Have had my car for over two weeks. They do not answer their phone, ever, and have a full voicemail.... told me on a Friday (after having my car since that Monday so 5 days) it would be done Monday, It wasn’t and I tried to contact them ALL week..a week later they tell me the same thing. “It SHOULD be done by this Monday” (2 weeks later) so another week/weekend without a car. Even after I stressed to them this was my only means of transportation. I told them if they had been honest I could have had my car towed elsewhere. I have no idea when I will get my car back at this time. Avoid at all costs. Mechanic was rude as well who finally answered the phone and complained this was taking money out of his pocket. Do not recommend if I could give zero stars I would.

My experience was horrible I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs their car. Not only did they keep my car for 3 weeks but they never communicated with me about the status. Would never answer the phone. And when I got my car back it was the same. The worst experience Ive ever had in 57 years

Had my vehicle towed from here. Driver dented and scratched my back door hitting another vehicle! On top of charging me $50 to take my car to an autoshop literally down the street. Call someone else for a tow

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with this business. They take good care of my elderly mother and always treat her with warmth and prompt service to insure her vehicles are always safe! Not to mention their tow truck driver Steve is exceptional and will go above and beyond to make sure your vehicle is properly transported! 5 stars isn’t enough! Love these guys and highly recommend!

Back when it was actually Mac and Al, this was an excellent place to go. Unfortunately, under Roger, they have completely gone downhill. I used to use them exclusively until I was ripped off and lied to and received horrendous quality of service. This place is a chaotic disaster, avoid it like the plague!

I have been going to them for over a year now & they always take good care of me always make sure it drives good before I leave with it & they put into detail on what work they do.

Do NOT go there they are robbers!! 6 months and 400$ laterlater no work had been done to my truck! I checked on it it a week ago today and it was gone!! Was found by poluce this morning stripped !! No motor rear end fenders NOTHING!!! It was seen on 3 different business camera so far and I will keep building my case!!!

The staff at the garage was very polite and helpful when my car was involved in an accident. They responded to my questions and car needs in a very quick and timely manner. Their prices are very reasonable and low in comparison to all of the other garages located in Toledo. I know that if my car needs any repairs my business will go to Mac & Als Garage.

I really like this place. It is hard to find a dependable and honest mechanic, especially for a woman. If you want it done right see Roger or any of the other mechanics in the shop. They are also reasonably priced too!

Roger has a heart of gold i needed a car fast was walking taking buses and he got me one and was very quick very nice guyand cheap thanks to him life is so much better

I am a single father raising two small children, I take half the blame because I didn’t do enough research, I spent $2000 of my student loan to have my car fixed, only to find out Roger is a crook. They will put used parts that don’t even work back on your car and charge you full price for new parts they ran a wire from my crankshaft sensor wire to the harnest to temporarily get me down the road.Do think they would have some kind of morals when they looked in the backseat to see the two small car seats for my children. I am not only out the $2000 I am also out of my car, I am riding a mountain bike to classes at Owens. I am behind on my route from missing work. I never leave reviews unless they are positive.When I had the car towed it had a half a tank a gas he charge me $20 on my receipt for gas the car was on empty. A few weeks ago a buddy of mine asked me who’s been driving my car the mechanic was taking at home every night. I could go on and on about the damage They have done to my engine. Also the car received a huge dent in the quarter panel, when I confronted Roger he tried to Lie and tell me that’s how it came in, he didn’t know that his mechanic threw him under the bus 10 minutes prior. He told me to bring the car back in and they will fix the door lock on it? Please take my advice and stay far away from these people there are a lot of other trustworthy mechanic so here if you just do a little research.

My car broke down,fuel pump failed I thought, so I had the guys at Mac and Als tow my car in, which they did quickly as possible. First they confirmed that the fuel pump had failed, and then they fixed it as soon as they could. The price was reasonable and fair.They were nice and down to earth which I appreciated!

Worst place ever

Dave took my money to fix the alternator but never did the work. I have been trying to reach out to him for weeks to no avail. Dave told his boss at Mac & Als to stay out of his business but this is not the first time Dave has taken money and not done the work. He also took my battery to test it even though I told him it was brand new so now Im out 50 bucks and anew battery.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Had my car towed out of a ditch on 1-28-2014. The guy pulled it out in gear dragging it up the hill. Proceeded to take the car to my garage of my choice and dropped the car in the parking lot, left the keys in the ignition and did not inform them he dropped it off. The car sat all day and night with the keys in it. The garage called me in the morning of next day to see if i was still having car towed to that shop, they had no idea Mac and Als driver dropped it off because he dumped it and left. When I called Mac and Als the guy told me I dont know what your problem is so now my car sat for a day not being looked at or fixed, another day paying for a rental car and the guy hangs up on me. Terrible experience. The guy on the phone was a complete ass.. I will never even consider this company again and I hope after reading this no one does.
