I highly recommend the Kumon Math and Reading Center of The Woodlands - West if your child is struggling (or seems behind) with math and/or reading. The director of this location is amazing. She is well versed and knowledgeable about teaching adolescents, how curriculum can best serve the child’s needs and truly cares about each one of her students.

Fantastic place and great program. We have tried a couple other Kumons in the area but there is nothing like this one. The director, Mrs. Birgit, is a phenomenal educator and truly cares about her students. I particularly like the responsiveness and open line of communication with the parents which provides great insight on my childs progress. One story I must share; Mrs. Birgit and her amazing staff went above and beyond their service offering and helped my child prepare for a major math test in school. This is not a given. The progress my child has made in math is incredible. We cant rely on our school systems to teach our kids math, but you sure can rely on the Kumon system in general and this specific location and Mrs. Birgit in particular. Highly recommended!!!

Kumon has been a big component in my sons learning. In the 3+ years hes participated in the program we have seen him excel in Math and reading. His assignments encompass a few minutes a day of math and/or reading giving him the tools to be self disciplined and have great work ethic. Mrs. Hess and her staff of tutors are very compassionate and encouraging and have always been very responsive and accommodating with our changing schedules. We appreciate her communication with us regarding our sons progress and goals. We are very happy with the process, the people, and most of all the results!

Our kids have been in this center for about an year and have seen consistency improvement in their academic progress. Ms. Brigit knows students individually and understand their needs. She is very prompt in answering any questions and replies emails. Center staffs are very helpful. They have worked hard during the pandemic to keep the program going without interruption. Our kids enjoy the program.We highly recommend this center for anyone.

My son just started 2 months ago, but he already is improving and getting better. Math he got his level and improving in reading. We have been going to this center for 2 years already. The director of the center is always attentive with each kids and their progress. We pass by 2 Kumon centers before we get to this one because we know our kids are learning in a safe environment.

We started Kumon when our oldest was in Kinder. He not only caught up to grade level, but he is now almost two years advanced! We now have three children enrolled, and are continually astounded by their growth. Kumon works, and the staff here are amazing!

My kids started the Kumon math program when they were 4 years old. They did not need any assistance in learning but we choose Kumon in order to help them having discipline in learning and to learn how to study independently. Today, after 4 years for my son and 2 years for my daughter, both my kids are way ahead than their classmates in math. Another thing to take in consideration when choosing to do Kumon is to choose a good center. Ive experienced the Kumon program in a different area and my experience was not the same. Mrs. Hess and her team in The Kumon Center in The Woodlands - West are really doing an excellent job in keeping the kids motivated to study and progress during this hard period of COVID-19. I am really impressed how Mrs. Hess knows each one of her students’ level and personality very well that she knows how to design the adequate lesson plan for them. I definitely recommend this center... My kids love it!

Our daughter has been in Kumon Math and Reading for the past four years. This is a amazing program where our daughter who is only in second grade is now doing 6th grade math and reading. Mrs. Bridget does an amazing job with the kids by keeping them on track. This location has a lot of staff to provide each child individual attention while they are working. We would highly recommend kumon of Woodlands West to anyone who wants their child to excel in math and reading.

We started at this location right when it opened several years ago and have loved watching it grow! My second child is currently enrolled and my 3rd is about to start over the summer. The program is fantastic, but here it is also the great staff that make a difference. All friendly and involved with the kids. Despite the huge growth at this center the owner is still responsive to emails and calls and personally involved with all of the families!

My experience at Kumon is been positive, Since You Enter the Center with Welcome Greeting, Mrs Birgit Hess pay attention to your concerns and knows how to help each kid, always has time to answer any questions, I drive 40 minutes to get there is worth with the quality time they give to my children’s the learning experience is Great Good results on my daughter reading level in a short period of time. We love it, My daughter enjoys a lot Kumon.

My son Joshua has been at Kumon now for 2 years and it has been such a blessing for him. He has just started the 3rd grade but it doing math and reading at a 5th grade level which really makes his school days enjoyable since he understands everything they are doing. Thank you Mrs. Hess and her husband Luis. They are a blessing for our family especially my Ethan. Ethan was born with bilateral hearing loss and received cochleae implanted in 2014. He is in kindergarten and doing a 3rd graded math and 1st graded reading. My other son is Trevor, he is 3rd graded and doing pre-algebra right now and his reading is also ahead.
