NEGATIVE 1 STAR.This warranty company is SCAM, will never pay out for ANY of your COVERED repairs. Purchased the extended lifetime warranty on my vehicle from one of their SHADY dealership EXOTIC AUTO GROUP in NJ in 2011. fast forward to Aug 2021 the 1st every COVERED COMPONENT claim was filed for a overheating car. I payed to change the ( temp sensor, thermostat, radiator & added an addl oil cooler) all parts not covered under warranty. After that costly repair it was determined that the vehicle NEEDED A HEAD GASKET.Spoke with the only Administrator the company has Denise, 1st impression was the feeling of denying the claim without the proper procedures. She kept saying the administrators will review, or THEY are having a hard time with this or that. Knowing WELL SHE IS THE ONLY OVERSEER ON YOUR CLAIM. thus why the reviews show the common noone is in the office reply... After getting the independent inspector that they SENT (PS..he looked for everything to do with void clauses in the contract instead of the MECHANICAL ISSUES).The claim was denied for General Provisions section, point #4: “this contract will become void if YOUR VEHICLE has been structurally modified in any way whatsoever from the manufactures specification or any parts supplied by the manufacture has been disconnected/removed/altered for any reason. the vehicle has lowering suspension, cold air intake, & non-conforming tires. I completely understand that! HERES where the BS started. I requested photos of the vehicle in its original purchased condition BECAUSE THATS WHEN THE CONTRACT WAS SOLD WITH IT. Ms. Denise stated she doesnt have them, i responded would you like me to email you the photos of the vehicle at time of purchase to PROVE that those MODIFICATIONS were present AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. Ofcourse her RESPONSE WAS NO. I asked her what was the guideline for the dealership when it comes to selling their warranty? she replied we are a third party warranty company, we have nothing to do with the dealership!So in short, SHE refused to accept proof showing the vehicle in its original condition at time of purchase, she accepted no blame for the car dealership swindling me out of $2800 and providing them with it. she gave me a hard time for documents and made assumption that the vehicle had to have major mechanical repairs in the past other than what was stated and provided, lastly the modification on the vehicle is against their contract even though it was there from the beginning. I cannot cancel the policy now nor could i cancel it back then if i realized because the cancellation policy is listed in the General Provisions section, point #10. Contracts may only be cancelled for a prorated refund if the vehicle is totaled in an accident for insurance purposes or if the vehicle is repossessed by the lienholder.One word DISGUSTINGRecommendation: Remove/Band company from BBB platform and update their current rating standard and bogus comments.. they love to mention it when called out for BS.

Denise is great, but do yourself a favor, when a dealer offers you an extended warranty with Auto Source of America, unlimited lifetime, please decline. They are the worst extended warranty company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. The BBB rating is pure none sense. If you have them now, sell that car!
If I could I would give them negative 5 stars. Please, do not purchase Auto Source warranty. They find the way to denied your claim anyway. I bought car last year and couple months later it were major broke down. They didn’t cover anything and it cost me $2000. Last week my car broke again and they denied again. It would cost me again couple thousands. Please, shop for good warranty company with good reviews, don’t waste your time on that company. I never heard anything worse than that company.
I purchased this warranty along with my car and got the highest coverage (Platinum) with the assurance that repair costs would be cheaper that way. So far I have had multiple repairs done to my car, and each time a claim is made, the company says that they do not cover it. It is absolutely pointless to have a maximum coverage plan when they in fact do not cover any of the costs!
Purchased a Mercedes Benz 300 C class with 79000 miles.When I took it to Benz to get an inspection the car I just paid $12000 for with a $2000 warranty had $8000 worth of repairs that were needed. The warranty covered absolutely nothing although the warrantee says covers axles that is a lie. Complete scam and waste of money.
Do not fall for this scam they will not pay. The scheme is an auto dealership will push their warranty and you feel youre buying great coverage.However it is not a real warranty. Their coverage is on certain parts. I had read their reviews and was hiping they would pay my repair but they said no.
Another dissatisfied policy holder. I had a timing chain stretch that was listed as covered in my policy. After spending too much time, and money on tear down and discussions with AutoSource ESP reps, the claim was denied. The best part is they refused to provide the reason for denying my claim in writing.As many had said, they will find a loophole and not pay for any substantial repair. Is it fair? For them you bet. They are not a service provider, they are a paper revenue bait and switch. Soulless money grabbers with sad dispositions as they know they’re dirt bagging America. Do not buy this policy if a dealer tries to sneak it in at the purchase of your vehicle. There are better options. Do your homework like I wish I did.
I reached out to Auto Source after having a break down and not knowing what to do. After a handful of easy and quick questions, I had a claim open in no time. Within four days my car was back on the road and has been running great since. Great plan, happy I went with them when I did.

