We had an engagement party for my daughter and her fiancé here last weekend. The service and food were superb! The food was delicious, came out on time and hot and the staff were so professional and accommodating. Cathy, who runs the venue was easy to communicate with and super helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a party space or just a great meal!

Good atmosphere, but thats it. $18 dollars burger absolutely tasteless, spaghetti with meatballs, well, I would say $5 max. Drinks are just drinks, they put too much ice. Will not come again.

We had dinner reservations for 6:30pm. Appetizer came out within an hour. Food came out after 2 hours. The food was horrible. The salmon was over cooked and the fish medley was bad. I mean the fish was rotten. We send it back only to get six extra small clam oreganotto that was also bad. Our waiter was awesome but this is the second time eating at this restaurant and the food was not good. I do not recommend this place.

Quality Excellent! Food Excellent! Service Excellent! Kitchen Time POOR!!!I dined at Aqua Blu for the first time yesterday (a Wednesday 5pm) wanting a good seafood dinner. I ordered the Seared Scallops and a Shrimp Cocktail. I thought the shrimp cocktail was really expensive because the menu said 3 shrimp for $18. However, these three shrimp were huge and tasty, easily comparable in price to other restaurants. The scallops were perfectly seared and cooked. While the seafood components were delicious, the corn and pepper salad was simply amazing! The service was good by Colby. He served the bread and shrimp cocktail quickly and checked on me often. A couple of times he told me my entree would be out soon. The first I was patient feeling ok with it. By the second time, I was beyond very disappointed with the very, long wait. They didnt seem that busy (5pm) Luckily, the bread and shrimp held me over. Overall I was very satisfied with my meal.

Aqua Blu is very beautifully decorated. The menu is great and the food was delicious. The service does not match that. Hostesses are rude. When we came in the still were fixing the pages in the menu. They also were dressed very unprofessionally. We got seated outside which we picked when we made the reservations. But it was right next to the garbage in the back… I understand covid has made places make outdoor seating but maybe move the garbage. For the price of the meal we wanted a better atmosphere. So I asked the hostess, who found us another spot, to sit inside. But this was next to more garbage bags in the corner. They were not moved until another family was sat by them and complained. It ended up being balloons in big black garbage bags… but still this is a classy place. Put them somewhere else!!! The waiter did not tell us his name or the specials… we had to ask for bread. We had to ask to even see our waiter. Try it out but don’t expect good service. The food was, again, very delicious.

Id say its not too bad. But I had higher expectations. We were in an outdoor seating. Tables were placed enough apart. The food was tasty. One of the pasta was a tad bitter cause of the pesto.

Each time I was there about 4x, had to wait awhile for the bartender to notice me and was ready to walk out, then he came over. The food was great and the place has a modern ambiance. The flip side was the smug and clickish attitude of the patrons. Not a place to feel relaxed or comfortable in. You get the look over from people who think there better than you.Just my opinion. Hopefully you will have a better experience.

Spectacular dinner on last night in Seaside. Ordered the crab cakes and it may have been the best crabcake I have ever had. Cooked perfectly and not all breading either. Try the corn on the cob side of you like Mexican food. Atmosphere is a bit upscale but there are kids options for eating there.

The wait staff was great but the food was not. For the price you pay you would think youre getting great food but sadly no, not good. Average at best, sorry.We wont be back..

Great atmosphere!! Great food!! The drinks are pretty strong if you are getting a mixed cocktail. (Some people love that) I did have to ask for the bar tenders to go a little lighter with their pours! LOL. Very dressy place for dinner which I happen to love esp when we are so close to the shore. Staff is super sweet

I would usually give this place at five star review but when youre seated I had a few other tables and we sat outside the other two tables being they were four tops got waited on before us? They received their bread and water LOL and we got nothing at 7 p.m. after the waitress described delicious specials they were sold out? I guess the pandemic has hurt the restaurant business. The table next to us one of their dinners was wrong. So three people ate dinner while the other guy waited for his order? I spoke to them afterwards they werent even offered a free drink. If the owner Enzo was there Im sure it would have been different. My first experience there a few weeks ago was excellent so Im going to say its hit or miss always like this place. Pandemic or no pandemic service should be service and the kitchen staff need to kick it up a notch. What used to be a five star restaurant I wound up eating a cheeseburger and it certainly was not what I wanted to eat

