I wish I could give a ZERO!!!I have been going to H&R Block for years, many many years and this was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. Try to keep because the drama of this is pathetic. first person Avante who did my taxes screwed up majorly did not file my California taxes, did not release my taxes as she thought, told her I wanted direct deposit she put it on the emerald card and gave me incorrect amount that I was getting back. I had to call them back and inform them that my California taxes were not filed as well as the above issues. Angie said she would fix and of course felt terrible. I go back Angie wasn’t there so sat with patsy, Who set up my California taxes gave updated amount I was getting etc. so I get my CA return no issues but of course I’m responsible for the damn fees of pulling cash off of the emerald card and yet THEY screwed up. Finally got my federal back and I was short $334 called asked Patsy why I was short she calls me back and tells me oh it’s for the fees of filing my taxes I knew it wasn’t the fees because they deduct the fees out before they release it to the IRS. A few days later on my own I find out it’s because of school Loans not the fees for filing,Patsy. I was incredibly upset because she didn’t even take the time to research she guessed what the answer was and gave it to me. According to Angie I was supposed to be reimbursed for the charge of taking such a large amount off the emerald card not once but TWICE at the bank which was A LOVELY TOTAL OF 50. Of course never received that reimbursement. At this point I am beyond sick of dealing with this place and the screwup after screwup I make a report to corporate I’m given the case number and told that the district manager would contact me and yet here we are again never contacted by the district manager I hate to say this because I’ve done business with them for so many years I will never return to H&R Block to get my taxes done ever again. It was a waste of $329 to pay someone to do my taxes and they did nothing but screw it up and I had to be penalized with fees for my money being on an emerald card that I never even wanted. If you think of going to the place run the other way and pay someone else your hard earned money to file taxes....