Auto Source is definitely not a warranty company. Warranty: a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article, promising to repair or replace said article if necessary. Auto Source wants to put used parts in a high performance vehicle and despite what the repair facility states the cost is, Auto Source will tell you how much they are willing to pay if anything at all. Engine components they don’t want to pay for, suspension they dont want to pay for....everything that makes a vehicle properly operate Auto Source will not cover. DO NOT PURCHASE!!! If I could give negative stars on this review I would. Now they’re website is gone and I took a drive to their so called office...nothing there! This is not a legitimate company and should be investigated for fraud!!

This warranty company is great because everything that is expected of you as a car owner and all of the covered components are found within the contract. No hidden print. If you give your car routine maintenance checks and have your records, you are good to go.
I called autosource about what I thought were issues with my transmission. after a few simple and quick questions, I was able to have a claim opened. within a couple hours, I had answers as to how my Mercedes was going to be fixed. Great customer service and fast!
OK i purchased this warranty i year ago, i am now having an issue with my car and call the 1-800 number listed at the bottom of the contract and the number is not in service. i googled the address they have on file and called the number and same thing. What is this non sense?

There phone operator which is a rude female told me my rack and pinion wasn’t covered because it was leaking, she is very uneducated because it was leaking because it was broken . I would give them a NEGATIVE 10 stars if possible. I purchased a vehicle four months ago and have major issues with the power train, cooling system, sensors, and serious oil leak in the amount of $2500 estimated repairs. Conveniently for Auto Source they DO NOT COVER ANYTHING that is in need of repair. I spoke to Patty who would not answer me as to what they actually do cover. She would not provide the name of the owner of the company. THIS IS A SCAM! My so called Platinum Premium coverage which was suppose to be full coverage for 24,000 miles/2 years that cost me $2000 covers nothing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are happy to take your money but no do not stand by their warranty.
Would be zero stars if that was an option. These people will find every loophole to not fix your car. Was changing my rear diff fluid for the recommended every15k miles and noticed the gears needed to be fixed and took it to a jeep dealership as requested. 1. You cant do your own maintenance or that gets you denied. 2. If the dealership opens the cover and drains the fluid to get a REQUESTED QUOTE you get denied. These people wont help you say clear. They 100% make money on turning you away.
I have an extended warranty, so when I saw coolant in my driveway, I called AutoSource and spoke to their customer service department. I didnt have to hit a bunch of prompts to get another recording, a live person answered the phone to assist me! She was very courteous and helpful. She explained the claims procedure to me in such detail that I could not make a mistake. I had my car towed in and had the shop call in the claim before they did anything to my car. I needed a water pump, which was covered. My car was fixed within a day and I got reimbursed for my tow! Thanks AutoSource, for getting me back on the road so quickly!!

I needed a job done on a part that leaks....Thats what it does, IT LEAKS. It does not break or anything of the sort. The warranty does not cover the part if it leaks...This goes along with other parts of the car. This company is ridiculous and a scam. DO NOT CHOOSE THEM!!!
Even a 0 star does not do this company justice. I see them as a scam. These people will find every possible excuse to not fix your car. It was recommended to me that my engine needed some work. I contacted Auto Source and asked if they would refer me to their associate mechanic to inspect the engine. I was told it was ok to use my own personal mechanic to check and see what was the problem with the engine. Only later, they would deny my claim stating that my mechanic did a thorough inspection of the engine which was against their policy. They stated my mechanic was only suppose to look at the engine but not do a a through inspection. SCAM SCAM .
This is by far the biggest con- game that exists. Every part that they do cover, has another part that is not covered that can be blamed for its failure. Basically what that means is that they will go above and beyond the call of duty to prove to you that the covered part would not have failed if the part that is not covered didnt fail.I had a compressor fail and it was covered under warranty. Instead of paying for it, they sent some retard to scrutinize the car and report to them anything that could get them out of paying. They were successful. They claimed they saw evidence that the car may have had an oil leak and as a result of that oil leak, they will not pay for a the AC compressor.If a dealer offers you autosource warranty, cancel the purchase of the car and get out of there quickly, it is a warning sign that the dealer is also a crook.
Lady in customer service is nasty. They want me to install junkyard or aftermarket parts in customer car, when customer asked for OEM.

