Hi, going to this gym for the last six months has been great and the workers here are professional and nice. If you ever want to get lose weight and get shredded pick this gym, it provides everyone with a welcoming stay and everyone here gives motivation to others, also the owner is a awesome dude!

My husband has been trying to cancel his gym membership for MONTHS!! He is well past the 12 month contract. We have called, sent emails to the “manager” as they have instructed us to do, they have said they are leaving “notes to the manager” to cancel, etc. and that it’s taken care of.Yet every month, we are still charged. We have moved over 5 hours away and so can’t even access the gym. It’s frustrating. So have to agree with other reviewers on here, poor cancellation processes.

Read the fine print of your contract, it’s extremely parasitic. If you need to cancel early you’ll have to jump through multiple hoops. Cancellation fee, contract termination fee, and as a cherry on top they charge you NEXT MONTHS BILL after canceling for no apparent reason... poor business practices, also needs to make it more apparent that you’re in an annual contract bc that is not anywhere on the website advertisement.

I have never been sucessful at staying at a gym until I started going to Gymbox. The staff is amazing and supportive. They have so much equipment to use and are willing to show you how to use it. I would recommend this gym to everyone.

BoxGym upgraded TVs. Blasted through last week workouts with the help of eight stations (3 sports) that distracted me from burning calories. 5 stars coming if this lasts.

I would like to see them get a couple of back chairs that massage like Planet Fitness has. I have had surgery on my back and it’s Cranky. The water massage beds don’t dig in like the massage chairs do. Gym Box: add a couple of those back where the Hydro beds are please.

Awesome GYM! I travel around the country and go to the closest gym to my hotel. This one is by far the best maintained of them all. The bathroom is clean and does not smell like a nasty locker room. weights are organized and not scattered about the place like many of the gyms I have been to. The equipment is in good condition and they have everything needed for a killer workout. The staff is very nice and welcoming to everyone. I managed to to get a 24 hour pass for around 11 bucks which allowed me to go 2 days in a row! The best part is that there is a Chipotle 100 yards away for a post workout meal.!

Yall cop a 4 because you dont update your hours. I get Covid has finessed everybody, but dont advertise a 24 hour Friday and then clap the doors at 10. If I wanted to be inconsistent Id be at Planet Fitness. Otherwise we dont have any problems.

Great gym! Clean and well equipped with lots of amenities like studio classes, tanning, Hydromassage, Personal Traning, spacious locker rooms and more. The staff is friendly and there to help. Best gym in Texarkana!

It was great nice workout then a soothing tanning bed right after be4 heading home. The night time employee that works 11pm to 5am is awesome he always very helpful any time I need him for anything hes right there to assist me.

Best gym in Texarkana! I’ve been coming here a little over a year. The staff are all very nice and professional, the facility is always clean, and it isn’t over-crowded. The equipment is all newer/modern and you can’t beat $10/$20 a month!

Used to be a member at St. Michaels. They are now closed and have sold. Now we go to Gymbox and like it even better.

This is a spacious gym with some great equipment. I travel all over for work and can call multiple gyms home nation wide, but Gym Box Texarkana is most definitely my favorite. The facility is modern and is kept spotless throughout the day. There are plenty of weights organized efficiently in a space separate from dozens of state of the art cardio machines. Aside from the cleanliness, nice equipment, and solid layout, the staff is also very friendly and are able to answer ANY questions. I would recommend this gym to gym seekers of any level or with any fitness goal.

Great facility, the only downfall is: the teenagers who congregate in the free weight area. Makes it very hard to get in and out quickly. For this reason, were in the process of switching to another gym in Texarkana.

The staff and facility at this new location in Texarkana is excellent. David (the general manager) was so helpful, and the addition of classes made this a great improvement over the Gold’s Gym that was there previously. I highly recommend you come check it out! Thanks again, David!

The staff is nice and the equipment options are decent. I will say it feels really cramped sometimes. But other than that its a fine place.

Was in town for work last week and got to use GymBox for the week. Staff was friendly upon entry and exit. Plenty of cardio machines, free weights and weight machines. Will visit again if I’m back in town

