Connor was fantastic as the face of this business. He was clear and honest. I was recommended to go here from a friend since he also had great experience here. I dont mind spending money to maintain my vehicle, but I cannot stand going somewhere and feeling like I am being ripped off with unnecessary repairs. This business was not like that at all. I felt I got exactly what was needed and nothing more for an honest price.

I wish I could do all my vehicle maintenance and repairs with Brake check but like almost all auto repair shops, they dont do all auto work. Theyre very professional, treat you with respect, and their service is quick. They take time to explain what the problem is with your car to you. They did a good job of explaining my brake problem to me in detail. They dont overcharge. Ill go there again and again

I took my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Eco Diesel too them for my brakes fell off my truck while driving and the caliper and mounting bracket rotated to the bottom of my rotor, if you know anything about vehicles you can only imagine.Conner was tremendous help, with honesty,professionalism and his outstanding staff his technician had my truck in an out in 3 hours. They came across an issue with my steering knuckle and was able to get it resolved. They changed my brake pads, caliper & mounting bracket. Very reasonably priced, high quality work. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs automotive services.

Great Experience! Recently had my steering out of whack, and they were able to fix it, and also align the other wheels while they were at it. I expressed concerns about a back wheel that appeared to be shaking while driving at speed, and they gave me some paperwork of the measurements that they look at, as well as lifted up the truck to show me exactly what was going on, and showed me that they could not find anything that was causing a shake. Treated me like a human being, and did not charge an arm and a leg for quality service. Thank you Brake Check!

Alex the store manager was fantastic and very professional. I screwed up my appointment time and they were able to accommodate me anyway. He even saved me $140 off my quoted price, because upon inspection, it turned out that replacements werent needed except for the rear pads. Just rotor resurfacing was all that was needed. I like that he didnt go overboard with trying to upsell and just recommended what was relevant.

Ive had the same excellent experience every time Ive been here. Alex is friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me accurate and honest evaluations of the issues. He did not try to charge or scare me into getting unneeded work done. The estimates were all fair. I will be coming here for future work.

This is my first experience with Brake Check. I contacted Connor at the FM 1960 location. He was courteous and answered my questions.He was empathetic to my last minute service request, and while he couldn’t handle my service at his location, he directed me to the Tomball shop. Again, Luke, was courteous and professional. He was able to provide the service in a timely manner. He showed me the work that needed to be done and handled it with expedience.I’m very pleased and impressed by the quality of the people representing Brake Check...and I highly recommend them!

I went there for wheel alignment and they were very helpful and professional. They did a really good job 👏.

We were in town from out of state and started to experience brake issues. We looked at several places and based on reviews, we decided to go to Brake check! Wow, we are very glad we did! Alex and Luke were amazing and very good to work with. They installed new brakes while we attended a funeral and had our vehicle ready for us when we got back. The cost was actually lower then it would of cost us back home. A month later, we are very pleased with our new brakes.

The thing I didn’t like Is I had to wait almost 2 hours,I came here before and it took like 15 minutes to do the alignment.Other than that is a good place with a good price .

I called Brake Check early Friday afternoon to confirm what time they open Saturday since they said they were too busy to take it Friday. They informed me they would open at 8:00 Saturday morning, so I arrived a few minutes before then. When I arrived there was another customer already waiting because the sign on the door states their Saturday hours are 7:30 - 6:00, and the customer had arrived at 7:30. The first technician finally arrived at 8:30, but had to search for a key in his truck to open the building. A second technician arrived at 9:00, but no sign of a manager. Since there were already 5 persons awaiting service by then and still no manager, I knew it was going to take quite a bit longer before my service was completed, so rather than wait I called for a ride and said I would pick my truck up later rather than wait. I would have thought when paying the fill-in manager several hours later he would have automatically offered a small discount knowing what took place that morning before he arrived, but there was no discount offered, and no apology either. A very small discount or even an apology can go a long way to keep a customer happy after they’ve been inconvenienced by the store. Last time I had work done at this store I had to loan them a tool to remove the hubcaps on my dually. I may be looking for another shop in the future.

Worst car repair service I have ever had. Simple brake pad replacement and repairs to my calipers resulted in returning to the shop 3 more times for a total of 15 hours of additional repair work to fix problems from the initial work. $750.00 later my calipers are still not fixed and the 3 different managers that have run the store in the last 7 months refuse to fix it. Unprofessional and misleading managers all blame the problems on previous staff, yet do not honor their policy to get it right as their motto claims. Corporate management also does not protect customers from the poorly run shop. Best advice would be to use Kwik Kar on main street or pay more at a dealership for repairs and staff you can trust!

This place was great! I had just bought an RV that was completely rusted underneath, barely drivable. In 1 day they got it ready, at a fair price, to drive to Austin. Wish I lived closer to this shop, would definitely go there again if in the area.

I knew my brakes were bad just didn’t know to what extent. They offered their free inspection and instead of just talking about what they found they took me out to the car and showed me everything they had found. Not only were the brake pads non existent but my rotors were messed up. They helped me find a solution and fixed it up even though I didn’t have an appointment. Completely fixed rotors, and lifetime warranty brakes at a reasonable price compared to others. I will definitely be going back with my other car when needed.

This company is a joke. I tried using a different location after the last one robbed me out of $400. This location did not correctly identify my issue, did not honor my warranty and wanted me to pay more for the mistake made at a different location. I suggest taking your car to a real mechanic.

Tracy and his teammates were very through in both there inspection and the diagnostics of my vehicle. So I would have a proper knowledge of both my problems and the costs involved in repairing those problems. They then proceeded to repair my vehicle based upon my decisions and the budget I had available. I appreciated there professional advice, and their workmanship in fixing my vehicle. Had to replace my brake pads and front rotors. The work they did was fine, but the wait time was ridiculous. I was told 1 hour 10 min when I got there. 5 hours later it was finally done. Many times when I would look into the shop the mechanics were standing around not doing anything except playing “basketball” with trash into the 55 gallon trash cans. I had to ask several times for them to please get my tires back on. Very frustrating especially considering the good reviews. I will not be back.

Just dont get me started... They fixed the issue, didnt apologize and did a terrible job communicating. We wont be back. Save the comment about contacting us or me not being in your system... My husband is in the system not me. Hope you all improve on calling people in a timely fashion and not making excuses or getting answers out of mechanical who clearly screwed up and didnt test drive something before saying it was safe and they didnt eat drive it.

Great service with solid recommendations. Didnt try to over sell me while personally showing me what my Jeep needed for better brake performance. Other than their AC being down at the time, I recommend this location as they provide great customer service. Down to earth service is hard to find these days.

I watched one of there young technicians stall my vehicle 5 times in a row while in the air on a lift... I literally had to go out into the shop myself to back the car off. This location is pathetic