If I could rate NO STARS, I would. They are terrible. It is a complete rip-off. They make the warranty sound so good, but when it comes down tonit, they dont cover anything that is needed. They have worded it so it is nearly impossible for a mechanic to list something that would need fixed. And they dont let you cancel, even if you no longer have the vehice (unless I wreck & its totaled). I traded in the vehicle and still have 13 months on the warranty that Ive never been able to pay for any of the issues I had..... DO NOT PURCHASE from them.
Bought a platinum warranty...these guys wouldnt honor the first time i had a check engine because they claimed the part was brand specific. The second time they claimed that they didnt like the shop i was using...total scam of a company. Avoid at all costs. Going to take them to small claims court.

They will do anything to not cover the cost. If something is supppse to be covered they will try to find a loophole to not cover especially if it is expensive. This warranty Company sucks. They are a complete RIP OFF. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone unless the person is BLIND and doesnt drive. I purchased a warranty from this company for my vehicle in 2013. I never used them until January this Year and I was DENIED. I called them again on December 14 2015 and again I was DENIED. My Fuel pump stopped working on my 2007 Infiniti QX56. I was told that in order for my claim to be processed I would have to show all my receipts from Oil changes and other services. Since I changed my own Oil I dont have any receipts. They told me that I am supposed to take my vehicle to a dealership and hold the receipts. I asked what does a OIL Change have to do with a Fuel Pump. Still I was Denied. I was also told that the only way I could get out of the warranty was If my car was a total loss. I would not recommend this company to a Group of Clowns. Even though this is a Clown Company. I would not do anything with this company ever again from this point forward. I think they are working with the people selling you the vehicle to rip you off. WHATEVER YOU DECIDE NEVER EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY. You would do better asking your kids to fix your car before you call them.

I purchased an AutoSource Warranty when I purchased my 2014 BMW525 from a used car dealer recently. I love the car; it looks great and runs great. It was time for a service and I called AutoSource to find out what I should do. The customer service person was so helpful. I hadnt read the contract because you know how papers are put in front of you to sign and by that time, after being at the dealership for hours, you just want to be done so you sign away! She took the time to explain the kind of contract that I purchased, what I need to do, and that it is a mechanical breakdown contract and does not cover maintenance. She went over the claims procedure and customer responsibilities to make sure I understood what I needed to do in case I did have to call for a mechanical breakdown. All I can say is that they are very thorough and professional. I would recommend AutoSource to anyone.
A year after purchasing my car, I started experiencing issues with the water pump in my car. It was being very loud and noisy. I called Autosource for clarification on whether this issue would be covered under my warranty.The woman I spoke to was incredibly helpful. After my car was taken to a repair facility, the woman explained that my cars water pump was covered and would be paid for by Autosourcce.

All I can say is that I am so glad I purchased an extended warranty when I bought my 2013 Jeep Liberty. Two years ago I purchased an AutoSource warranty with platinum coverage. In October of 2017, my car was not shifting right. I am not a mechanic so I didnt know how bad it was until I took it to my mechanic. I knew the claims process due to a previous claim the year before, so I gave my mechanic the contract # and phone # to contact AutoSource ASAP. He spoke with a claims adjuster to open a claim. The adjuster was very thorough asking all sorts of questions. It turns out that the torque converter came apart and needed to be replaced. It was a covered repair under my contract so I only had to pay out of pocket my deductible and for the filter fluids needed after the repair. AutoSource paid the rest and I was back on the within 4 days!
Auto source is a complete waste of time and money. I purchased a warranty from the dealer for my Bmw for about $2500 and it was being financed over 4 years. Needless to say that every time something needed repair it was not covered due to all the exclusions in the plan. One time a starter was covered but they wanted to pay for a third party starter that was found on a website that they search for wholesale parts to put on your car just to save money. Not the oem part but the cheapest part. And the labor rate that is authorized by Autosource is well below what just about all shops charge for labor so you have to pay the difference. This was a total rip off. No longer have the car and out of 4 years they half way honored 1 claim. Please don’t purchase a warranty from this place or any extended car warranty for that matter. They are in the business of making money and paying out as little as possible after getting yours.
If I could give a Zero star review I would. I bought this extended lifetime powertrain warranty through the chevy dealer I got my car through and was assured that the company was a good one. WRONG. A year and a half after getting the car a few of the components in the power train were going bad and it was starting to get really noticeable. Brought the car to a certified dealer and had them submit the claim to the insurance everything that should be covered under a power train warranty. THEY DENIED THE CLAIM AND THEN TOLD ME TO GET IT FIXED OR THEY WOULD DENY FURTHER CLAIMS. Such a scam.
They are still trying very hard to deny me a new engine which my car needs 100% I will be taking them to court if they give me anymore issues. Its been more than a month now.
If you have the option, choose another 3rd party warranty company. I chose the platinum package with Auto Source. I have a BMW and encountered an issue with the Ignition Coil and Spark Plugs. Car was taken to BMW dealership and they indicated Auto Source was the worst warranty company they have ever dealt with. At the end of the day, Auto Source declined to cover the cost of the repair, adding up to $1,124. I am filing a complaint with the Department of Insurance and Attorney General regarding my claim.

