After years of doing one way trips from virginia to toledo or vice versa, I was stunned and stuck after the death of my grandson and an on the go booking resulted in me arriving in Ohio with my wife to find out I was stuck.sorry sir, no one way rentals and your reservation was erroneously made as a local. Si my choice was to make my wife walk away from a family tragedy, book a flight at the last minute or lose my job. Ironically three phone calls later and they thanked me for calling enterprise with my needs. No attempts to actually help, and I am stuck.
If you have a net spend card then you cannot rent a car from here. I wish I would have known that before driving 30 min and dropping my car off to get fixed. Now I’m buying a new car
I visited here after an car accident put my daily driver out off commission. The insurance company covered most of the charges. My only suggestion would be to let the customer pick out there rental beforehand if possible and to allow them to swap it out. The car I was given was a newer luxury vehicle but it didn’t have great tires for the season, the tires were bad in all the snow we received. Other than that service was excellent, with a bit of a wait but during winter I suspect a lot of people are there because of accidents. It still would be nice to have you approve the car before they just hand you the keys. Other than that make sure you really take care to voice your opinion on your rental before accepting.

The car was clean and comfortable. The staff was professional and helpful. Checking in took maybe 10 min and I was on the road. And returning the vehicle took about 5 min. I will continue to use Enterprise for all future trips.

Wanted to rent a mid size (CAR) booked it with plenty of time to have one at the location for pickup but...... instead...... I get there and the let someone else take mine and tried to put me in a mid size (SUV) a free upgrade that I did not want!!!! Now I have now rental for the weekend!!!!! 👎
Did not like paying $200 deposit on top of my rental car price using my credit card not a debit card. I will not return when other rental car companies do not hold a deposit when you use a credit card. I also did not like the extras for roadside assistance per day or if car broken into per day. If you don’t select it then you have to use your personal insurance for roadside, towing and car repair for tires etc. At this rate, you might as well drive your own vehicle and stop renting. Such a shame that things are not progressing in a good way with this company.
Tried to order a car to be picked up in Samaria. First of all I couldnt understand the guy and he clearly couldnt understand me because he had me getting picked up in Saginaw. I tried calling other locations but they were no help. I guess Ill just have to rent one at the counter.
I just got into a car accident and i’m already upset and you’d think people would be a little more understanding and patient. I explained myself multiple times just to get asked the same question. Just rude. Especially Zay & Chelsea. They could use a training class on how to treat people
Worst experience of my ENTIRE existence. I wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS, not even 0. The manager Zay is the most disrespectful, selfish individual I have ever encountered. For being in this industry, you’d think a manager would try to make a bad experience a little better - nope, not at all. in fact, I am convinced he made it a point to make it worse.Rolls his eyes at you, talks over you, acts defensive with any kind of negative feedback, even though it was not directed at him - it was the experience as a whole.They charged a ton of money on my card, and gave me hell trying to get a refund - which I definitely got in the end - it took 4 weeks rather than 4 days (according to Zay) AND YES, I had to go over their heads to corporate.I will never use enterprise again, and I would never recommend them to anyone. Spend a little extra and go elsewhere if you know whats in your best interest.

Touting 4x4 and not having an option for it is foolish. They have it and you can only hope they have availability by luck when you show to pick up a car. Shady as can be. Corporate fools know nothing of inclemental weather as they sit at home and do nothing.

I rented from the Enterprise on Alexis & Jackman in Toledo, OH for over a month, total coming to $1100+. I go to renew my contract and they tell me they do not take my card (Chime) which didn’t make sense because this is the card Iv been using the whole month they were charging me! Long story short I wasn’t able to get a new rental and was stranded for a good 30min in the very hot sun! Iv called customer care TWICE just to be told someone will contact me and here it is Monday & I have not spoken to anyone smh

We were told and confirmed our pick up when we arrived the store was closed. We called the number and were directed to another location, no where near as convenient. It was rush hour so it took a long time.

Well first of all they closed the Enterprise that I last rent from,so that was a inconvenience. Then they did not have a car with GPS which was disappointing. And one thing that upset me was they ask me for references which I was never asked before. I am 63 years old if I have the money to pay for this rental why do I need references. This experience was a lot different than those in the past. Dont know if I will use again, I will have to think about it

If you get offered a a rental car from your insurance company I would recommend not having it be through Enterprise especially if your car was just totaled and you have to go to work the next day if you dont have the normal bank account no matter if you have bank statements available and mail with an address it wont matter so I hope you have plenty of time to take off until you buy a new car or get a car repaired nothing but a terrible interaction for me.
Though there was a mix up with my rental in the beginning, Enterprise more than made up for the problem. As usual, the service was fantastic.
I just want to start off by saying this location is awesome! I had to rent a car because someone hit my leased car in a parking lot while I was shopping(irritating), while my car was in the shop I obviously needed a car to rent. I was offered a Corolla(ew) and got upgraded to a 2020 Cherokee instead for not a lot extra...I loved it! The girl I had was super nice and understanding, great customer service!

