Find a different gym, dont waste your time- I was new to Toledo and signed up for the downtown YMCA. I only ended up using the facilities twice. The machinery was OK, nothing special but no issues, however the hours were very difficult to work around if you work a 9-5 (only open to 1pm Sat, not open Sunday). Additionally, when I tried to cancel I was told I could not because they require a 1 year commitment so unless I was moving out of the area they would not let me cancel.11 months later I am moving to Boston and closed yesterday. I called today to show proof of moving and cancel, but was also charged another $40. The receptionist did not let me speak with a manger and told me I had to pay for yet another month even though I will be living 3 states away.No wonder they have to lock people into a year commitment just to keep people paying.

Convenient location for Old West Enders and all of the inner-city Toledo neighborhoods as well as the East Side. Staff is helpful and attentive, although its not quite the same without Maria behind the front desk every morning. Parking in the Promedica garage (during Y hours) is included in the membership and is a nice bonus. Equipment is updated and well maintained, and they have added a few new machines over the past year.

Brand new facility, brand new equipment! Covid has killed the crowds and also all the construction downtown. I literally have the entire place to myself for 1hr every morning. Its heaven haha. Downsides are NO pool NO sauna or steam room. Other than that I love this little spot for my AM sessions.
