Father and Son did a siding job on my home 2 years ago. I cant express how disappointed I am in their work. Siding fell off my home within 4 weeks of the project. They sent crews out to re-install it 4 different times. I eventually had to take legal action. They responded saying they are starting to close their company, therefore not honoring any further lifetime warranties I advise you to avoid this company. Roger Stuart has been proven a dishonest business professional.

Got an estimate from them. Called back to schedule the work, they said they couldnt schedule then but would call me back. Never did. Ive been calling them every day for about two weeks. No answer. Left messages that dont get returned. Tried submitting a request for a new estimate, still nothing. Dont bother with them; they dont want your business.

These guys are a complete joke. I hired them to build a deck for us several years ago (I should have wrote this review then, I know). They took so many short cuts and did not complete the job to perfection. Examples: They did not install the appropriate hardware for the deck gate even after bringing it to their attention multiple times - left the deck gate to swing around freely; they neglected to fasten down many of the deck boards with the right amount of screws, this has led to the warping of some of these boards; there is one deck board in particular that was not measured/cut to the right size, leaving an inch gap between the boards (picture included); I also had them install a privacy fence - part of the bottom was cut out away on one of the sections to conform to a section of grass that they were too lazy to simply remove. This looked absolutely hideous, however has since been fixed by someone much more competent. Mind you, these issues were brought to their attention, but father had all the excuses for his sons poor workmanship quality. It is my fault I decided to pay them instead of holding out until the job was done right, but at the time I just wanted to be done with them. LAZY and RUDE define them quite well. Avoid at all costs.UPDATE: I reached out to Father and Son after their reply and they fixed the issue without hassle. My opinion has since become more favorable of them. Had Father & Son do a 1200 sq ft addition with new HVAC and plumbing. I have been calling for more than 3 years to have the finishing work done and they will just give a run around. I have not been able to close our master bedroom doors since the project was completed, furnace went out, flooring has always been bowed, drywall and grout has cracked, siding has come loose and vent covers were never replaced. When I did get them to come out an look the response was...well get back to you with a time Roger is impossible to work with and their internal communication is horrible. No warranties honored

Had who I think was the father Roger come into our business to give us an estimate on replacing windows. He was very rude to me and treated me as if I had no business (as a women) handling this sort of thing. It has been 2 weeks and I still havent heard back from them. they are now DENIED!!! perhaps father should retire and leave customer interaction to the son.

Called for a price on a small siding job. Person on phone told me the job was too small for them! Their ad says no job too small . I say B.S! I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy! I am disabled and was looking for help.

Husband set up an appointment for a specific day/time. Called 2 hours later to revise the appointment time as something had come up and the man hadn’t even remembered that they’d spoken to begin with.....2 hours previously. Odd, but in the grand scheme of things, no biggie. Husband dealt with him when he came out to look at the job. Day came to pay for his services but I had a feeling that he wasn’t clear on exactly what we needed from him (construction wise); not his fault, my husband was not completely clear. Again, no big deal, but I’m glad I caught it. Called him to explain precisely what we needed from him and sure enough, a lot of things needed to be changed with the original quote including a substantial price hike/parts of the quote he could not give over the phone. Said we would essentially need an entirely new quote because the old one was nowhere near what we needed. Asked him when he could come out to reassess the parts of the job that he said he “needed to see in person” due to the new info, and he said he couldn’t come out again. Asked why. He said “no need, just tell us when we start to actually work on the house”. I explained to him that I wasn’t exactly comfortable with that and wanted everyone on the same page before I handed him thousands of dollars, not to mention the fact that we basically have no idea what we’re looking at now (price-wise). He got extremely upset with me and told me I was “treating him like a crook when it’s not him that’s the crook, it’s everyone else that is.” I was so shocked that the conversation had taken such a bizarre turn and asked him if I’d offended him because that wasn’t my intent, I was simply protecting myself and my investment. Plus, that’s how normal business works. You give a quote for a job, right? Again, we’re talking thousands of dollars here. He said I had offended him and that “I should just trust him since he has been in business since early 2000s and has a BBB rating of A+.” I again apologized that he was offended and explained to him that I still needed a brand new quote since so much had changed with the original one. He got frustrated, told me “no”, to have a good day, then hung up on me. I’m not sure if he has early Alzheimer’s or what, but that was the strangest conversation/experience I’ve ever had. I can’t rate his work because he didn’t do any for me, but buyer beware, this man is wonky, extremely impatient, quick-tempered, and aggressive when it comes to communication. It’s almost sad in a way. 😔

Very rude when I called back about a quote after a month. Said they called, but I never got a call or a message. Unbelievably rude when I was questioning whether they had called. I certainly will not be recommending this company for any work. You would think when you are asking someone to do a job that will cost thousands of dollars they would find someway to contact you when they have your address, phone and email. Totally unacceptable that after over a month they can be rude to a customer that just wants to get a job done. Sad. Two thumbs down for this company. Not that they care apparently!

Owner was a real jerk.. Just called politely to get a quote and said he was 8 weeks out on doing work. I said that would be fine. He said hes bowing out because he felt like I was wasting his time. Very rude and bizarre. Why even take the call if you arent taking any new jobs? Or maybe hes just cherry picking jobs that he can go make a quick buck on without having to earn the bid.

Roger and his crew created a new living experience for my family. They completely up-graded my basement dead area to a spacious living area. The best thing is, it was affordable..

Fox and Sons built a sunroom for us, in addition to repairing our roof (that was badly damaged by a tree falling on it). In terms of the sunroom, they did an awesome job. The attention to detail was excellent, from placing electrical outlets in convenient spots to installing beautiful and easy to clean windows. Everyone who comes to our house compliments us on the sunroom-it is the nicest room in the house.The roof was damaged by a tree that fell onto our roof. Fox and Sons came out immediately to assess the damage, and put extremely good covering on the roof to protect it when they came. The repair work was done as nicely as the sunroom was-very neat and nice workmanship.The crowning touch that proves what a great company Fox and Sons is was when I accidentally broke one of the windows in our sunroom several years after it was installed. I called and within 30 minutes, they sent two repairmen out to fix it. You just dont find remodeling companies like that anywhere these days. We cant say enough good about them.

Rodger is always on top of it and gets the job done at a fair price
