Ive had Sherrills out for two different services in the last couple of months; he came out and did a termite inspection for us that we needed done quickly for a house purchase. Steve was out of state when I called for the appointment and he took my call and planned his inspection for the day of his return. I was shocked he was willing to do that with such short turnaround. The bigger service was the removal of raccoon damaged insulation in our attic, then sanitization of the attic, and blowing in new insulation. Not a pleasant job and not an inexpensive one, but Steve and his crew worked fast and exceeded expectation. Very professional, on time, great communication of what he was doing and why he was doing it, and now we have peace of mind that the job was done correctly. We will absolutely use him again if services are needed and will recommend him to anyone we know. Much better than using a national chain; Steve and his wife run a great operation.

Steve was great, when his supply chain could not deliver the insulation in our time frame, he let me know immediately. He was honest and forthright every step of the way. The quality of the insulation both from an attic visual level and room temperature feel were right on the mark. Steve was wonderfully responsive. I called at 630pm, Steve was in the area for another job and he showed for an estimate within an hour. I had a ground nest of yellow jackets in my backyard found when stung while mower went through. Steve returned just after sunset to treat the nest. Amazing to have someone reached after normal business hours and have them arrive same day for assistance and treatment.

We called the other guys first at langmans they charge us $250 to do absolutely nothing except tell us that we had mice in our walls. Gary came out took care of all the mice and didnt charge us till they were gone fabulous service highly recommended by rose Hill Landscaping

I had a skunk trapped in a crawl space entry well. I told him the poor thing was young and was covered in mud. His empathy had him come right over even though he had other commitments. Id called several pest control companies who wanted to schedule an inspection 3 or 4 days out. When I called Steve he was my side of Terre Haute, and he came over in less than half an hour. Id found some termites, and he reviewed the problem with me and inspected my garage and house. He gave me a good price, which I agreed to. LATER THE SAME DAY he came over and did the job. He stayed until nearly 10pm finishing the job up. While working on the garage he found a yellow jacket nest, which he also took care of (along with 2 others I already knew about) for no extra charge. Im very satisfied with Sherrill Pest Controls punctuality, service, warranty and found Steve very pleasant and friendly to deal with. Im recommending them to my friends.

One star it is because zero isnt an option. I tried to use this business on two attempts now with no luck. The business was a no call/no show the first attempt I made. We called back to reschedule yet another appointment, got an apology for them not showing up for the first one, and got the same response yet again. I called Sherrills Pest Control when I discovered a carpenter ant crawling up the curtain of the large window in our guest bedroom. I then spotted several more carpenter ants around the heat register under the same window. Steve and his team came right over and immediately calmed my worst fears. He carefully explained the treatment plan and quoted me a price that was affordable (my second worst fear after the level of destruction carpenter ants can inflict, was the cost of treatment to get rid of them!). I needed to have a pest inspection done for my home mortgage and Steve was able to come out that same day. He offered to have me come along with him to look in the crawlspace which I wanted to do because it had been a while since I had inspected things myself. We didnt find evidence of termites but he found some wood rot fungus that needed treated. He was very professional and explained the whole situation to me as well as the pricing. Steve was extremely reasonable on his prices and was able to deliver that savings on to me as a customer better than a large nationally know company could with their markups for advertising. After treatment, the floor joists in my crawlspace look like new and the mold is completely gone. Plus it smells much better. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and will call him again in the future! He had several great solutions to prevent the high moisture environment that the underside of my house had before.