How this company is still in business and how they are allowed to be in business is beyond me. I purchased the gold plan, and it clearly states that the turbo chargers are a covered component, about a little over s month after purchasing the car the turbos blew, I towed it to a shop and called these people, they advised me to have the service shop contact them with diagnosis, and estimate, the repair shop contacted them and advised auto source that the turbo Chargers were blow causing the waste gates to be stuck open and causing and ahorrible rattle . They refused the claim stating that waste gates are not covered under the contract, I agree that it is not, but this is just another excuse for them not to pay for repair as the repair shop clearly stated that the issue was the turbo chargers that blew which again are covered under contract. They are completely uneducated and make rash decisions on repair without knowing what light bulb even is on a car. Again root of problem are turbo chargers Ive now taken the car to 3 ASE certified mechanics as well as 2 master mechanics with bmw and all diagnosed the turbo charges to be blown, which again are covered under gold membership. Waste of money dont bother, maybe theyll respond to my BBB complaint, and actually honor the coverage in the contract. Fingers crossed, also the manager was supposed to call me and called once I missed the call and called back literally 30 seconds later and they told me hes in a meeting, and would call me back, never did.
You people charge an outrageous amt. of $ for your warranties & they dont cover the most important aspects of the car we are buying it for re: Toyota Prius hybrid. You could at least cover a portion of the cost. I am aware of all of the complaints against your co. so there is surely a problem w/ the service you offer. I despise companies like you. I am disabled & on very low income. I cant even keep the car I loved & took care of thanks to your misleading warranty.

I purchased a used vehicle and the dealership had me purchase a warranty from AutoSource. After about 5 months my check engine light and my coolant light came on. I called AutoSource and spoke with their customer service department. They were extremely helpful and explained my contract to me, answered all my questions, and explained what I should do next. I was instructed to stop driving my car because it could be a serious problem. I took their advice and had my cartowed to my repair facility. It turns out that my thermostat was stuck closed and my water pump had a bad leak. My mechanic said that it was a good thing that I stopped driving the car when I did or I could have caused serious engine problems. The coolant was almost empty. Thank You AutoSource for telling me to have it towed because I would have driven it. You covered the water pump under my contract. Again thank you for the excellent service!! I would recommend your warranty to my friends. They were professional and informative. Great Service!
I dont think trash describe Auto source warranty. I bought the warranty from $2900 from the dealer that i bought my car, later on i find out it was just worth $2400 the best one( yes i got hustle). Anyways i took my porsche panamera to my mechanic after 4 months and had couple of things wrong, All the parts were in the pamphlet they give you, my mechanic call them up and they didnt want to cover none of the parts because they say it was Wear and tear damage( what??) of course thats why i got warranty for ! . i had to pay out of my pocket. 2nd time my mechanic had to argue with the manager because there were giving him the same bs, they decided to cover but out of $3000 dollars worth of parts they only pay 800 (they find the cheapest Chinese parts and that what they go for) PLEASE dont buy Auto Source Warranty.
Getting this warranty is like getting a new job. You have save the receipt of all the oil changes you do to your vehicle. And, they have to have a bunch of details they ask for (who keeps that stuff around). Also, they dont cover anything. If you take your car to the shop when you are supposed to there is little chances that anything they cover will go bad. Instead of getting this just put this money on a savings account for when you car need maintenance.