I AM AMENDING THIS REVIEW BECAUSE AFTER POSTING THIS THE GM IN LONGVIEW CALLED ME TO REQUEST INFORMATION AS TO MY SITUATION. I WAS INFORMED HE KNEW NOTHING OF THIS AND THE COMPANY CONTRACTED WAS NOT ACTING IN THE BEST INTEREST OF GYMBOX. HE WORKED WITH ME TO FIX THIS SITUATION. I AM CHANGING THE STARS I ORIGINLALY USED HOWEVER I AM KEEPING SOME OF THE ORIGINAL INFORMATION SO THOSE READING WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT I CHANGED FROM AND WHAT THE NEW RATING IS. I WAS NOT AWARE THAT THE EMAILS WERE COMING FROM AN OUTSIDE SOURCE THAT WAS NOT INFORMING THE GYM. ONCE I WAS MADE AWARE AND THE GYM INFACT DOES HOLD THE HEALTH OF THEIR MEMBERS CLOSE I FELT THE NEED TO EXPRESS THAT. THANK YOU GYMBOX FOR THE CALL AND FREEZING MY ACCOUNT SO THAT WHEN I HAVE HAD MY KNEES REPAIRED AND HEALING IS IN PROGRESS, I MAY COME BACK TO THE GYM WITHOUT HAVING A NEGATIVE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE COMPANY IN GENERAL. IN ADDITION I DIDNT KNOW THERE IS A HEALING PLAN FOR THOSE IN ACTIVE HEALING FROM HEALTH ISSUES LIKE KNEE REPLACMENTS OR INJURIES. In the beginning it was great and if you are healthy it will be great, but after an injury from a previous injury was worsened this past March. The only reason I joined was a trainer that was studying to be a physical therapist but contractored company fired her a month into the contract and it took over a month to get a replacement we still had to pay for a trainer that was not there and no other trainer was studying or instealed the confidence needed to continue. My knee hurts so badly and with the added medical bills I just can not afford not to invest in my medical care. THEY NOW HAVE TWO TRAINERS WITH A PHYSICAL THERAPY BACKGROUND.

Was visiting Texarka for about a month went here almost everyday in that time period. Very nice facility with friendly staff and owner. Gym had everything you need to do your workout plus some. The staff keeps the gym very clean. If ever in town again I would definitely go back.

Fantastic EXCEPT: 24 hours means what it says. 7 to 7 on the weekends is not cool.

My boyfriend and I are both Active Duty Air Force. We were stationed at Tyndall AFB in Florida, but due to Hurricane Michael, our base was destroyed and we were put on evacuation orders and told to report to our home address. We reported to my home address temporarily and the owner of Gym Box (a prior service member himself) went above and beyond to accommodate us during this awkward between base transition we are facing. I couldn’t have been more please with the service we received and how nice the facilities were overall.

Local management is pleasant and approachable. Broken exercise equipment and audio/visual equipment takes FAR too long to repair. There was some improvement in the cleanliness of the lockerroom but that has declined over the past 30 days.The checking account deduction IS NOT customer friendly and an annoyance when a company can unilaterally debit your account for fees. A pay up front annual fee program would be much better.

Ive reported a broken piece of equipment multiple times, with no result of it being fixed. on 7/2/19 I walked up to the manager David, and asked him if he was going to fix the hamstring curl machine, again. David looked at me and sternly said No. I looked at him and shook my head and walked away. About 10 minutes later I noticed an older gentleman with a GymBox shirt on and asked if he was the owner. He told me he was and I relayed the same information to him as I did to David and mentioned that David told me he will not be getting it fixed. I didnt catch the owners name, but he replied Well see about that. On 7/3/19 between the times of 10:30AM and 1:00PM I was in GymBox working out, Saw David multiple times and nothing was said to me. I leave the gym, David follows me all the way to 5 Star Nutrition and confronts me about what I said to his partner, proceeds to call me a snitch and tells me the leg curl machine is in fact fixed, its just grease loaded. if the machine was fixed, People wouldnt be having the same issues Im having. The fact that the machine hasnt be locked out or repaired is huge safety risk and could cause injury, I assumed safety was the most important factor in a gym setting. If David had a problem with what I said, he shouldnt have followed me to another business to confront me. I was trying to purchase supplements and was rudely interrupted by him so he could fulfill his agenda. I am cancelling my membership due to this unprofessionalism and unsafe equipment.

Great staff, clean environment and the other fun goers all seem to be good people nobody acting like show-offs or anything like that.

Came in and the first person I seen seemed to be busy on her phone then asked me how can I help you after she was done. Following went to the mens locker room and smelled terrible, after proceeded to do my workout and noticed the employees having conversation with a memeber but the conversation carried on for twenty min. Then looking around for a machine I asked one of the memebers which he was really nice to help and show me where the machine was and how to use thank you Cody. After i finished the workout walking out the same employee was still on her phone. So needless to say its a good facility to workout, but cleanliness needs improvement. And employees need some improvement.

Lots of good equipment

Management is rude and has a chip on his shoulder. Very unprofessional. Management banned a friend of mine for asking the staff to not speak to him if they are going to continue to be rude. Have a video of the confrontation.