First time customer and very disappointed. Went for dinner expecting good food. One of our three appetizers came very late and cold. We order the NY strip steak and the steak had no flavor and the fries that came with was also cold. We also order their Brodetto di Pesce and the clams had sand in it, not acceptable. I did not mind the wait time since is advertised that the food is cooked from scratch, but it took a lot longer than expected.

This place used to be way better before Covid. Now they jacked up all of their prices. Got rid of all of their daily specials and on happy hour the food specials are $10-$12 and they used to be $2-$4

Went there for Fathers day and had brunch. Steak and eggs were fantastic. Salmon appetizer was delicious as well. Looking forward to going there again.

This is a review from my experience on May 30th which was posted on open table and supposedly reviewed by management which I also told them their waitstaff should be fired. Maybe they will tell me they canned Michael after reading this.Went for sunday brunch with old friends. They had a dj spinning tunes and singing karaoke. Very upbeat atmosphere. We spent about 2.5 hrs eating and drinking. The waiter came over about 7 times. At one point one of my group went to the bar to get a refill of coke after the waiter disappeared. After dinner we ordered cappuccino and 20 minutes later the waiter gave us our check. I looked and we had charged fir the cappuccino which we had not received. Shortly thereafter he was at the next table whispering to them as they all stared at us. Very professional! This is why you got 15% on a $200 bill. I recommend going to aqua blu but if you get Michael as your waiter better enjoy waiting cause hes terrible.

The atmosphere is really nice, clean and modern. You can see into the kitchen from the table which was cool. However the food really was nothing special at all. Dinner and a bottle of wine for 2 will run you probably $100. Wouldn’t come back personally.

Great atmosphere but a little pricey for not such an amazing dinner. Had the miso salmon and everything was just kind of mushy. Still tasted great.

Burger Thursday by the bar is a great time. Live music is great.

This is the worst, overpriced food I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating. Loud, obnoxious atmosphere topped off with slop on a plate. You could not pay me enough to go back to this place! If I had to say one thing good about this restaurant it would be the amount of cougars at the bar. There are way to many good restaurants in Toms River so don’t waste your time here, you’ll thank me!

Aqua Blu was too glitzy for me, but if you like DJs, sequins, and Las Vegas, Aqua Blu may be what you’re looking for. The crowd was very young, local, and looking. What they’re looking for is temporary, because they are too young to understand what they should be looking for. The servers and front desk staff are self centered, but not self aware, rollicking in banality. Aqua Blu wasn’t serving food late. We had a couple of cocktails, and left, destined for a Greek diner. The exact counter balance to Aqua Blu.

The wait was over an hour to get food and when it arrive at the table it was cold. The price is too high for the quality of the food and the quantity it was a very disappointing birthday meal.

Had a very nice indoor meal this weekend. All the meals at our table were excellent! Yes, a bit pricey but worth it. The scallops, chicken, salmon, all were enjoyed! Service was great as well.

Very nicely socially distanced setup outside which we opted for rather than going inside. Our waitress, Pat, was friendly and knowledgeable.The grilled caesar salad was quite tasty and easily served two. My wife and I both ordered the special entree, rigatoni with braised short rib and cherry tomatoes confit which was delightful and very filling.Would definitely go back.

Not the best experience we have had here. the food was not that great & the waitress did not listen to what we wanted so the food ended up coming back twice wrong. I was done my meal before my husbands correct meal came back.