My experience started out horribly wrong. Within 3 months of my purchase of my Audi S4 it experienced complete transmission failure. I was outside the time limit and mileage limit for which the dealer had any legal responsibility. I made my claim on 08/16 and the claim was approved within 1 week. The car was then taken to a transmission shop where auto source was affiliated with in Lawrence NY. The shop owner stated he was able and willing to fix my issues. Fast forward 3 months when the car was deemed fixed. I had to pay $5,000 out of pocket to release my car from the shop. I was not happy to say the least, auto source did cover what was stated in the contract and I was responsible for the parts that were not listed. I didnt care, as long as the car was working and some of the cost was covered by the Autosource warranty. 5 days later the car experienced the same issue and I returned to the same shop that repaired the car. From 11/2016 until 02/17 the shop owner was unable to fix the car and admitted he cannot fix it on 02/17. That same day I contacted Autosource and spoke to the claims manager John who routed my case to the President of Autosurce of who outraged that I was without my car for so long as the repair shop did not inform Autosource of all the issues that he was experiencing trying to fix my car. Autosource gave me the choice of a refund of the cost of the extended warranty or to have the car fully repaired at no cost to me and have my $5,000 fully refunded because of my experience. This company could have fought me tooth and nail to deny this was not their issue, they did not have to give me options to resolve this issue in a speedy matter but at the end of the day- they did right by me. A lot of people complain about extended warranties but dont actually read their contract. I knew I would have to pay out of pocket for non-covered parts however this company went above and beyond to rectify my issue as best they could and I commend them on that. Before you get mad about your warranty issue make sure you read before you sign, if more people did this the other reviews would not be here. After a 6 month hellish experience I am totally stratified with the service this company has given me to right all my wrongs.

I cant even begin to describe how self serving these people are. I recently opened up a claim because my engine needed work. They requested I send them reciept from the last 45000 miles along with a copy of my registration, which I did. Needless to say, my claim was declined because of a recurring clerical error in which my regular shop was not updating the mileage on my receipts. I then told them, that it was just a clerical error (according to the shop) and offered to send in bank statements backing each and every single one of the reciepts. According to one of the managers there The fact that you paid these isnt relevant. The mileage doesnt make sense. She then started mentioning how the contract states that the reciepts have to be perfect and how there was nothing I could do. So basically, the money I paid them is pocketed and thats that.Make no mistake, these people are not here to help you. Do not give them your money. Theyll most likely attempt to deny your claim for spelling errors too (I say that in jest, but I wouldnt be surprised).Regards,Jerry C.

Let me start by saying that this warranty coverage is GARBAGE and it seems that these people are SCAMMERS too. Heres an example of how they work...You take your car with your PLATINUM BUMPER TO BUMPER AUTOSOURCE COVERAGE to your local shop . The shop has to call them before the technician even thinks of touching your car. They will take 3 days searching the Internet to see who on this planet has the cheapest USED PART for your vehicle. They are going to tell you... we found the $400 part needed for your vehicle in this 3rd world country for $110 and we will honor that price. The financing person at PRESTIGE AUTO GROUP OF AVENEL told me this AUTOSOURCE PLATINUM COVERAGE was a bumper to bumper coverage and every part of your car is covered... well that was a lie. I wouldnt be surprised if AUTOSOURCE is part of PRESTIGE AUTO GROUP IN AVENEL. I asked the technician at my local dealer shop if he has ever dealt or even heard of this company and he said never..not only that Ive never had to wait 3 days for a company to review a claim... OK.. Ill give AUTOSOURCE the benefit of the doubt and say part of that waiting was because the people working on your claim might have a mild case of down syndrome and not only cause theyre trying to find a way to screw you. Im not going to tell you to get this warranty or to not get it thats your decision... but after reading this.. a balloon tide up to a chair would know what to do.

Needed my power mirror motor replaced and Auto Source replaced it. They worked with the auto shop and my car was fixed in no time.
This company sucks my Bmw broke took it to dealership they pissed the dealer off so much they said they would never work with them, so then I had to pay for another tow out of pocket to another shop then they tell me they only honor my water pump and everything else I had to pay out of pocket and if I dont do it now they wont cover me later and I only have a day to agree or not smh...do not do business with these guys they are a scam scam scam definitely working with dealerships to steal money and cover absolutely nothing

Three months after buying my Chevy Tahoe I started to experience issues with the engine. I called Autosource and spoke with the head of claims. He instructed me to take the vehicle to a licensed repair facility. After taking the car to the repair facility of my choosing, Autosource paid for the replacement of my engine.
I have had such a hassel and hustle from this place. Calling and emailing and waiting is bad customer service. They are not a reputable company.
Please stay away from thick company .so call a 10 days contract after the 10 day u cannot cancel please please stay away
Garbage warranty company. One star is way too much. 1,400 job they only cover 275. They only pay for used or aftermarket parts.