Very polite and helpful people. Service oriented .Hartford car insurance sent me here for a rental after an auto accident. They gave me a similar but more expensive Dodge Ram truck . It was a great experience so many car rentals have ripped me off but not them. It was the first time I came away with a good experience after renting a car . Usually they rip you off one way or another not Enterprise . It was the second time 12 years apart

Extremely great service my last two visits. Gabe was very thorough and considerate of my children, even so much so that he pulled the vehicle around and offered to aide in getting my things in the rental car. The rental reservation took place online and was very smooth for finalization. Thank you Gabe and the crew for such a pleasant morning, I truly needed it.
Waited outside in the cold 20 minutes. Door was locked. Sign said cleaning a car. Girl returned and was on phone 10 minutes. I asked for free gas for my inconvenience she said no.
They at least deserve 2 because the employees I dealt with were very friendly & most locations are well maintained & clean. The problems I had was 1) they rented out a vehicle to me that had no taillights. I ended up getting pulled over on my way home one morning. Luckily the officer let me go since it was a rental. 2) I had to take it into my own hands to fix the taillights. They didnt reimburse me or care that they rented out an illegal running car. 3) I unfortunately hit a deer in the rental the day before returning it. I was only suppose to pay my comprehensive deductible but they demanded my collision deductible. I told my insurance about it. I will post later if Enterprise gives me problems reimbursing me the difference. 4) some of their locations need an update on the office. Such as the Adrian, MI location. Also, have more vehicles in stock at that location.Update on reimbursement, they took 4 months to give me my $ back. Never sent it out like they told me whenever I called & screwed up on the address that I clearly emailed to them a few times.
Better than average Enterprise location. Decent selection of vehicles most times. Plan extra time for check in - last rental took an additional 20 minutes to prep car, do paperwork, etc. - on top of us being 10 min. late to pick up. Most recent rental was Fiesta - perfect city car for trip to Chicago, was clean, no major safety issues (one tire noticeably under-inflated) and slightly smokey interior.
Handled some wrinkles in our insurance, and a request for me to drive a different car beautifully!

Weve rented from here a couple times for family trips when we dont want to put the miles on our own vehicles. Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Last 2 trips we were majorly upgraded to nicer vehicles at no cost just because they felt like it. Definitely improved the entire trip! We will definitely return.
A year ago I rated this location 5 stars. After this mornings debacle I felt I needed to change my rating to more closely reflect how I currently feel about this location. I reserved a van for this morning several days ago. I show up and tell me they have no vans available. Fine, I understand things happen, but if I get stuck with whatever vehicle they have available should I at least get charged that vehicles rate instead of being charged for the one I originally reserved ahead of time?

This was Great! I reserved my car with out any hassles. And when picking up, was given a choice of some very nice vehicles. I went with the 2015 Mustang. Quick check out and I was on the road in no time.Check in went very smoothly as well. In and out in less than 5 minutes. I will be back for future rentals
Wow!!! Upon answering the phone, a very hospitable voice says, they didnt have any cars immediately available. I then explained my situation, she offered me a truck, as all I needed was something that moved, I took it. Then Summer, the voice on the other end, sent one of the detailing guys to pick me up, as well as she personally dropped me back off after I returned my vehicle. Ive since learned that this was one of the harsher places to work from in the area. If I ever have need of a rental vehicle in the Toledo area this is the place Im going to.
I havent rented the car, yet. I stopped in to ask some questions, before making my reservation. They were very busy, but extra employees started appearing to help out, even though there werent enough computers for everyone. That was great, since they didnt need computers for what some of us needed. They were all very friendly and helpful, even when the entire lobby was full.
Ive used enterprise several times and always had a good experience! Ive had some not so great interactions at other locations but Ive gone to this location for my last few rentals with enterprise and every time is excellent service. The cars are always very clean and run great! This past visit started off a little rocky, since I just dropped in and didnt prebook I could not be informed that a certain policy had changed since I had last rented. I was frustrated but understood why it was needed, Rana was sooo helpful and patient while we dug through our phones for the proper paperwork required for using a debit/bank card. She addressed any and all concerns we had and helped us get the best rate for the price range we were looking for in just the right kinda car we needed, Rana really went out of her way to make our experience the best Ive ever had with enterprise! I would highly recommend this location they are very helpful!!

Meant a man name Rico, he is a very excellent worker and very efficient, he had answered all of my questions. highly satisfied. First i called to ensure i had all the documents prepared and when i got in it was just as instructed. Remember to keep the records/receipt given to you because with out it things can change really fast.