Disgusting, absolutely way overpriced they give you nothing to eat for the outrageous prices. I had a chicken dish that was supposed to be prepared with sausage and other vegetables I got a chicken thigh that was quite possibly smaller than the palm of my hand, and instead of having chunks of sausage it came with ground up sausage, not how they described it on the menu do not waste your time or money. The only thing I can say is my wifes hamburger was good. 😝👎👎👎

Other than a small scheduling debacle when it came to making a reservation the whole experience was phenominal. We where greeted by the manager and hostess to our seats promptly. I suggest making a reservation on open table or google not over the phone. We where lead through the beautiful restaurant where we where greeted by our waitor Nick. Possibly one of the best and friendliest service ive ever had from a waitor. I ordered the 55 dollar dry aged porterhouse which i was a bit hesitant about ordering at first but oh boy was it worth it. It was already cut off the bone and garnished beautifully with a side of delicious mashed and brocolini. I want to say it was well worth the 55 dollars. I followed that with the creme buleď cheese cake which was just as good. All in all one of the best restaurants ive ate in. Be aware that the prices are a bit steep but well worth the price. I want to say that all the past reviewers comments have been properly addressed to this day.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Aqua Blu and I couldnt have been happier! They went above and beyond to make our day special and beautiful. Everything was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the food was great, and the decor was beautiful. They were great at accommodating my food allergy. The chef made a special dish for me that was so delicious my husband ended up eating some too. The manager Anthony was always there for any questions or concerns we had. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and our guests were happy. We highly recommend this venue for any of your event needs! We will definitely be returning for dinner many times!

Terrible service, me and my girlfriend went for Valentine’s Day and the food was not good at all, service was slow and they were not even remotely busy at the time and didn’t even offer to take the meals off the bill after both me and my girlfriend didn’t even have more than 1 bite. And not to mention $50 for a piece of veal pork chop, everything on their menu is way over priced

Branzino was served off the bone and was very good. Octopus was a disappointment it was grilled however served cold an a small portion for the price.

I was there with my family for my moms birthday. The service was good, but the food was not good. There were six of us and not one meal was good. I had the swordfish special with lemon and mint. It was a grilled piece of swordfish with raw mint leaves thrown on top. It was very bland. Y husband had the branzino. It was a whole fish he said tasted like it was frozen. My mom had the lasagna bolognase. It was horrible. I was not happy it was very expensive and the food was horrible. I dont mind paying for food if it is good. I give this zero stars. I will never eat here again.

Delicious dinner and dessert. Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor dining experience. Love that they have love music on Wednesday nights. Friendly staff and everything tasted freshly prepared. Really enjoyed the experiences Ive had here.

Had a fabulous dinner here last week. We dined inside at a table by the bar and service was on point. The crab cake came in a artistic presentation with arugula, potatoes, and crispy bacon bits. So good!

My daughter insisted on going for the bacon double cheese burger that looked amazing from I could see. Definitely hit this place up for their burgers.The crab cake mini sliders were very good.I ordered the mussels with red sauce that was way under cooked with less than a cup of red sauce with minimal garlic. I returned the mussels in exchanged for the spaghetti with white clams sauce. That was okay but not the greatest. The portion was small for the money that you will be paying for.My wife ordered the pasta vodka. The same thing.. Okay.. Small portion and the pasta was soft as over cooked.Born and raised up in North Jersey, living in T.R. for 19 years, this is the first time stepping into this place, and have been to many Italian restaurants. My opinion this is not the place for good Italian food, but if you want to go out for a few appetizers, or for a great burger along with a few drinks, i would recommend going. The atmosphere is really nice inside and service is good.

One of my favorite places by far. The happy hour that is offered and the daily specials are superb! Mondays and Wednesday are especially my favorites days to go out for dinner. The cocktail list is always done seasonally- many will tickle your fancy. The bread that they give to you eat before dinner along with the seasoning and oil is so delicious too. Service here is also above level, which always makes your time well spent. I just love this place!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Aqua Blu, and we could not have been happier! Throughout the planning process (and after), they went above and beyond to make sure that my wife and I had the reception that we wanted. Everything was perfect, the food was great, the staff was amazing, and the room was well decorated. My wife has a food allergy, and the chef made her a special dish, which was really good by the way. Also, due to unfortunate weather (we initially planned on having our wedding outside), we had to find an indoor location to have the wedding ceremony. In very short notice, they were able to set up a room for us to have the ceremony in. The room looked great.Anthony, the manager, was always there for any questions or concerns that we had. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and our guests were happy.We highly recommend this venue for any of your event needs! We will definitely be returning for dinner many times!

