If you need work done on your vehicle I highly recommend this place! I found it online and took my daughters car here a few months back. The problem was something really simple and Jim did it for free! Today I took it in because her headlight wasnt working even after changing the bulb. He fixed the wiring and put a new bulb in and charged me 10 bucks!! He could have told me anything and charged me anything and I wouldve paid. Most honest mechanic ever!

Jim is a stand-up guy who is honest dependable and trustworthy. Anytime you need help he is the go-to man in Toledo.

Jim is the BEST mechanic in Toledo!2 years ago my jeep began having serious issues with the transmission. I took my Jeep to 3 different transmission repair shops and I was told that I had to get a whole new transmission. The cheapest quote I was given was $1500. I was devastated because I only had the Jeep for a year and I was still making payments on this 6 year old SUV.My dad recommended that I take my car to his mechanic and I did so reluctantly because he isnt a transmission specialist.I am so grateful I listened to my father, Jim told me that my transmission did not need to be replaced, and the problem was a $200 dollar sensor!About 6 months later I had to come back to Jim because my Jeep began doing the same thing, not shifting gears. I dropped my Jeep off and came back to get it the next day. I asked him how much it would cost this time, and he told me that the sensor was still under warranty, and that there really wasnt any labor involved at all; so he wasnt charging me anything at all!Since then I ONLY take my vehicles to Jim, he has proven time, and time again, that he is clearly the only mechanic in this town who has any ethics whatsoever!I have recommended him time and again, and now my in-laws quit going to the mechanic they went to for over 25 years, simply because Jim has fair prices and he gets the job done!If you take your car to Jim you will be impressed.

Called to get an estimate but they only have a 3 hour window to have your car looked at, I seen it as very inconvenient for anyone who works crazy hours during the week.

Great people! Took my car to Jims after my hood would not close during a drive from Michigan to New Jersey. Jim was able to get the hood to close within 10 minutes preventing a costly and time consuming repair that would delay my family returning home. He wished us a Merry Christmas and did not charge us for his time and services. Fair and honest people, which is the type of person you want fixing your car. Thank you!

I used to love this place. Theyre VERY cheap and used to be extremely fast. I called jims over a month ago to have him replace a fuel pump, without an appointment. he originally told me that the problem I was having wasnt caused by the fuel pump and that hed look at it over the weekend. A week rolls by and I had to call him to find out he hadnt even touched it yet. A few days later I get a call saying its the alternator (luckily I had purchased that one from OReillys with a lifetime warranty). They replaced it along with some other small stuff trying to get my P.O.S. running again, and after yet another week of waiting they call and tell me to come pick it up... I couldnt even drive the van out of there because it wouldnt run right! Up to this point, I was very calm and understanding that my van is in fact a P.O.S. but after we brought them the new computer to put in it, they still havent touched it after another week. So after a month of not being able to use my work vehicle, I had to get it towed to another mechanic.Again, I understand I didnt have an appointment and scheduled customers come first, but I dont think it shouldve taken a month for this.We also had another problem with him and this particular vehicle; it was misfiring so he replaced the spark plugs & wires for us. When we picked it up it was running worse than when I brought it to him. I turned around less than a mile from the shop, went to talk to them and he said the problem should fix itself with some sort of this special stuff they put in it. I didnt listen to them, said it was a bigger problem than that, and then they found out they miswired the new spark plug wires.They just completely lost ALL of my business and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone again.P.s. how do you not have change for a customer when youre a cash only business?