Literally called me less than 24hrs before pick up and said they had no vehicles for me. Then no vehicles in or around surrounding areas and I literally leave tomorrow and I might get a call from a manager today or tomorrow. I literally should be in the car driving tomorrow.
The agent was very helpful and gave my the best deal available at the time which allowed me to upgrade to a more comfortable vehicle for minimum additional cost.
Was supposed to pick car up at 1630, didnt end up leaving there till almost 1800. The car they first showed us was so dirty and filled with stains it was disgusting . Then the second car, we did the walk around and everything was looks good and we were ready to take it and go since we were already behind schedule Oh, and then for some reason they couldnt process the car. So then they gave us a upgrade, but then we had to go through the same process with that. Which by the time that was over. It was almost 1800 and we only had 1/4 of a tank of gas

Was told debit cards are accepted under certain conditions and that mine would be. but bonnie told me no after i walked 2 miles after confirming with her . I contacted hq and could have gone over her head and used my debit but chose to never use enterprise again and let the community know instead.
Rented cars before with Debit Card and no problems and then the last time I tried to rent a car I was asked for other forms of identification! I feel as though I’m was discriminated against and will never go there again !

Good folks to deal with on a recent 3-day rental...Came in early-morning for pickup- Only car in my reserved-class available had been dropped off in an absolute mess state, trashed inside - requiring a deep detailing in a hurry...Chris was very helpful to get me out of there quickly by assisting his maintenance guy in the garage. Only sorry that i didnt have time to fill half a tank when i left the car using key-drop so i got charged the extra buck - a gallon but already had a great costco rate so it wasnt a major deal ..and actually their pre-paid fillup deal wouldve been reasonable in this case.

Over the phone I found the staff to be rude & impatient. In person they were nicer. I got a car that smelled like an ashtray & had visible burn marks on the seat. I called to request an exchange because the smell was so bad, my clothing smelled as if I had been smoking. Someone took a message, but no one ever called me back. I was eventually able to get a different car from another branch. Be more patient when talking to customers, LISTEN to what is being asked, work on phone etiquette.

I had to wait a half hour beyond my pickup time and was already late to an appointment, leaving me without enough time to look over the car, not that I was given that time by the employee who handled the transaction; she pretty much threw the paperwork at me and then rushed back inside out of the rain. Then they charged me for damage to the car that existed prior to my renting it. I was a loyal Enterprise customer for the last 10 years, but never again.
Rented a car yesterday, and left two hours late due to car needing an oil change.This morning when I dropped it off the waved the second day plus gave me an upgrade for my next and a few other benefits without a fight.Made an early morning start better, and hopefully a trend for the rest of the day.Thank you.

We have been using this specific location for our rental car services for years now. Their rates are lower than the other Enterprise locations, their customer service use to be, and they use to be flexible with specific needs for our group.Now the manager that ran the place moved, the quality is gone. I ended up having to clean the inside and outside of the car myself, and after the rental I found out that what they gave me was a lower rated car than what I was paying for. They use to upgrade for return customers, now they downgrade their cars leaving you to clean it and gas up the car yourself.

The woman that helped me rent the vehicle was very helpful and nice. I wasnt sure if my insurance covered the rental so she charged me for insurance for one day. I confirmed that my insurance would cover the rental. I called her several times the day the car was due back to extend the date and the woman didnt return my calls. I then spoke with a gentleman who told me I owed $13. I didnt understand why because I paid for the week and also put down a deposit that I was expecting back. So I drove to enterprise to speak with the woman who helped me in the beginning and she told me she charged me every day for the insurance!!! Stating I shouldve called to cancel when she told me she only put insurance on the car for one day!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Horrible communication.

When I picked up the vehicle from Enterprise, it was dirty, inside and out. On the first day of my trip, I needed to use the washer fluid to clear the dirt from the windshield. To my surprise, there was no windshield washer fluid. Had to stop and purchase the fluid. When I returned the vehicle one week later, I told the staff about this. The explanation I got was that they were out of windshield washer fluid the week I picked up the vehicle. Just what kind of operation are they running? What next, sorry you didn’t have any brakes, we were all out of brake fluid. Will be renting from an alternative car rental on my next trip.
I have used this branch for car rentals for about 3 years now, I will not go anywhere else. I think the staff goes beyond in customer service-every single time. They are efficient, always helpful, professional, truly nice people. I have NEVER, not once, had a problem there.
The only problem was waiting outside the office for an associate to help us. It was raining and having to wait for help was annoying. Might want to set up something for the customer to wait in their care and then allow them to go into the office.
The staff here is awesome! I love this location. They are so helpful!
