Been going here since it opened. Friendly staff. They are 24/7. And have lots of benefit for their black card members. Cheap monthly pricing to boot

Great atmosphere....I usually go at night after dinner,,always able to get on machines..Cardio and weight machines.

Was a member for years recently gave up membership due to health reasons was a very neat place to go to clean and very non muscle head atmosphere

This gym is a joke. They dont even have a scale. When I went to the front desk, they said the gym is a judgement free zone and that it doesnt matter what you weigh. This place is more of a place to hang out rather than work out. Make sure you dont make the lunk alarm go off!

I joined Planet Fitness in early September planning to use it on weekends and throughout the year on vacations. When Sandy hit, I asked to cancel my membership since I could not access my house and wouldnt be able to live at my house all winter. They charged me a fee and were so rude and inconsiderate. I was very disappointed that they took advantage of me and others at this time.
