My boyfriend and I came to this new barber after his old barber was no longer available to cut hair. We had an awesome experience, from start to finish. We were early, so Ali decided to just go ahead and start. Partway through the haircut we were surprised when NFL player Storm Norton from the San Diego Chargers walked in nonchalantly and shook everyone’s hand and started talking to Ali like they were buddies. My boyfriend is like any sports loving man and this made his whole experience! He got a great haircut and a good experience. 10/10 I would definitely recommend :)

For two years Ali was the only person to cut my hair in the Toledo area and at the time I thought I was getting a great haircut and a decent experience. After going to a different barber for the last six months I feel like I need to edit my rating for Image1 and highlight some of the flaws that I have found. More often than not Ali was running behind on appointments (probably because for the lingest time he refused to hire a second barber) and consequently he would rush through my haircut. Every time I went I asked for the same thing (which he never remembered, more on that below) but he would cut it complete different, often doing things I asked him not to do (cutting too short in certain areas, cutting sideburns, etc). At most places you get a shampoo and style after the haircut, but not at Image1. Ali would usually just put some gel in my hair and call it a day. Aside from the haircut, Ali never remember my name or who I was over the two years I went to him for haircuts.With my new barber the difference is night and day. I am greeted by everyone who works there (all of whom know my name, even the ones who do not cut my hair), offered free drinks, and given an excellent haircut (which includes shampoo and style), given great advice on how to style and care for my hair at home. Even when my barber is busy and running behind he always takes his time on every customer.As you can see in some of Alis pictures, he has the potential to cut great hair. Unfortunately for me, I never got the haircut or experience that you look for when picking a barber.
