A honest, good mechanic is hard to find. Tim is one of the best I have come across. When people ask me if I know a good auto shop I can tell them Ellis Performance knowing with confidence they will get an honest repair.

Don’t give this shop your money‼️🚫This place is unprofessional the owner complains about his personal problems all the time. Originally in May 2020 we paid $2400 for our vehicle to get fixed. He kept our car for a month. Our car broke down on the side of the road in July 2020 we got it towed to his shop. Then he quoted us $1300 kept the car for two weeks. After waiting for two weeks I called for an update he made excuses blamed it on his personal problems, why our car wasn’t getting worked on. So I decided to show up at the shop to see what was going on? Our car was not getting worked on at all. He could not explain to me what exactly was the problem after having our car for two weeks. We decided to take our business else where. We had to get our car towed out of the shop. He demanded to get paid $650 or he was going to keep our car. He price gauged us $650 for a fuel pump & labor when that part is only $300.00. Again our car wasn’t DRIVABLE AT ALL!!!! He yelled at me he said next time I should buy a better car! His assistant kept laughing the whole time I was talking to the owner. He refuses to answer questions on what he fixed doesn’t give out an itemized bill on what each part cost. THE NEXT MECHANIC I TOOK MY CAR TO SHOWED ME WHERE ELLIS DID NOT TIGHT BACK UP ONE OF THE SCREWS THAT HOLDS THE CAR MOTOR.

Tim has been doing mechanic work for my family for years. It wasnt until recently that I had to start using him personally, as I was in the car buying process. I was looking at a car with a clean title, but had been in an accident and I asked Tim to take a look at it. He agreed happily, and put the car on a lift and gave it a complete inspection. He even checked the spare tire and aired it up. With his approval, I bought the car.Several months later my wife was in an accident and damaged the car and destroyed one of the tires. I put on the spare tire (that time was detailed enough to air up for me) and got it to his shop. In only two days Tim had ordered the replacement parts, and completed the work, while communicating with me clearly throughout the process. The work was complete and I believe priced more than fair.Its difficult to find an Honest mechanic out there, but Tim is more than honest. As long as he is in business, he is where I will go to for our auto needs, and I will recommend him and Ellis performance to anyone.
