Went to take my grandkids swimming, they had a blast! Staff was very friendly. Only thing I can complain about is the cost. Most pools Ive gone to only charge $4-$5 for adults, cost for adults is $10

They have an awesome physical therapy dept in this gym. Ive used them twice for PT. Same guy, his name is Gary and he is very good.

Very nice facility. Kids in the Saturday PE classes and they had a lot of fun. The pool was clean and there was also poolside activities.So glad I found out about this place

I attend the HealthCare Express PT for pool therapy and I love it. All the therapists are awesome to work with.

My husband is doing physical therapy here, after his back surgery. The staff are all super nice! MUCH less expensive than other places too! If you need physical therapy, be sure you check them out first, save you a ton of money. We also got protein shakes while there, they are very good!

I know we are dealing with crazy times and the gym can be our only release sometimes. Traveling for the Holidays, hotels open but their gyms are not. I reached out to this Veteran Owned business, and the courtesy they showed to me, a fellow veteran is priceless. I told them I only need a hour or two to get in a workout before I continued my drive. They did not let me down and gave me a complimentary pass. At the front desk was Kolby, even with me only needing a hour or two workout. She still above and beyond, gave me a tour of the gym and let me everything they had to offer... WHICH IS A LOT. THIS GYM HAS EVERYTHING. My last shout out goes to Trey. He was working upstairs and stop to ask if I needed any help. Also, if I needed a spot, to let him know. Besides the gym being awesome, if I was local, I would join just because of the Great Staff. Support Small Business, and Remember shop local if you can.

Ive been attending The Sportsplex or Mintons for over 13 years. It has great equipment and the overall facilities are excellent. I do wish that the hand towels were available on Sundays, and that the TVs were able to be seen on the treadmills without straining ones neck.

How are yall going to say community pool but change prices making it impossible for parents to pay it. $20 per adults $ 10 per kids. That is just ridiculous.

Things I like about this gymlots of room, plenty of equipment, sauna and steam room in men’s locker room (sauna ONLY in women’s) great staff, pool, lots of classes.

I came in with a friend of mine who is a member. We came early in the morning and the front desk girl was on her phone and only looked up to give a quick “hi.” And back to her phone. When we were walking out the same girl was hugging on a much older looking man to the side of the front desk, looked very inappropriate. I’ve heard similar things from other people who’ve been there as guests and members, including doing her hair/make up at the desk, or in the locker room, asleep at the desk, or just not even there and not a place I will come to again.....definitely no work place manners.great place, not so great staff.I rather take my money somewhere else to work out my friend also said she will NOT be coming back and that she will be canceling her membership!

Mintons Sportsplex is by far the best gym Ive ever been to! It has everything you could ever want in a gym and has great membership prices! Ive been a member since the early 90s and it has always been great. Very clean facility, well equipped, and always friendly.

This was my first time going to work out.I really enjoyed the work out,I will be there again.

Great place for children to have a blast in the water play area. I personally wish some of the women that spend time in the children areas would cover their bodies a little more. Totally inappropriate.

My Wife and I moved to Texarkana to start a business with family in the area..I work out and thought Minton’s would be a good place (shouldn’t have signed a contract).The business fell through and we had to move back after less than a month being there. I spoke with the staff about canceling and they basically said no, we can’t help you... mind you, I’ve seen marketing material giving away 2 months of membership, but they would not do anything... So with the business not working out, my wife and I now jobless, small child to take care of, and a mortgage. The $150 buck a month being drafted from my account doesn’t help... when I read the reviews for Minton’s and people say that all they care about is money, I will have to agree with them...I have never written a review for any gym or retail establishment but I felt the need to this time... I don’t want anyone to sign there contract and regret it... There are other gyms in that area I would sign up with if I had to do it again… Anytime Fitness, and Gold’s Gym Express are just down the street.Hopefully they will see that the rigidness of their policy only hurts their business in the long run, and change it. Hope this helps..

Always greeted with a smile. No one bothers my daughter and I, we like to do our own thing. Womens locker rooms and showers are always clean and well stocked. My kind of place.

Started out good but ended up not so much

We moved here one year ago to Texarkana. I decided to ignore my coworkers advice and try Mintons. There is a complete lack of professionalism from the staff. They claim to have trainers available but during my evaluation the trainer only asked a couple of questions and was going to have me come back and pay for a consultation. The trainer I was told was former military, but he didnt even take the time to get my blood pressure, my vitals, or my medical history. The trainer was not going to do anything really without me paying more money upfront.We also found out after a week after joining the gym that my work schedule was not going to allow me access to use the gym during the hours it was open. I was unhappy with the service already and I asked the owner if they would let me out of the one year contract. his answer was absolutely not. They advertise about how much they care, but when it comes down to it, they demand money for everything at the facility and they charge outrageous membership fees. I should have taken my coworkers advice and stayed far away from this gym.

I have been going to the Sportsplex by HealthCare Express for 4 weeks. Besides the well maintained equipment, I have been impressed by the friendly attitide and the interest that everyone shows in my training. John, Dave and Jonathan have been attentive so that my work-outs are beneficial without being traumatic. After starting, my wife has started training with Jonathan and has nothing but praise for him and the Sportsplex.

I can talk nonstop about all the great things this gym has to offer. But to summarize, this place is the absolute best. Everyone who works here is not only knowledgeable, dedicated, and extremely passionate about what they do, they also (most importantly) have so much integrity. And their enthusiasm and motivation is contagious. I have truly HATED exercise in general my entire life, but now I workout twice a day basically everyday. If you think you hate exercise or lack motivation, try out one of the classes! I take Body Pump, spin, and yoga classes here and they are all top notch. I could see major changes in my body and started getting compliments on my figure after only 6 weeks of taking Body Pump consistantly. I believe its the only gym in town that has Body Pump. They offer classes from 5am thru the evening, so there is something that will work for most anyones schedule. Another invaluable feature to me is the amazing childcare available. I know I can trust them completely to take great care of my little 2 year old. This place and these people have genuinely been a life saver for me. Its more like being part of a family than just a gym. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My child has been going to the Daycare since he was two years old and he loves it; They have a great staff and always have different things for the children to do especially during the summer.

I always loved this gym with the 2 stories, smoothie bar, volleyball, kids center and more.

I have literally been going to this gym since I could walk won the Texas highschool state championship powerlifting meet out of this gym. It is the Gold standard to all gyms and I love it so many extra luxuries make it worth the money. Loyd maybe you should consider your busniess failed because your not very smart, signing a contract and opening a failing business see your way out of the gym fit for the accomplished people buddy.
