My children have been going to Mathnasium for years. They love it. It gives them a strong basis in mathematics for both doing homework and just understanding it in general. The staff are extremely kind and caring. I highly recommend the program.

Do you have a kid that could use a math workout? This could be the place but unfortunately, this one has some problems. Accountability for one. If you send your kid here for a few months, other than your. Hold earning stars (nice) but you dont get a report out of what they are learning for your $350/month (bad). In the old days people simply sent kids home with the papers they worked on but not Mathnasium. I tried to work with this place. When my daughter complained that everything was too easy, I visited the manager. When she said that what they were studying in school wasn’t being helped by mathnasuim I visited the manager again and went over Olivia’s records. The manager was put together and knew the program well. But execution on the ground wasn’t good (the report out I received was incomplete and my daughter took another assessment as we agreed to, but then the tutor didn’t get her to do it and then later the manager was saying she never got the assessment. All I’m clear on was that I was spending money and my daughter was getting very little value for it.My daughter does better when working with one tutor but with Mathnasium she rarely got same tutor. So the system is transactional rather than relationship building. She doesn’t do well with strangers. (Think about it, do you trust asking questions and for help from a well loved tutor or a new person each day?)To cap it all off, Mathnasium charges you to break the relationship. Once you realize your kid isnt really making good progress they have in the contract that when you cancel, you need to continue paying them for an additional month (another $350), and to add to the rub, you get charged $200 for breaking contract. This is a very steep cost that an unhappy customer is forced to pay.So whats an alternative? Im taking my daughter to SAM-Houston. They use the Singapore Math system and guess what? They bring home a workbook so Ill know whats being taught. And they have two tutors so she can develop a repartee.

I attended Mathnasium as an adult due to some holes in my education. Truthfully, I was pretty scared to be starting over in my math education at the age of 23, but the lovely people at Mathnasium have made it easy. They are always kind, warm and patient to all of their students. Im actually quite sad to be going! I adored my time here and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you go in to see them, tell them I said hey ;)

An incredibly helpful team at Mathnasium of The Woodlands. They have made math fun for my daughter. They offer flexible scheduling at an incredible value compared to other services. Definitely worth the time/effort to check them out and help increase confidence, understanding, and grades in math.

Excellent coaching on Maths, I can say proudly that because of Mathnasium my kid able to get into Academy. Appreciate a lot, the way Mathnasium detailed & excellent presenting skills and family kind of environment and association with students. I strongly recommend to all my friends to join their kids to excel in their studies academically.

My son needed just a little help to grasp some of the concepts missed during the lockdown, and I wanted to make sure my daughter was well-prepared as she moved into 7th grade and Honors Pre-Algebra. Both have learned a lot and are really thriving. They are much more confident in their math knowledge and skills. They know what they know, and what they need to work on. They are learning ahead now, so unknown concepts won’t be causing stress for them in school next year. We are very happy!

Great place for kids to fill in any gaps in math. Highly recommend!

Flexible timings,Professional good improvement in my child since 2 years. I give 4 because their policies are not good. When we request to hold the account for 1 or 2 months they still charge the account and give credit once you come back and resume the classes. But later if you decide not to continue the classes for various reasons you will still loose the amount and they dont refund back.Even in the present situations too...

In just couple of months I see a big difference in my kids confidence level and knowledge in maths. Before he used to count using fingers, now he use the wonderful techniques taught at Mathnasium. It is also fun to study as teachers are very cooperative and friendly, he never want to miss any day and also have fun during game time after the class. I also like the process where center manager Ms Cara go over the progress reports with you. Im so impressed that Ive already enrolled my kindergartner, just so that I get a sibling discount :) just kidding

Both my children attend Mathnasium and love it! Not only are they learning and improving their math skills, they have fun! We saw a five point improvement in their math grade just after 6 weeks of attendance!

My daughter started with Mathnasium 10 months ago and raised her PSAT math score by over 30%. She says she finally understands math and wants to be a math or physics teacher or professor. It has improved her confidence and helped her excel in high school level science classes. My daughter wishes we had started at Mathnasium earlier, but she is glad we found it when we did. The tutors are very good and develop great relationships with the kids. We highly recommend it, it could change your childs life!

My son has struggled with math in school. He has only been going to Mathnasium for a month, but the most important indicator for me so far is that he seems to like to go and almost always chooses to stay longer than the minimum time for his age. So far so good!

My son enjoys his time at mathnasium. He comes home happy and excited about new things he has learned in math. It provides him education in math outside of the school setting to keep him engaged and challenged. The staff is patient and very friendly. I highly recommend this location for math for your children

I was a little disappointed. My son attended the algebra readiness courses over the summer. He went at least 3 days a week for an hour over the summer. However, I dont feel he has gotten ahead at all. He is in 8th grade and taking algebra this year. He has always been an A/B student in AP courses. We thought this would give him a leg up, however, in the future, I would not spend the $700+ again.

Mathnasium has been terrific for all 3 of my kids! My 3rd child struggled with confidence in math in 3rd grade, and after just the first week of attending Mathnasium he suddenly became very confident and has excelled in math ever since. He is now tackling pre-Algebra in 6th grade which will be a big challenge, but with the ongoing support of Mathnasium and the broad knowledge base he now has, I know he will do just fine!

Steady improvement for the student and convenient times for parents.

My hope was to enable my children to get a more in-depth understanding of the different math subjects/topics. Mathnasium of The Woodlands helped them achieved that. Not only were they able to learn new materials, but the math problems in the reviews were more challenging than what they see in school. As a result, they were able to achieve a deeper understanding of the different math topics. The instructors are caring, and have the ability to explain the concepts clearly. The environment is encouraging and supportive. My children all got As for the first quarter report card: Algebra 92%, advance 6th grade math 95%, and advance 5th grade math 100%. John Opalko and Kara Brown truly listen and work with the children to help them achieve. I highly recommend Mathnasium of The Woodlands.
