They are nothing but scam artists. Rented a car from them to take a trip to Florida. Come back to a blizzard with the roads unable to drive on. Called the number on the pamphlet they gave us and talked to corporate and they told us not to worry about returning at the moment due to the weather. Called a second time just to make sure and was told the same thing. Then called them a third time when i saw they took money out of my account for thoses day and was told they shouldnt have. When I was able to return it, was told they are privately owned with the hertz name and they can make their own rules up yet they still have to hand out information from corporate.

We saved so much gas, that it was less expensive to rent a car.

Created a reservation through the Hertz website. After about a week of the reservation being on file (age 20-25) we went to the location to pickup the vehicle. The primary driver was 20, they refused to issue us the vehicle. Called their corporate office (where you can make the reservation) and the office had said that they should be able to give us the vehicle at our current age. The local location still refused to follow the corporate mandate.It would appear that this franchise doesnt have communicative abilities and operate with their heads cut off from each other.If this had been communicated to me during the entire week that the reservation was booked, and during several phone calls, the issue would have been avoided.The information on their website being up to date would be a plus.