The gourmet burgers are outstanding. I order mine medium rare, and thats how they cook em! Pastas are great. Short ribs are delicious. I love the grilled pulpo (octopus) appetizer. Half price bottles of wine on Wednesday.

New One of the best arugula salads Ive ever had!! The deviled eggs were pretty good. Wasnt a huge fan of the charcuterie board, but it also wasnt bad. Fast service for happy hour on a Friday evening. All in all a pretty chill bar with decent food menu.

I started going to this restaurant about 6 years ago, when I took my girlfriend on our first date. The server, Anthony, was incredibly hospitable and knew the menu well. We were absolutely blown away by the food and service and have gone back for every special occasion ever since.We celebrated our first wedding anniversary there last year and Anthony, Now a manager there, made sure to make the night magical by sending us a bottle of champagne and a rose. More recently the manager revealed the gender of our baby to us that we are expecting in July, by pouring pink drinks for our family. These are just a few small gestures that I am remember over the years that make this place special to me.The menu there evolves with local selection, and always includes new things to try I’ve never heard of. I’ve never once had a meal there I didn’t love. The cocktails are top shelf. The staff all take their job seriously. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

We always stop in for a bite to eat. The bar is nice, and the food is good. I recommend a bar pie, and we also always enjoy the short ribs and pasta dishes.

My wife and I had one of the best times in a long time. Ashlie was our waitress and she was a pleasure. The new Executive Chef Adem came out to meet and greet and even brought out some special samplers for us. I recommend Aqua Blue to all. Enjoy!!

I go strictly for the happy hour and it’s so worth it, good apps and strong drinks not watered down. Cool vibes still with a locals feel. Except for holiday weekends in the summer.

Wow, lunch was great! We sat at the bar, fantastic service, the oysters very good. The drinks were not watered down or bottom shelf. She ( forgive me for forgetting her name) made drinks that you could taste everything that was in it. We had wings, sliders, pizza, salads and calamari and mussels! Outstanding! What a great lunch! We will return!

Our cocktails were wonderful. The DJ was great eccept it should have been in the back room. That way you could hear the music and still talk.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The food was exquisite. The service was absolutely phenomenal. The rate at which they brought our appetizers and meals and drinks out was perfect. We went at 5pm and got the prix fixe menu and it was superb. The appetizer portion you get for the menu was the full size appetizer and so we all got different ones and they were all superb. We will DEFINITELY be going back!!!

Very bad service

I had a luncheon/repast for my Mom on Sunday, March 30th. Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely service oriented and didnt miss anything. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. It was a tough day, but Caterina made it very special. My mother had a restaurant business years ago, and she would have been very pleased with her sendoff. Will certainly book my personal events at Aqua Blu!

Attended a party for a client of mine, oh my, we all had such a great time. There was a live DJ rocking the house, Cain the bartender was awesome, and Sully the owner took every effort in ensuring that we enjoyed our time.

Just a Bar visit to meet some old friends. Nice atmosphere for a Saturday night. Very energetic and enthusiastic crowd. DJ started around 9pm and the place was electric. I will be back with the wife for a dinner and to party afterwards.

Been there many times, always very good. This visit was not a disappointment. Service very good, wine list on the money. Menu, not to extensive, but all good. Pricing moderate, well worth the experience. Two main areas to eat, bar lively, restaurant quiet with view of open kitchen. Only let down is no water views, which you would expect given location.

Everything here is excellent. Had a big birthday party, the food, service and staff were just beyond excellent. I highly recommend this place for a party. The food was great- you must have antipasto table, it was very impressive! Excellent to work with -Anthony is amazing - from planning the party to execution, he ensure that everything runs smoothly. Christina and Kathy were exceptional and a warm wonderful family to work with. The food, ambiance and staff was the absolute best of anywhere Ive ever been. I would not hesitate to have another party at this venue.
